I was disappointed by these boots. I ordered my usual size in Sorels, but they felt a half size too big (with wool socks on). My heel slipped a lot and my foot didn’t feel secure. The tongue is weirdly made. It stops at least an inch before the top of the boot shaft. This is a problem for me (when the boot is already shorter), as snow could easily come in the front of the boot. These were less attractive in person than they were in the photo, too.

Needed something for my first Northern Colorado winter. Ordered my regular size 9 and the fit is fine. Was out shoveling snow, feet weren't cold, kept dry and no issues slipping on the slushy area.

Comfortable, light weight, stylish winter boot for our winter months in WI. I feel because of the light weight the outer bottom boot is a thin layer not so big and cluncky like other boots. We've had snow and very cold temps recently, as well as mud and melted snow. These boots have done just fine. I would recommend.

Super cute but unfortunately had to return. Based on reviews, I ordered an 8.5 rather than my usual 8 and fit was perfect for my foot, but the back dug into my heel. I’m on the short side with a wider calf so unfortunately this is a common fit challenge for me. Rather than risk it, I exchanged these for the Sorel out and about conquest boot and absolutely love them! These weren’t the right fit for me, but I’d still recommend trying them in a heartbeat. And as usual, Zappos is the best!

These are cute and fairly comfortable but the weird part is that there is a big gap in the front where the white fur part doesn't meet together. Maybe if you have very small calves this might work? Otherwise I feel like the snow would just go in the front.

I'm usually a 9.5/10 and the 9.5 fit fine, minus the tight toe area. Where the rubber begins and to the toes was so tight my feet started getting numb. I guess they may loosen but its unlikely with the hard rubber especially if it's cold out. In addition to that, the tongue on the boot was strange. It folded over on itself and didn't actually go as high as the boot itself. I guess it would look fine if you kept them loose but I am buying these for a trip to Alaska in January. If they were less than $100, I'd consider keeping them but for the price I don't think it's worth it.

Let me start by saying I wear a women's size 8.5 WIDE in regular shoes. I ordered these boots in an 8.5 regular (medium) width and they fit perfectly. The tongue of the boot is attached to the upper so no water or snow can get in. The upper is very flexible and comfortable. I like that the insulated liner is completely removable for drying and cleaning purposes.

A Minnesotan tall girl (6'0) perspective - I typically wear an 11 or 11.5 shoe, so I ordered a 12 to allow room for thick winter socks. Plus, I've tried 11 boots in Sorel and they're a tight 11 and unfortunately, Sorel doesn't make 11.5 a size option. A 12 is truly quite comfortable as well as functional - no raised heel to slip on the ice and break an ankle. I really appreciate the wide toe box, since my poor summer toes that are used to being free are now confined to a shoe. This is a pretty straight forward winter boot that I fully expect to live up to the description. I haven't used them yet, but I'll update my review if there are any issues like slippery rubber sole, not warm enough, or not actually waterproof. The only part of this boot I'm slightly concerned about is that the tongue has no insulation, but is layered (on the inside) with a waterproof lining. Must wear with taller, thicker, warm socks. They rise about low/mid calf, which is good for quick on/off. If I'm really trekking through some deep drifts, I'll probably add gators or snow pants on top of them.

These boots are so comfortable and warm. I'm a hockey mom and wear these in the rink when it's super cold and never have cold toes.

I had tried the Sorel Slimpack II several times always returning them because the toe box was SO narrow, even in a full size and a half up from my normal size 9. I love Sorel but was fully ready to try something else if the Winter Carnival boots were also too narrow and small. I am SO glad to report they’re great. I did order a size up to allow for heavy winter socks (northern Illinois), and they are definitely geared for handling cold. The tongue is gusseted, so tromping through the snow this winter with my kids won’t be problematic. I wish they had the aesthetics the Slimpack has (quilted top, suede uppers, color combinations for the black boot with the red laces), but overall, I’m much happier with this boot comparatively. And I am SO glad Sorel hasn’t redrawn everything to be so narrow!

These are the best looking snow shoes ever!! I love the red color!! The quality of the upper is outstanding and there’s room for warm socks. You can beat Sorel quality and the red upper is the icing on the cake! Love these boots.

Great boots for the snow. Did not fall once in the snow because of these boots.

Love Sorel - needed a new black pair. I live in the midwest we get lots of snow! Also, have a cottage in ski country - I wear Sorel all the time. Great investment

i liked these boots and wanted to keep them, but they rubbed my big toe. i had tried a different size but although it felt comfy almost everywhere, it also rubbed my big toe. and this was just walking around the living room -- i don't think it would have improved outside in the winter. it's not leather so i doubt it was going to 'give' a little. i liked that the inside gusset or tongue came up fairly high so it would keep out snow from getting my socks wet. but it's just not going to work to be rubbing against my toe/toenail. there wasn't any noticeable arch support, but it was 'felt' and probably would have adjusted to my foot leaving a natural arch support. i'm just sorry it didn't work out.

These are very warm & comfy. Sorel discontinued my favorite winter boots that I've had for years, and it was finally time to replace them. These are clunkier/heavier than my old ones and not quite as easy to just slip on & off, but they are excellent boots overall. Sorel, please bring back the original felt cozy bou!!

The shoe is probably a little. Offer than I expected, it hits the back of my heel in an awkward way but overall I love it and it’s very warm!!

Sad to return these. These boots felt true to size and were very cute, but they were clunky and not comfortable.
