I am very disappointed with this boot. I bought UGGs because I wanted quality. These boots came with a "made overseas" sticker on them, and boy does it show. The quality of the bottom leather is great, but the upper leather is way below what I've seen on other UGG models. It's thin and wrinkled and looks like it will rip though if rubbed against anything rough. The fur lining on the inside was so shabby that fake fur would be a considerable upgrade. Also the boots are NOT waterproof. Only the bottom 2 inches is waterproof. The seam on the upper part (you can see the different type of seam in the picture) is stitched in a way that it will let water through. What is the point of that? So glad Zappos has free returns.

Zappos sent these promptly the next day. However, the boots were not new. They were worn and one of them was torn at the seam. This is the first time that I bought Ugg shoes and I am very disappointed of the quality. I want to exchange them but an exchange takes up to 14 days and I am afraid that I am going to get the same pair. Therefore, I would just return them. The one star that I am giving is for the used and torn boots I received. In general, for this price, one should get better quality.

Some ten or more years ago I owned a pair of Ugg Brooks Tall. After a number of years of wear, the shearling compressed and I realized I had a size too large (they were a 9.5). The shearling had worn away where the boot bent back in the heel/ankle and it was slipping with every step, causing blistering. So I sold them on eBay. I ordered these (in a 9) assuming that I could be confident I would be getting what I had owned before - a super warm and durable winter boot (though not a stylish one - but I'd rather my feet be warm than cute). I have problems with the circulation in my feet so it is really very important for me to have a good warm boot. I was so disappointed when I put these on. Ugg has greatly reduced the quality of their product. The shearling lining was pitiful compared to the shearling that had been so warm and cozy in the last pair. For some reason, they use the nice cushy curly shearling around the shaft of the boot, but around the foot they use this weird "shearling" that feels and looks like hair. My old pair, I never wore them with anything more than a thin sock - like a ski "liner" sock, and my feet were happy in the worst weather. These ones...I wore them inside with the heat on, with no sock, for two hours and my feet never felt warm and when I pulled my feet out they even felt cold to the touch. It was terrible! I have completely lost faith in Ugg and I no longer believe that Ugg makes a product worth the price.
