I typical bring this with me to work everyday. It hold my surface book, tablet, power bank, and a few other nik naks. It holds just what I need without added bulk. The straps are prett slim and stiff but other wise its a great backup to bring to work everyday

Bought as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend (who has an older Timbuk2 bag). He loved it! His words were it looks sophisticated! Which is the reason I got it. He's a graphic designer so it's perfect for meetings or daily travel in the city.

Only wish would be strap to additionally attach a key ring to so your keys don't settle in the bottom of the backpack

Loving this bag! It's got enough pockets to keep what I need separated and organized without having so many pockets and hidden zippers that I can't find what I just placed in there. It's comfortable, holds a lot and still looks good. I kind of want another one.

As a full time student and the occasional traveler, my backpack is one of the things i use the most. After using the same plain black camping bag for 6 years, i thought it was time for a change. The Parkside laptop backpack is exactly what i wanted it to be; a stylish but practical bag with the feel of good quality. The only thing i would add/change is a separate closed-zipped pocket for a water bottle. It was worth paying for the shipping to New Zealand, (which cost more than the bag) and i would do it again and recommend it to others.

Basically, it has everything I need in a pack: It's lightweight, compact with lots of pockets, looks great, made of quality materials and fun to use.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I use this to travel (mostly road trips and that sort of thing) and go to work. I was caught in the rain and noticed that it's rain proof. The contents were intact. I was very impressed. It fit two jackets that had hoodies and a bunch of snacks. It's really amazing. I love it.

I constantly need to bring my laptop around, but not much else -- this is the PERFECT bag. It's super light and definitely holds anything else I might need to bring with me (some papers, journal, snacks, wallet, phone, charger). Provides good protection for the computer and a slim profile -- never bulky or heavy.
Perfect to grab and go.

Great bag for everyday use or for travel. Used it for camping recently but also use it everyday for work. Zippers aren't the best but I have found that they sort of stretch out and are more easy to use overtime. I've gotten lots of compliments on it. Got the green one. Best part for me is how it's sits on my back when I wear it. Sits high on my back and doesn't feel like a struggle even when it's full.

I was looking for a back pack that didn't make me look like I was in 7th grade. I mean, every bag this style is going to have that look, there's no way around that. No matter what people say. but i think this one has less of that look. Its casual. It has a lot of storage and its light and not bulky. I took this on my business trip and carried it as my carry on on the plane and it fit perfectly underneath the seat. It has a lot of pockets for whatever you want to carry with you along with a spot for my 15 inch macbook. This has been the best purchase of mine in a long time. Super happy. The only complaint I have which is a stupid one, but the bottle opener on the strap doesn't really work when you're wearing the bag. Seems kinda like a pointless add on. But whatever. It's not that often I'm "on the go" and wanna crack open a beer.

I got this because my laptop is 17", so it's hard to find a bag that fit it that wasn't humongous--and this backpack is perfect! I use it for school and other errands. It doesn't have a lot of pockets, but I really like the (albeit not padded) elevated laptop slot. One tiny thing I don't love is that when I'm on a bus or train and I have to hold on to a bar above my head, the thick strap really digs into my neck and arm. Other than that, it's a great bag!

I needed to go back and use an old school design since I found the classic messenger to be slightly heavy when transporting my laptop to and from the office. One strap classic messengers places the weight on one shoulder too much and it became uncomfortable at times. This backpack is a gem! The structure of the backpack evenly balances the weight across both shoulders. The back pack is also lightweight itself. I am surprised at how light the pack is when I use it to carry my laptop. The park side backpack is lightweight with sufficient padding to protect the laptop!

20 year commuter. I've had all the popular brands before so when the strap on my last backpack broke I was planning to order one with a rubber bottom. I like the idea of that sitting on the ground in wet conditions, like the train floor with melted snow.
I could not find one so I looked at TimBuk as I've seen people with the messenger bags. Saw this Parkside and liked that someone mentioned it is smaller than most back packs - which is true. I see people carrying these over sized backpacks and glad I'm not. This thing is the perfect size for a commuter bag.
If they made this model with a rubber bottom and marketed this a perfect sized city commuter bag it could be very popular item.

I'm a tour guide and I am outside and on the go, A LOT. This is a perfect backpack-- so many pockets, stylish, lightweight and comfortable. The bottle opener on the strap is a great detail! I recommend this backpack and/or brand to anyone.

At first I thought this would be a regular laptop bag. I'm a skeptical person so the price didn't lure me either. But I was told Timbuk2 was used by commuters. So i decided to give it a shot and.. this bag is probably the best purchase I've ever made! I can fill my bag up and it still does not look bulky. The comfort in wearing the bag is amazing. I did not realize a back pack could ever be so comfortable. Overall an excellent decision and worth every penny.

The bag is not as white as it looks in the photo and shows no dirt so far. Zippers are really solid and feel very well made. I upgraded to this after having a Jansport for years, its much better. The straps are computable and I love the laptop strap.

I take it to work. No pen or business card holders, but it's fine. Less pockets to lose things in. Super lightweight.
