Too tight for high-instep. So cute, wish I could have kept them.

I'm a little bit disappointed. The last pair I had like this, lasted about six years of heavy use before the soles started to show wear, and the soles didn't start to fall apart until maybe after nine years. This pair, the sole has started to break apart with one section disconnecting from the other section of the sole. I bought them in July 2015 so they are not even two years old. I know lemons exist and I have usually been very happy with Keen, I am just disappointed I got a lemon...or very disappointed if this represents a change in Keen quality.

I must have gotten a bum pair. I have bought this style before and loved it. I purchased another pair in my regular size and they are bizarre. They cut across the top of my foot as though the leather was cut too small. I will try again since I love Keen Maryjane style shoes. Zappos, of course, has been exceptional. Excellent shipping and return policy.

Lovely and superconfy, however, it is too wide. I'm usually size 9 but had to get 8.5. Length was ok but it was too wide and unfortunately it had to go back.

I wanted to love this shoe, but after two tries of downsizing, it is still too big and makes my size 6 foot look like a clodhopper. If it fit correctly (slightly too big means blisters), I think it would be very comfortable. It is roomy in the toe box, which is great, but the toe box is just too large for the shoe to be stylish.

This shoe is cute and well constructed. Love the grippy soles. The Mary Jane strap, however, was not properly constructed and the holes that were supposed to be bunch to enable you to tighten the shoe were, unfortunately, not in place (They did not go completely through). At this price point, I expected more and I'm not able to punch holes through leather myself. In addition, the back of the shoe is high around the heel. If you are sensitive to the heel rubbing on your angle, this shoe is not a good choice for you.

At size 9 wide, I already have pretty big feet. These don't do any favors - they make my feet look really huge! Generous sizing in the toe box and overall width helped my wide feet fit comfortably in this shoe sized medium, but the look was not flattering.

I love the look of these shoes, and the red color is especially cute, but they just didn't look that cute when I actually put them on. I like nontraditional clothes, but on me the shoes looked a little silly --bordering on the clown shoe look. I KNOW there are others, though, who would love them. They ran a little large, which probably contributed to the appearance. The insole had little or no cushion that I could feel. Not right for me.

I bought a couple sizes of these shoes in preparation for a trip to Italy, as I was worried about being uncomfortable in my older pair of Toyah MJs. The reviews are true - these shoes ARE more narrow and it feels like the insoles are more firm and made from a different material. Also, it feels like there is more of a gap between the insole and the side of the shoe, so much so that I worry about the size of my feet getting blisters from walking in them all day. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of these at all and will just clean up the Toyahs for my trip. The width of these Keen Mary Janes used to be perfect, but these are too narrow.

Color is good. The buckle is a real buckle, not a velcro closure, so you have to really undo it to slip your foot into the shoe. It has a very very wide toe box, which is a hallmark of Keen. somehow this combination, wide + color did make it look less stylish than I'd like.

Shoes are cut a bit large but I was afraid to go down a size which would then be too small. They also felt stiff on the bottom. The worst thing for me is the buckle: so tiny and stiff! In fact, on the left shoe the strap is too wide for the buckle so I could not undo it. I felt it would take me ages to put the shoes on or take them off. I like the looks and I love Keens, but these are not for me.

I normally wear an 8½ but that was too sloppy on my feet so I exchanged them for an 8. My toes are right at the front, which I am not crazy about but I decided to keep them. The support is good and, after being on my feet all day in the classroom, they're not tired. These MJs kind of look like clown shoes (in their shape). I just wish that I had spent the extra money and gotten another pair of Presidios. They are far superior to the MJs.

These shoes were simultaneously cute and clown-like. The red part was cute, but the black part was just too bulbous and goofy looking. Maybe some of that has to do with red shoes in a size 10.

These are very cute and very comfortable. However, I have been wearing them without socks and they stink to high heaven and I do not know if they can be salvaged. That is unfortunate.

Just not stable enough for me. If you pronate, or balance is an issue, this shoe might not be a good choice. I tried adding arch supports but it brought my foot too high off the sole. They are cute though.

I had a style similar to this years. Something has happened with the Keen sizing, not true. Got another style last year that I had to return because I couldn't even get my foot into them. Got this in my regular size 8-1/2, but they were too large and my heel slipped out when walking. Returned and sized down to 8, but my toes just slightly hit the front. It isn't bad enough to return so am keeping them. Also, my heel slips out a tad so I will tighten the strap. I think the heel box is too wide. It's a hit or miss in Keen sizing so be aware this when ordering.

Ordered 7 1/2 my size in keens..these fit like an 8 1/2 to a 9...

This is such a beautiful shoe, I wish the sizes were accurate. I am 7.5 and the shoe I got was marked 7.5 but fit like an 8.5. So I ordered the size 7. It fit just like a size 7, which is too small for me. This left me with no choices! This suggests to me that there is POOR QUALITY ASSURANCE at the factory! Therefore, I CAN NOT RECOMMEND this beautifully made shoe. I am trying Alegria shoes next.

The leather was so hard I could not get my foot in to them to even try. The style is not as nice as t looks.

I've traditionally been a huge fan of Keen Mary Jane style shoes - I usually buy a fresh pair every time I head out on a vacation where a lot of walking is required, but I don't want to wear tennis shoes for style reasons. There's nothing particularly special about my feet, except for the fact that they are incredibly wide cave lady feet, so I need really wide shoes in both the midfoot and toe box. Keen's have traditionally been easy to shop for because all Mary Janes fit wonderfully. Well, not these ones. The toe box is roomy, but everything else is too narrow or too tight, including the top strap. The length seems about a full size smaller, the width is narrower, and the toe box is smaller (but would have been fine with some additional wearing in). So, if you're a true medium person, this shoe is likely just fine, but if you are a W or WW, then it might be best to look at other options, like other Keens or Jambus. From a style standpoint, there's something vaguely "babushka" about these on my feet. I'm not sure if it's the softer fabric on the sides or the fact that the toe is lighter, but my feet looked even wider and stubby. Clearly, these will be returned.

This shoes felt very big and clunky to me, and normally I like this type of shoe. Not a fan!

Clunky looking and the front curve part rubbed uncomfortably on my foot and actually left a mark after <10 minutes of wearing. Returned.

I usually love Keens. I have worn their Mary Janes for years. I ordered this pair to replace my last brown pair, which still looks great but I can tell the soles aren’t doing their jobs anymore. I was disappointed in these. They are very tight below my toes and the natural colored rubber over the toes just looks dowdy. I have the exact pair in black and love them, but these are going back.

I do really like Keens, but these shoes reminded me of men's work boots - not feminine at all. I will be returning.
