The shoes are good. Our son likes them a lot. My only complaint is that, for two years in a row, the shoe model and size that he first requested that we buy for him, have been out of stock. Last year we finally found the ones he wanted through another source. This year, a long and arduous search for the model he wanted, produced nothing. So, he had to change his request to a model other than the one he wanted. In checking several other models in your catalog, I found that most of them have out of stock sizes. It is a pity that you are so hit and miss in the stock of shoes listed in your catalog. I only buy from your company because my son likes your shoes. I could not recommend them to anyone because I wouldn't want them to be disappointed.

I've been buying J&M for many decades and feel they always run slightly big, like a 1/2 size. These shoes are massive. I wear a size 13 and would estimate these fit like a size 14.5-15. They are absolutely enormous.... I'm exchanging for a 12 and hopefully that does the trick but I'm concerned even the 12 will be big. Otherwise, beautiful shoe and happy with style.

A bit stiffer when new because of the material but a fine work dress shoe.

Nice looking shoes, but my foray into J&M was with casual shoes which are dreamy comfortable, these are not so much.

Comes a little small for fit, but leather does stretch out over a few days

Cap Toe ... bought this as a gift for my son. He used to wear a 14-14.5 size shoe. These sizes are difficult to come by and he has been able to comfortably wear a 13 in certain styles. Since Christmas, he has been able to use these shoes for work (suit and tie every day) and casual evenings out.

I like these shoes a lot, even more now that they're broken in a little as my feet aren't wide enough to buy wide but are always snug in regular width. I highly recommend buying shoe trees if you don't wear these frequently.

This shoe feels almost too tight and small when you first put it on. But give it a moment, indoors where you can walk around in it and let the leather adjust to your foot. It starts to contour to you pretty quickly. It's a little stiff at first but breaks in gently and is going to be a long-haul kind of purchase. Is a traditional medium brown not a light or chocolate in color

These look great on. May seem tight at first as the leather is high quality. Wear around the house to break them in and you won't be sorry. Would love if the leather was just a little lighter shade of brown for the spring and summer.

Wish the heel was actually layered as it appears but it's just printed on the shoe which seems cheap, especially when it starts to wear. Shoelaces seem to wear or quickly too.

I purchased two pair of these shoes. Standard fit was very snug and uncomfortable but the wide width was perfect. Nothing wrong with quality just be careful when ordering standard width if your feet are a little wider than normal. They will not break in that much
