The shoes seem to be good quality and with sufficient padding. I had to return the first pair that I ordered as 6W and kept the 6WW that I ordered next. They're still a little snug, and even seem a bit short, but I'll wear them with thin socks and hope they stretch out some.

I was looking for a good walking boot in Europe. Material was a little plastic looking which I could have been ok with, but the fit didn't work. Comfy interior though which was what I was looking for. But the M was a little too wide and the N was too narrow, so they had to go back.

I love the look of these boots and the wide width and soft leather are very comfortable for my foot. Unfortunately, for me, the upper/ankle area is too tight for comfort. If you have slimmer legs than I do, you will likely love these.

These ran a bit small - I usually wear a 9M, and after reading reviews, ordered a 10W. I may have overcorrected - I felt like I wanted it in a 9 and 3/4, but the wider width felt right. I ended up returning them because I did not like how the top hit above my ankles; it felt a little rough. The shoe itself was very cushiony, though, and a pretty good shade of brown.

I ordered these in 12WW. They were not nearly wide enough or me. Sad about this, as I really did like the styling, the flat sole, and the soft leather. I wish they would've been wide enough.

I needed a bootie with no heel to fit my very wide foot, and this one is great! I ordered a half size up in W (see: very wide foot) and it stretched to fit my width no problem. The shoe is very comfortable with my arthritic knees as well. The only downside is that the suede is starting to wear/get shiny in a few places--seems too soon for a shoe of this price. But I'm sure I'll wear these until they fall apart anyway. I've had them for 2 months, wearing them frequently, and they are in great shape otherwise.

My feet are exceedingly hard to fit properly. I wear a size 10.5 so I’m typically relegated to sizing up or sizing down. Those of us who wear a 10.5 know the crazy, bizarre fact that most shoe brands don’t even bother making our size. It’s so odd! Most women’s shoe brands go make whole and half sizes up to a size 10 and then you’re out of luck. Softwalk DOES make size 10.5 so I’m eternally grateful for that. However, these weren’t available here in a size 10.5 so I bought an 11 WW. My feet are only slightly wide. I had a broken ankle that never set right so I’m dealing with one ankle that is severely pronated. As a result, I’m having terrible problems with fit. Although my feet are only ever so slightly wide (I can wear a regular width in many but not all brands of shoes) I tend to need a wider shoe due to my ankle problem. I found these boots to be sized very generously. I could’ve definitely sized down to a 10 and also didn’t need a WW. A 10W or 10.5W would’ve been better for my needs. That being said, these are VERY comfortable - even for someone like me where most shoes cause some discomfort. The leather is very soft - glove-like in fact. These didn’t rub or cause any blisters. I’ve since worn these without socks or hose underneath and even then I ran around 100% pain free. Impressive! I chased after my extra rambunctious 3 yo wearing these and they were insanely comfy. Wow! I do think the sole is a bit thin and these could be cuter. But they don’t look cheap or particularly dowdy and that’s rare w/ a wide width comfort style shoe or boot. As someone who loves shoes and fashion I have to say wide width, comfort style tend to be the ugliest shoes on earth. It’s so depressing! I wish shoe designers would realize this doesn’t have to be! With all my sizing issues and my foot injury (and a toddler to run after!) I really just want my shoes to be unobtrusively plain so I can build the rest of my outfit around them. If a shoe designer would focus on designing a collection with a basic ballet flat, a wedge, a gladiator sandal, etc where each style comes in a vast range of sizes and widths and where each is comfortable and devoid of silly embellishments, stitching, or other cheap looking details, where each style is made of quality materials (like this buttery soft leather) I’d buy one in every color! For now, these will do. They’d definitely look and maybe feel a bit better with a slightly thicker sole. I wish I had sized down slightly too. But they are beautifully comfortable and also nowhere near as hot as the Uggs I tend to wear half the year. So kudos to Softwalk for making these comfortable and available in lots of sizes and widths! I’ll buy these in other colors if they go on sale.

Loved the style of the shoe, but I wear a 7-1/2 Wide size...and it was too tight in the angle.

I was concerned about the size after reading previous reviews, but found them to be very true to size and width. When I first felt them I couldn’t believe how soft they were. They were so comfortable right from the start and the first day I wore them to work I was on my feet for 9 hours without any problems. They are SO comfortable. They do have a large arch, which I was concerned about but it felt good all day. They are not the most stylish shoes I’ve ever bought, but I’m done with uncomfortable shoes and sore feet, so I’m very happy with this purchase!

