This was one of two shoes I purchased for my son as a surprise birthday present. He loves Johnston & Murphy shoes and with the exception of basketball and running shoes, wears your shoes exclusively. The two that I purchased were sharp looking and different from the many that he already has. He LOVED them! Thanks for helping me maintain the title ..."best mom ever!" : )

I require a wide width for a true fit. A quality shoe with great styling at a great at price is an all around great value. Having wide widths made this the perfect shoe!

I recommend purchasing a half size smaller than you typically wear. The 10.5 size fits me great and I normally wear an 11. I love the blue laces that come with the black color and I also purchased the 09300250 black shoe cream which totally revives the shoes and provide a solid layer of protection against the elements and prolongs the life of the shoes. I wear these to work with slacks and out with jeans. The white stitching along the base is a great compliment to the stylish design on the shoe. They feature the super comfortable sole that cushions your foot unlike any other dress shoe. They definitely need some breaking in.

I still need to wear these and break them in but these are some very good looking shoes and way more comfortable than I expected, even after just buying some Johnston & Murphy chukka boots and loafers. The leather is stiff but that should soften up nicely and the footbed is supportive and very comfortable, more than you would expect from the pictures. These are great shoes with some nice styling touches. They are classic and yet modern.

I was at the Galleria earlier today and I saw the J&M shop. Strolled in and asked the Mgr. if they had this shoe in store (mis-pronounced it) and yes they did. The shoe looks way cooler seen than the website pictures. I wasn't planning on buying initially, but I had to looking at this lovely pair. Excellent customer service helped me make up my mind too

As a math teacher that m who had to stand for five to seven hours on any given day, these shoes are a blessing. I have wide (fat) feet so I got these in the wide size, something that I usually do not do, and there is a roomy fit. I would definitely prefer this fit than for the shoes to be too tight. When the shoes are on, they look amazing. The tongue is a bit stiff at first and can press against the front of your ankle so loosen the top strings a bit and that should do the trick until they are broken in properly. I am definitely about to order the brown pair as we speak.

This is a good shoe for the price. It's good looking, comfortable and well constructed. The color is a bit lighter than in the photos, and the sole has attractive white stitching around the upper. I considered Allen Edmonds and other higher-end brands, but I couldn't justify $300+ for a shoe. This is a good value.

The pictures don't do these shoes justice. They're absolutely gorgeous. Order a half size smaller than what you'd normally wear as they do run a bit large. I'm a medium width and they fit perfectly.

The style of these shoes have its history. The feel with improve over time, but you feel the quality from day one. About the fit, the only thing that bothers me is that right by my ankle and for long walks when I commute it gets you. The rest is to enjoy
