These were a better fit than the Melton IMO. However, there is a ridge of leather inside where the tongue attaches and it is too thick and rubs. Otherwise awesome. But can't keep them due to cost and concern over that potential rub spot

Very classy shoe. This shoe looks nice and stands out. Perfect for any occasion. I get compliments all the time about them at events or work. Since the first day I wore them, I haven't had any trouble with the comfort. I will definitely be buying the brown pair as well!

This is my third pair, on my second set of brown ones and one pair of black. I really like them!! I am in new home construction so the sole of these shoes hold up two to three times that of a leather sole....... With the same look as a nice dress shoe.

This is a handsome shoe. I bought this for my husband who commutes via train to and from work. He's been very happy with the comfort and and it's a new style for him so he's happy with that also.

These shoes are very comfortable and stylish. I walk a lot in my job--I average 5 miles per day. At the end of the day, these shoes are as comfortable as when I put them on in the morning.

This was my first "high-end" shoe purchase. I was hesitant and skeptical to buy this particular style because I feared the comfort level with not work for me. I have bad knees, ankles, and flat fee (fallen arches). The first couple days/break-in period were rough. But now I am amazed at how comfortable the shoes are to wear. I have on my feet all day sometimes 12 hours a day and the still feel great. Very happy with my purchase and will be a long time J&M customer.

Ordered these shoes for my son at college he needed them for a presentation for business class.
He said they were very stylish and comfortable . Ordered a size 14 and they were true to size . I have to say much better customer service at Zappos than Johnston and Murphy store .

I always wear either a 9 1/2 or a 10, so with these shoes being slightly narrow (but not too narrow) and the toe being slightly longer, a 9 1/2 fit perfectly. I have to say that most brands I wear, I fit a 9 1/2. Only a couple brands make a 10 that fit me better so I'd recommend buying the size you most often wear as these seem to fit true to size. the style of the shoe is impeccable and the insole is one of the most comfortable I've ever worn. Second pair of Johnston & Murphys I've purchased and won't be the last.