These boots were very comfortable, but they weren't the style that I was looking for to wear with leggings, so I'm returning them.

These boots fit well enough, but the treads are not substantial enough to make me feel secure about wearing them in any sort of serious weather. I live in RI where anything goes. Gotta be prepared!

First I ordered a wide since many reviews said this boot ran narrow. My feet swam in them! The heel was wide, and I couldn't walk without them flopping all over so they went right back jnto the box to be exchanged for a medium (which is what I normally wear). The mediums felt tight but the leather is SO soft, I'm sure they will stretch quickly. The only concern I have is that the side of my foot, like along my little toe, actually falls past the edge of the boot so I can feel the hard edge of the boot. Otherwise they are very confortable, length is true to size. I have VERY sensitive feet so it's a nightmare for me to find a shoe that I can wear, as I can't break shoes in, it is too painful. These are stiff in the sole, but just walking around the house a little I can already feel them starting to bend easier. I don't think I'll be able to wear a very heavy sock with these because the medium is just a little narrower than what a medium would normally feel like but they are so comfortable inside you could almost wear them without socks. I will test them around the house a little more before I make a decision whether to keep them or not considering the trouble I have buying shoes or boots, these are the closest to feeling broken in that I will ever find right out of the box! The latter is so very soft I have to wonder how long it will last without wearing through but it's rare to find such a comfortable boot first time you put it on so these will probably be a keeper. What I really need is a whipped between medium and wide but there is no such thing so I would rather stretch them out a bit than have them flopping around my feet. I got the dark brown and it is a really nice rich color. The zippers work easily too and they don't seem to rub at all on the ankle. If you are between a wide and a medium I would suggest sticking with the medium unless you intend to wear really really heavy socks with the wide. I could not have even done that because the heel was too wide and sloppy. Overall this is a nice boot, and is a flat heel which is very hard to find.

I had originally tried the 11W and they felt a full size smaller, so I decided to try the 12W. They almost worked. Unfortunately, my little toes were up against the sides just enough that it would be a constant bother. Too bad, because otherwise it was very comfortable as far as support!

I'm an 11W, and these felt like I should get a 12W. I'm currently debating whether to try it out because the risk is it'll be _too_ big in places. Otherwise, it felt like it would be excellent arch support if I weren't focused on how tight they were, so if you have narrow feet, you might be perfectly fine with them.

Darn! Really cute. I have bunions, and even in an extra wide, my toes were scrunched. Overall, felt a bit stiff too. May try 1/2 size larger when it's available.

So cute - and probably comfy, but ran a little small. I'm reordering in a larger size.

Wonderfully soft leather, but a bit snug across instep. If between sizes, order up a half size. Moderate support in arch.

This shoe is very comfortable, but runs big. I think it would be a great walking shoe, looks like the photo, and the quality is accurate to the image.

I needed moderately dressy ankle boots to wear with black tights and a skirt in cold weather and these fit the bill nicely. They have a little support and don't look too clunky with a skirt. I especially like the way they hug the ankle and add some stability walking outside in wet weather. They are not snow boots or rain boots, but strike a nice balance when you need something for the elements that looks a bit nicer. The arch support is minimal, but the fit is great (glad they come in wide, ample toe room). Size up a bit, if you expect to wear thicker socks. I normally wear a size 9, but usually get 9.5 in boots.

Felt comfortable and my feet didn't hurt after wearing them for a few hours. This is the first time I have worn any boots in many years.

These are so comfortable for boots, which I usually find to be very uncomfortable. They are lightweight and the leather is like butter.

These boots are cute but the back of the boot has a plastic or cardboard like backing that cut into my heel.

very comfy, cute enough given they are flats. I needed a double wide, and usually I'm just wide. I have bunions, hammer toes, orthotics for high arches and a neuroma, so I am always very happy to find something that fits and doesn't bother any of my issues! can't comment on arch support because I take the insoles out.

I wrote a 5-star review about this before, but I'd like to revise it to a 4-star. I love these boots, and it is difficult for me to find comfortable shoes, but I wore a hole in both heels after just one year. Granted, I wore them 5 out of 7 days for 6 months, but I have worn Naot shoes that much, and it took 5 years before I wore them out. Six months, even of pretty constant wear, seems not enough. The rubber sole needs to be a bit more durable.
