I am so glad they brought this style back! These were my first pair of UGGs, about 12 years ago, before UGGs became so popular. These are really made for winter weather and snow. Unlike the most popular styles, these have a deeply treaded sole that's good in snow, and the leather is better in the snow than suede. Same cozy lining. The fit is a little smaller and they don't stretch as much as the all-suede Classic, Bailey, etc. My old Brooks UGGs are still wearable.

On a lark I was curious if UGG was ever gonna make this style again! Wahooo! You gals are in luck! I purchased mine about 10 years ago... these are my all time FAV boots - I've been babying mine cause I absolutely adore them. It's like wearing slippers when you're out. Plus I don't have to worry about rain or snow damaging them with the rugged sole. LOVE THESE. I especially like the upgrade to the all leather boot shaft. Treat yourself!

I tried a pair of these on four years ago, I loved them immensely, but balked at the price. I have regretted not buying them ever since, as later I could not find them anywhere. Imagine my joy to find they are now being made again! I bought some immediately when I found out. Like any new love relationship, I glossed over the imperfections as I wanted to love them as much as the first pair I tried on four years ago. I have worn them almost constantly for three weeks as the weather has turned rainy and cold here on the Central Coast. I am so very sorry to report there is trouble in paradise. Shortcuts have been taken, notably in the cheaper shearling lining which misses the top of the boot in some spots, and is far less plush than the original Uggs. That would be OK if it held up, but after only three weeks of wear it is already compacted to the point where they no longer feel warm and snuggly on bare feet, and I will have to start wearing socks with them. Luckily, there is room. They are not waterproof as some reviewers have claimed. Water gets in through the stitching. I was hoping it was my imagination that my toes felt wet after walking across a parking lot in heavy rain, but when I took out the inserts they were indeed damp. I now need to let them dry out, then waterproof them myself. (note: neither Ugg nor Zappos made the waterproof claim - only a few reviewers. Be careful what you say!) Poor arch support. Luckily, the shearling footbed comes out and you can slip your own insert below it, which is what I did and it works pretty well. Make sure your order a large enough size so you can do this. Also allow enough room for socks, as you will need them when the lining packs down. I still love the boots, but I am disappointed in the construction/materials and doubt they will hold up like my old original Classic Uggs, which are over 20 years old.

Love these boots! Needed new UGGs and wanted something different. I am usually an 8 1/2, bought size 9 and they are perfect. I appreciate the tread and that the boot is more structured than the suede versions. My best purchase so far to fight a cold snowy MN winter. Highly recommend!

I have been looking forever for a black waterproof wide calf boot that would be safe on ice and snow and would fit my size 10 wide. I had knee replacements last year and with osteoporosis, I can't afford to fall. I love these boots and the wool lining. They are so comfortable once I get them on -- that is the only "con" and I would buy a boot with a zipper next time. I'm surprised I paid this much, but they will last forever. I still want to fit into shoes/boots I wore over forty years ago. With age came more weight and also I think my feet have grown longer and wider, but I love the shoes with rounded toebox and cushioned inserts. This boot has a wool insert that can be changed out if needed. So I'm not an 8.5 Narrow any more. Now I wear a 9.5/10 Wide, and I value a comfortable shoe more than style. Thank you Zappos, how could anyone choose a shoe without trying it on. You have such great customer service. Nice to know the work ethic is still found in America.

Not the most feminine look, but seem well- made. I ordered these after failing to find another true winter boot in my size. I almost returned them because of their appearance: They look like the type of boots one would wear to muck around in a farmyard, especially in the black color I ordered. I kept them because of the soft, smooth fleece interior and the tread, which probably will give excellent traction in snow. I hope they prove to be waterproof when snow arrives. One strange thing, though, is the feeling of a little ridge of fleece just under the place where my toes join my foot. I hope this will smooth out with more wear. They are a snug fit, and I would order a full size up if they are to be worn with socks. I am breaking them in without socks, hoping they will stretch enough to accommodate wool socks.

Loved these boots. However, I had to return them because I have a very high arch and couldn't get my foot past the shaft, which is quite narrow. Since these are a rather thick leather, there was no way to wiggle past it and into the boot. Sad to return them. Also, with Ugg's I always order a size down from my shoe size.

My favorite Uggs!! I love that I can wear them in any weather!! Very Comfortable as well.

I love these, I got them to replace another pair of Uggs in a similar style- same toe and shape but the old ones had black sheepskin and suede uppers and these have cream sheepskin and slightly shiny leather uppers. These feel like heaven on the feet. Very durable, and water resistant so unless you are walking through a pond or in a monsoon you should be okay. Great Vibram sole. Best of all, they are ...ahem, discreetly Uggish so you can wear them to the office or whereever.

