The shoe fit in terms of length but slipped off my heal...

I own 3 pairs of Bernie Mev Catwalk which I wore out. The replacement pair in black/silver was about a half size to small and cramped my toes. The same shoe in the multi-color pattern was more true to size although not as comfortable as my original shoes. I attribute that to a slight change in the style from a straight to a V shaped front which tightened the toe area.

This Bernie Mev shoe style has changed sizing. What would work now is 1/2 size bigger which they do not make. A size larger is too big! So sad ?

The shoes were beautiful - perfect summer go-with for any outfit - but, they were too small and were sold out in the next size larger. Unfortunate. :(

I have been buying Bernie Mev "Catwalk" shoes for years. They are so comfortable. Suddenly the sizes are not uniform. I recently ordered 2 pair, SAME size but in different colors. Both arrived marked the same size (40) but they were two completely different sizes when I put them on. The cut of the shoe around my foot was different as well compared to an old pair I own. (One pinched and the other, while still too small, was falling off my foot when I walked! It was either a problem with the heel elastic or a lower cut of the material ) They were also not true to size but I think that's because Zappos indicates the sizes differently from other distributors. I wear a 91/2 shoe and Zappos chart says the 41 is a size 11 so I ordered a 40. That two pairs of shoes of same style and size, and made by the same company, should arrive so different in size is unpardonable. I think that like so many other companies these days, Bernie Mev is cutting corners & going for cheaper and cheaper ways and places to have their shoes made. These are made in China. So frustrating! I love these shoes but I won't be buying more unless Bernie Mev starts paying more attention to quality and not profit! PS: I reordered the two pair in Size 41 (even though Zappos said it would be equivalent to a size 11) and while the two different pairs do not feel the same size, they fit better and will do. From here on, I'll be looking to buy from companies that do not make their products in China, as hard as they are to find these days. Note: my star rankings are based on the sizing irregularities, not the shoe itself.

Fit and size was terrible! One full size is too small! Don’t even think the next size up be comfortable let alone available! These shoes are for very tiny feet.

Love the shoe but these shoes do not run true to size! I ordered a 40 (size 10) and they run very short. Disappointing!

I honestly don’t know if the size is true to size or not. I had previously bought pair of Bernie Mev shoes in the Margo style, and ordered them a size larger than I usually wear based on the recommendations. That pair was also too small. I bought another pair of the Margo, this time two sizes larger than I normally wear, along with this Catwalk style, which I assumed would fit the same way as the Margo, so I also ordered them 2 sizes larger. Unfortunately, the sizing is not similar between the two,and the Catwalk is too big. Unfortunately they were on final sale and I can’t return them, and the I would need is not available. While the Bernie Mev shoes a very cute, the quality of the sizing is very poor. I won’t purchase another pair unless the sizing issues are fixed.

My perfect size is 81/2 wide. I got the 9 equivalent and it fits like a 7 or 8. Very short.....

ACCORDING TO ALL THE WONDERFUL REVIEWS I THOUGHT I WOULD LOVE THIS SHOE! ALAS, I TAKE A 12 WIDE & THIS SHOE WAS SKIMPY & NARROW, NO WAY COULD I KEEP & WEAR IT!! CUTE........YES..............A SHOE???? NOT REALLY!! DISAPPOINTING, SO SENT IT BACK.

They fit more like a size 8

I wear a women's size 12, the heel/back of the shoe was so short the shoe slid off at the heel with every step. I have never had this happen before with a slip on shoe. Very disappointed.

The shoes were too big and much too wide. Loved the material.

The shoes are very cute. The heel is not form fitted and my foot steps out of the shoe. I tried a smaller size, and the same thing happened.

These are really cute shoes, and I loved their look. But they didn't work for me at all. I take a 9.5 or 10 W. I ordered the 11 based on others' reviews. I also have a bunion and my right foot is wider. They slipped off my feet when I tried to walk in them. I understand now they need to be pretty fitted to the feet, but I couldn't see going down a whole size seeing as the sides were already so low. Plus I need more support than they can provide at being 62 years old. My sister is 70 and loves them, so I guess it's all in the size and width of the foot.

I was disappointed in this shoe. I had tried a size smaller (too short) so I bought one size up. Still too short. Too wide. No support. I bought a pair of Bernie Mev's years ago. A great shoe. This shoe--a disappointment.

I ordered my usual size. They were too small. Sent back and reordered next whole size up. STILL too small. ReOrdered next whole size fir third try and still not right. The length was ok on third pair but the shoe curls up and makes them uncomfortable. My big toe nail still at very end. I bought two pair each time. The other was black velvet. Love them both but the velvet ones never seemed to get bigger even on third size move up. Something is terribly wrong with these shoes.

This is my second review because the first time I've ordered my correct size which is a size 8 and it was way too big so I returned them. Then I ordered a size down which is a size 7 and it they still felt kind of big where my foot is slipping out because they are very stretchy. They really aren't that comfortable and have no arch support so I have to return them.

I was very surprised by this particular "blush shimmer " pink flat) I say that because I own 4 pair and this is the FIRST TIME, I've ever had a 39 tight and moreover, a seemingly "tightly" woven toe area - almost like a knot on each shoe. Zappos was kind enough to refund me but I alerted them to the fact I truly believe there is something wrong in the fabrication of this particular Bernie Mev flat, at least? In this size and color. NONE of my other 4 pair fit so poorly OR had this "knot" (almost like a nodule) on EACH toe of EACH shoe. That is why I am so surprised I have to review them poorly...Not at all in keeping with the former "standard" I am use to.

Loved this shoe but unfortunately the size 35 in this Gold color was sized bigger than the other colors I purchased. Am returning

If they would have fit, I would have loved these. Toe box is way too small. I thought maybe they'd stretch out, but nope. The soles are white, which means after a day of wearing them and killing my feet, they're dirty and I'm unable to return them. Into the box to Goodwill they go!

I have had pair of sz 41bernie mev shoes for last several years - loved them but they were a bit loose (gift from friend so I didn't try them on before purchase) so when it came time to replace I ordered size down .... BIG mistake! They were not only too narrow but WAAAAY too short for my size 8 feet! I returned and am awaiting delivery of sz 41 shoes - hopefully they will fit! I loved the previous pair of bernie mev shoes so much I ordered 2 additional pair for gifts for family - returned the other for size 41 also (we all wear similar shoe sizes). *sigh*

I walked right out of this shoe. The heels are very wide and loose and my foot came off, but the front is very cute.

I had to buy 2 sizes larger. They do stretch, but still the shoe was uncomfortable in my true size. I am keeping them because I think I will wear them. I will have to wear a footie or trouser sock with them as they make my feet sweat. There is no arch support so I wish the liner were loose to be able to add an orthotic. All shoes should have this option. I won't buy this brand again. As I could not find this brand locally to try, I had to place 3 orders in the end to get it right. I now wish I had given up on the 1st order. I do not want to be the person who continues to order and return. Zappos might fire me. My advise is to stick with brands you know will work for you if you cannot try them on at a local store.
