Not well made for the money. Two of the lace holes are blocked. Furthermore, one would expect that the top lace holes would be reinforced with a grommet as the shoes are suede and the leather will stretch. For $250 I expect more.

I normally wear a medium width, but these were way too narrow. I couldn't even get my foot in the shoe.

I was so looking forward to receiving these... I had a pair nearly identical to these by Mephisto a few years ago that I loved. They were incredibly comfortable. These were very narrow in the toe box, and did not feel anywhere close to the comfort of my previous pair. Felt hard in the sole, not cushioned at all. Very disappointing especially when you consider the price point. Sadly these went back. Kudos to Zappos for their excellent service!!

lousy fit, all these mephistos were not up to standard- uncomfortable and fit either to small or too large.
