I live in Minnesota and have worn Uggs for years. Since we need snow boots for almost 6 months out of the year, I have really specific requirements when I buy an everyday boot: waterproof - I treated these with additional spray, warm - these are entirely lined with sheepskin, mid-calf, and slip-on slip off - so I can easily put them on and kick them off at the door and not track snow into my house. I love how they are understated and functional. Another reviewer observed that they have a moto edginess to them and I have to agree. I am a 7.5 in flats and an 8 in heels and running shoes. I ordered an 8 and they fit well. They are snug and cozy from the lining yet can accommodate a thicker sock if necessary. Nice support and comfortable to walk the dog or run errands. Excellent boot! I'm delighted with my purchase. I am the kind of shopper who looks for high performance products and doesn't mind paying a premium for durability. I expect these to last at least 3 years of heavy wear.

These boots are awesome! I have narrow feet and most of the other Uggs are just too wide. These are perfect! I bought my normal size and they are great! They are perfect for walking the dog and running around in the cool/cold weather! I waterproofed them and so far they have held out all of the Seattle rain!

I got a pair of these boots years ago in brown and loved them. I got my usual size 7 and they were snug. I looked for them in black for a long time and finally found them at Zappos. I got the size 8 and they are perfect. Suggest getting a whole size larger than you usually wear!

I am so happy that the short version of the Brooks boot is back! I purchased this years ago in brown and love it and have always wanted it in black as well but was sad when Ugg stopped making the short and only offered the tall. When I could not find the short a few years ago, I purchased the tall which is nice but unfortunately the height of the boot hit my calf at the largest part and I could not wear it over skinny pants. It was also too thick to wear under some straight leg outdoor winter pants. This short height works perfect over skinny pants, and under straight pants and boot cuts. When worn under jeans they have the look of an Ariat Fatbaby boot but better for winter with a wool lining which is super warm and comfortable. I condition the leather and protect these boots by using waterproofing so I can wear in snow and wet conditions. The upper boot is a softer thinner leather than the foot portion which makes it very comfortable and flexible on the leg. They fit true to size. I am a 7 and the 7 fits perfectly. I wear them without socks until the wool packs down then I sometimes add Smartwool socks. There are removable sheepskin footbeds as well so they can be replaced if desired. I am so happy that the Brooks Short is back. I highly recommend these boots for winter and happy that the quality is the same as it was years ago when I purchased my first pair. Thank you Zappos for carrying the short version. It seems you are the only retailer online that does!

I purchased the short Brooks so many years ago, and they are still in amazing condition, despite the wear and tear I have given them. I wanted another pair because the short are hard to find. These fit basically the same, and I love them. The only difference is now the shaft is leather. It was suede on my older pair. I hope they hold up as well as my older pair, however, I haven't worn them yet so only time will tell. I do highly recommend though. I usually wear a 7 in the Ugg classics, but took an 8 in these.

I love this comfy, sturdy boot. I have used it to run around town and shovel snow. It looks cute in a Doc Martin sort of way. Although it isn't advertised as waterproof I have sprayed mine with silicone and find they stand up well to slush and cold winter rain. I love the tall version of this boot as well. With its solid sole and heel that is slightly wider than the boot, it provides excellent balance and traction.

I'm so excited that brought this style back! These are the oldest pair of shoes in my closet. I bought them 15 years ago and still wear them every winter. I've worn them to snowshoe in, to rainy soccer games, you get the idea. They still look and feel great and I don't do anything to treat them. I'm going to order for my daughter.

I love these boots. I have a pair that I wore for almost 10 years and I don't want to let go. So, I bought another pair last year and came back for another pair to wear as dressy dressy dressy boots during the winter months. I got black, but I am looking at the brown. I'll probably get a brown pair too. Love them better than all my Ugg boots. Uggs are so comfortable. That's the only brand I want to wear now. Very, very comfortable. I wish Ugg would make some wide widths though. But these fit great. They fit true to size.

The past winter was very cold, I was happy that I bought the Ugg Brooks short. I wear it all the time during the cold weather. My size is 7.5, bought size 8 as suggested. But it's a bit large, so I exchanged to 7, it fit well.

I bought these over a decade ago, and they lasted for at least 8 winters, with me wearing them every day for months on end. I had been trying to replace them, so I'm happy to see they're back. I'm going to buy the tall ones this year. These were the best pair of boots ever-- great for snow because the bottom part is leather and water resistant. Super warm, my toes were never ever cold. I highly recommend them. And they aren't too "ugg"ish, they have more support and look like real boots, not slippers.

I have been wanting these boots for years. I finally broke down and bought them. And I love these boots.