These boots are so warm and comfortable. I can wear my pants over them, so I can wear them way more. I can wear them with dress pants or jeans, they look like nice black shoes. They are so fluffy and warm inside. Highly recommend these for any wardrobe.

I love these boots. I wear an 8 in Uggs but these seem to be a bit to snug and forget wearing socks. I wish they came in half sizes but will try a 9 before returning these. I might have to just not wear socks with these...

I really enjoy these boots, would buy they again. I wear a size 10 and a size 10 fits wonderfully. I wish they had a better foot bed. Something similar to a croc. Doesn't stop me from wearing them though and I don't have to wear socks cause they are so warm. I can however wear socks.

Love these! I am a 7.5 and got an 8. Enough room to wear my thick smartwool socks. I have a med-narrow foot and they seem a bit wide but not an issue overall.

This is the third pair of black, short Brooks that I've owned. I beat them up pretty bad because they are esstentially the only shoe I wear outside in the winter here in Vermont, and I've replaced them every three years. The soles start to get holes and the suede upper rips a little at the seam near the ankle. Until that happens, they're warm, they're easy to get on and off and they're more urban-looking than most shearling-lined winter boots. This year's version is a little more narrow than my past two pairs, so I worried that the width would compromise the amount of shearling, thus warmth in the boot, but they are just as toasty and just as comfy as the others. Also, now they're a little less clunky-looking. I tried on a few other brands and styles to try to switch it up, but so far, nothing has compared to these.

Absolutely love these boots. I ordered them for work. As a pharmacist, I stand on my feet 8-13 hours a day. I needed comfort and warmth. The first day I wore them was a 10 hour day and my feet were very happy. I do not wear socks with my uggs and ordered the size I usually wear, an 8. IF I were going to wear socks with these, I definitely would have needed a 9. They look great with khakis pulled over them or jeans/leggings tucked in. Love the boots and will enjoy them for years to come!

This pair of UGGS were for my wife. She loves the boots, they are very comfortable she wishes they came in 1/2 sizes so she could wear ski socks with them.

Very comfortable, warm, and attractive. I have high arches, but I have been able to walk comfortably in these boots.

Love this boot! So comfortable and warm! I tried it on a year ago but selected another boot that was more suitable for work at the time. Still, couldn't forget this boot. Am so glad it's still available. Though I live in south Louisiana, I have Reynaud syndrome so I MUST keep my feet warm all the time. These boots ... and all my Uggs...do the job.

My husband gave me these for Christmas. Kind of a fancy version of a muck boot...which I love also. Leggings work great and they feel like you're wearing slippers. So nice! :)

I really love this boot. I am generally a size 6.5 or 7 with a quite narrow foot. I first got a size 7 and realized it was going to break in way too big. I exchanged for a size 6 (they don't come in half sizes) and it was tight, tight to the toe even but after wearing them for a week, they are perfect, so comfortable, so warm and I think they are cute.

I love these boots! I wear 7½ and bought the 8, which works fine. They are roomy in the toe, which is great for warmth in the winter cold. Own both the tall and short Brooks - the short version is great for a quick slip-ons, and w leggings. They are not waterproof, but I have never experienced any leakage or problems w rain and slush. Good idea to treat them with repellent/conditioning cream, though. Fully lined w sheepskin, which seems to be a diminishing feature in some other Ugg models. Have enjoyed these quality boots for several years - worth the money and am glad that I purchased another pair this year!

I bought this boot 10 years ago and bought the version that had the suede on the upper part. At one time, I did order the Brooks tall, to wear them with jeans tucked in and was imagining they would be warmer. There was a noticeable difference in the quality of the interior shearling -- not as plush and thinner overall. Needless to say, I returned the Brooks Tall and kept my trusty Brooks Low and since I only wear them in incredibly cold weather (I wear shearling footbed insert rain boots), they have stood the test of time. The sole is a little clunky but a terrific boot for snow and staying warm. I haven't had an issue with leaking but mine are from 2003.

I love these boots! They were a little tight around the toes the first time I wore them but they stretched out after a few wears. I like this leather style much better than the sheep skin Uggs. My old Uggs I am always cleaning salt off of them and washing them with my cleaning kit in the sink which is a lot more maintenance. These are much easier to clean salt off of and they still look cute (which is the main reason I bought them). They are also super warm. Family and friends have complimented me on them and my Aunt wants to go buy a pair now! Great buy!
