Excellent shoe. It's not a true burgundy, but more of a burgundy brown, which is even better for using this in ones wardrobe. Oxblood can be a difficult color to use, but because this appears brown it has a greater versatility!

I primarily wear to work with suits or business casual. I love the lighter color of the tan leather, really stands out.

I ordered a pair of these shoes to wear at my wedding. They did fit a half-size big, but that's no problem. The shoes themselves were extremely comfortable. I didn't wear them before the wedding, had them on for probably 8 hours, and when I took them off I didn't have any blisters! I had many compliments on the shoe. The best part is that the leather actually looks like smooth leather and doesn't look like a fake plastic-leather that shines. These shoes are great!

Two important changes in my life contributed to the love I have for the Conard Cap Toe shoe. I landed a new job that required business attire so I was forced to upgrade my entire high-end wardrobe. My feet hate shoes in general, so I was NOT looking forward to wearing dress shoes often. But the second I tried these shoes on I knew these were the ones I needed. And they get even MORE comfortable over time. At the same time, I ditched my car for public transportation and car-sharing. And that means I increased my steps per day significantly walking to bus stops and to the car-sharing lot. These shoes make walking 10k steps per day no big deal at all. My feet love them and I continue to buy another pair when they wear out. I almost checked the "Wears out quickly" box on this review, but I don't think they do. It feels like they hold up really well when I consider how much walking I do on city streets. Obviously, comfort is most important to me, but the style of this Conard Cap Toe shoe makes me smile every time I look down. I post #fromwhereistand photos to Instagram (camera pointed down at your shoes surrounded by interesting terrain) and I always get comments about how someone loves my shoes. So do I!

I have both the black and brown pair can't go wrong with this shoe.

Wear it at work most days. Many other shoes I've worn over the years wear out faster, but no sign of that yet. One of the most comfortable shoes also, but couldn't tell from looking at it.