These are my go-to winter boots when it is snowing hard. I have a pair in black, which I purchased in 2005. The leather is indestructible. This year will be their 10th winter, and I expect them to last a lifetime. I have tried other heavy-duty winter boots, but this is the only pair that I have kept, because of their style, versatility, and convenience. The style is sleek for an Ugg boot. The simple black color goes with everything. The boots are versatile in that they can be worn both under straight and boot cut jeans, or over your skinny jeans and leggings. Convenience is a major factor during a long snowy winter when you have to put on your boots multiple times a day. The shaft is low enough, and has enough wiggle room, to pull on and off easily without squeezing, or fussing with a zipper. But it is also tall enough to keep out the snow, and the overall look is sleeker and cuter than most heavy-duty winter boots. I am a size 8.5 and the Brooks in size 9 is my best fit (the size 8 was wearable, but my toes were hitting the toe box so I exchanged).

Oh! Out on the tundra I love my boots! They make me warm when the temperature drops! Ohhh! Forget about fashion and go with the best! Come On! Fall in love with these boots!

All the woolly comfort of classic Uggs on the inside but with more durability, tread and water resistance. They also just have more style than classic Uggs. They run a bit small.

I have a pair of Brooks; they are 10 years old. I am glad I came on the Zappos Shoes. I need a size 10.5 in these. Great price and worth every penny.

I did a lot of research before plunking down this much, but it was the best money spent! The only issue is that they don't come in sizes, and I'm a 6.5, so it's always a struggle for me to decide, do I go up or down (6 or 7)? I purchased both a 6 & 7, wore them around the house for a day & decided on the 7. I wore them with socks & felt that the size would be just perfect...well, after a couple of days, the warm wool, that does go all the way to the toes (it's great!) mats down a little bit, conforming to the foot, and then after my sister told me I'm suppose to wear them barefooted, I found the 7 was too big. By then, however, I'd already worn them outside - it's okay, they're prefect with socks on, but I think I might just order another pair in a 6 and keep those as my 'good' boots to wear barefooted. I love these boots! Comfy, ever so warm, the bottom of the boot has a great treaded bottom! Think I might buy a Vionic by Orthaheel insert for the 7's and that might solve my 'too' big problem, also!

Have been waiting years for these boots to reappear so very happy that I found them! Made my purchase just before Christmas for shipment to my parents house - bought a size 9 (normally I am 8 or 9) but couldn't get them on unless I removed my socks so immediately returned the 9 and bought the 10. Now that I've had them for a month wearing them daily for walking the dogs, I am thinking that perhaps I should have kept the 9 as they've stretched out a bit. But overall, warm and toasty and fabulous!

These are a great replacement for my tired, well-worn classic suede Uggs. A little more put together for leaving the house, and better in 'weather.' Unlike the classic Uggs that run large - I wear an 8 in those, these run true to size, so wear my normal 9. Really comfy and has a modicum of support. Love them!

I bought an older version of these back in 2002, before Uggs were really a "thing." That's not a humble brag or a claim to being ahead of trends - I just found them in a discount boutique in San Francisco and knew they were well made-shoes from my mom having owned Uggs in the 1990s. They were a lot less expensive and seemed like a total splurge at the time, especially since SF doesn't get all that cold. I wore them on and off for the next ten years, and then moved to NYC and have literally worn them non-stop for the past four winters. I don't think they're officially waterproof, but I've worn them in snow/slush and had no wetness seep through. The treads on the bottom are genius for the winter weather and walking on snow/ice. My only beef with them is that they're really not that stylish; if I wore them to work, I'd bring a pair of dressy shoes to change into. But for the price I paid, I think they're one of the smartest purchases I've ever made. Going on 13 years with these and they still look brand new. Oh - and the ones I have are lined with black fleece; not sure if I'd like them better or worse with this cream colored fleece. And I also love that the "Ugg" label isn't on the heel. No offense, Ugg. But sometimes I don't want to broadcast that I'm a sheep following the herd.

These are comfortable, soft and stylish. I wear a 39 in my Dansko clogs and a 9 or 9½ in most shoes. For those reasons I ordered both sizes 9 and 10. The size 9 are a perfect fit with light or no socks. I am so glad that Ugg decided to make these boots again since I never did order them when I liked them back when. I think that these will last me the long haul and were definitely a boon to have in the 0° weather today. If you are not sure of the size, order both and return the other. They are a little pricey but so far they are well worth it.

I have waited 3 years for Ugg to come back out with these boots! Finally...I love them. No offense to Ugg, but in general, Uggs are not the most attractive looking. When I wear these boots with the leather upper and the defined heel, you can't even tell they are Uggs but they are so warm!

Great boots! They fit true to size, maybe a little big. I wear an 8 - 8 1/2, and ordered a 9. They're a bit big, so I wear them with thick boot socks. Definitely recommend.
