After reading many other reviews on line I decided to order a size up from my average shoe size of an 8... So happy I did. The 9 fits great with a thin to med sock. I've only warn them once on a fair day but I think they will be perfect for rain or snow especially on city sidewalks. People mentioned there wasn't much arch support and I agree but it's not anything like your typical "rubber" rain boot that makes my Arches ache in 20 min. So if arch support is like key, order a dif Sorel style. They offer Plenty of great boots with better arch support. But if you are like me and think these babies are cute as heck and you have been debating these guys for months like I have, order them today! You won't be sorry!

I like these, the toe does stick up a bit but it's cute. They run a full size small so size up. i'm sending these back because I thought a 1/2 size would be enough but it's not.

These boots look very nice, nicer than online, or even on the video. However, I am exchanging them for a larger size, plus something was wrong with the left foot. (The insole had a bulge up at the toes... weird.) Hopefully, no defect on the larger size I will order. FYI, I have never had to order a larger size before, even on other Sorel boots.

Rugged, dependable, perfect for a casual rainy day. The back of the ankle is a little irritating, so I always wear socks that come over the top of the boot. Otherwise is super comfortable

As previous reviewers have said, these boots run small. I am solidly a size 8.5. I ordered a 9. The shoes fit decently in length, but the top of the shoe is very low- from the toe to where the leather and rubber meet. This boot would probably fit someone with a low, flat foot, not for those with a high instep.

Awesome shoe for winter in NYC running around but reviews are true lining in shoe is tight. Normally wear true 8 need 81/2 or maybe 9 with thick socks! Great looking with sweats or jeans. Going to put smaller comfort insole in.

Definitely fit too small. At least 1/2 size too small. I feel like they're going to rub my ankles raw without tall socks. Otherwise, great quality.

Super cute, however, they felt a size too small. I always wear a 7.5, which is what I ordered. They fit with very light socks on, but they would have been too small to wear anything thicker than a gym sock. I'll trade for the next size up! They are cute.

They run small. I usually wear a 9 or 9.5 , I ordered 10s of these boots and they fit perfectly.

These run at least 1 size too small. I am a solid 7. My friend who wears a 5.5 - 6 could wear the pair I ordered. If you are ordering please take this into consideration. Otherwise, I like the boot and ordered in a larger size.

Love these boots so far, definitely will be wearing these a lot this fall/winter! sizing is a bit tricky. I normally wear a 7 1/2 in every closed toed shoe, had to order a whole size up. If you only plan on wearing thin socks with these you would only need to go up a half size. But overall a great boot!

These are so cute! I would recommend ordering half a size up to allow room for thicker socks. I have pretty narrow feet and they fit my foot width perfectly. I would recommend these shoes!

Cute and practical for fall, early and late winter (not for deep snow though). Sorel buyers take note -- this particular style runs right on for sizing if not just a bit snug! This being my 3rd purchase of Sorels in the past year I have found that Sorels usually run big, but not the Out 'n About! I am a size 6.5/ 7. In the Joan of Arctic I have a size 6 and in the Slim Pack Shortie Size 6 fits. However, in the Out 'n About the size 6 was too small. I returned for a size 7 which fit pretty perfect. I've only had them for a few hours, but if they are live up to their name as the others have done, they will be a new favorite this fall and winter!

Order a full size up! I'm a 7.5. My Sorel snow boots are 7s, and they're almost too big. So, I was hesitant to follow the advice of reviews for these shoes, which suggested a full size up. Initially, I ordered an 8, and it was too small in the toes. The 8.5 fits just fine. There is no ankle support, but we're not buying these for ankle support. We're buying these because they're cute, and we can wear them on wet n' slushy days.

I usually wear a 7 or 7.5. After reading reviews I went with the 7. They were too small. The boot is cute except for one thing:I couldn't get over the way the toe is turned up. If they weren't like that they would be worth re-ordering in my size.

I got these for a trip to rainy Sitka, and I love the look. The downside is that they seem a little small and Zappos does not have the next size up anymore. I ordered 6½ (I usually wear a 6 in most shoes) so I could wear heavier socks to extend the wear time here in Alaska. I would not consider these winter shoes, just cute rain shoes, they just have a canvas-like lining. The fit is loose in the ankle and opening, at the same time it took a little effort getting them on. I do not mind the loose fit, I wear clogs a lot and these wear similarly in the back. The laces do not close enough to tighten the opening much, so if you do not like looser shoes these may not be your favorites. I will definitely keep these and just make them work, they are not so small to be uncomfortable. They are too cute to give up on!

Super cute! Perfect in between footwear. Cute enough to wear out and not a clunky as a big heavy winter boot. Not warm enough to be my only boots in a Mn winter but more durable and weather proof than a normal pair of shoes. I own a pair of Sorel Trivoli boots in a size 7 and they fit me well. I ordered these in the same size, 7, and I could barely get them on my feet without a sock even! Ordered a 7.5 and 8. Hoping one of those work because they are so darn cute. Also, hoping they are a bit wider too so I can wear them with a thicker sock.

Really good looking shoe, but not enough depth for a cork orthotic. Also, I only wore them for a couple minutes, but I suspect the top of the boot might have rubbed the back of my ankle raw over an extended period of time.

This is my fourth pair of Sorel boots, they are my absolute favorite boot brand. I loved that these could be work with either skinny jeans or a skirt...super cute! They lack support, but nothing a pair of insoles can't fix. I had originally ordered a 6 which is my usual size, but ended up having to exchange for a 6.5. I would recommend sizing up a 1/2 size. The elk color is perfect and will go with pretty much everything in my closet! Thank you Zappos for sending me my exchange hassle free, arrived within 1 business day of the exchange. Excellent customer service as always!

These are super cute. I was worried they'd be clunky looking, but they look good on my feet. I have flat feet and wear a size 10 and these are a little big - by about a half size. I don't mind though, because, once I put on my think winter socks, they'll fill right out. There really isn't much insulation in these, so I'll def need the room for the warm socks. Traction is awesome. Wore them in icy rain the other day and I didn't slip at all. Also, they kept my feet absolutely dry. Got them in black, but it looks more like a deep charcoal grey to me. I don't mind though. They look good with my skinny jeans. Felt a little floppy when I wore them all day at work though. I'll prob also put in some arch support.

Was excited for these to arrive but they were a size to small. I'm a true size 6 and couldn't get my foot into them

Very cute shoes but the soles are very stiff. Width too narrow for my feet. I don't feel like walking in them at all. Had to send them back.
