We received these as a gift for our toddler. At first I loved them on her, she loved them, too. After the SECOND WEAR I noticed that the soles on both boots had separated from the bottom. The left one separated at the toe, the right one had completely separated at the toe, heel, and started to separate on the inside of the foot. I tried talking to a rep (Jana) via chat and she informed me that because they were a gift I could attempt to file a claim but it wasn't guaranteed. What? Why ask if they were a gift in the warranty claim then if it's not viable? Can Timberland no longer guarantee or stand by their products? I am SO upset about this. My family has always loved our "Timbies" because of how durable they've always been. We've been able to wear them in all seasons. The fact that the quality has very obviously gone down SIGNIFICANTLY is pathetic. You seemingly can't find well made boots anymore. So much for being a trusted brand. Don't waste your money on something that is now merely a "fast fashion" item.

Barley lasted 2 years without the sole undoing itself from the leather. The sole still got alot of thread left too but its looking like the whole sole is going to unglue itself. I bought boots from here and it used to last me years without the boot sole coming off. These are looking like it'll come off in half a year. I will be looking for a different brand of work/hiking boot since the quality has dropped.

I had the White Ledge boots and wore them to falling apart! The perfect work boot! Decided to try these and can barely walk after 10 minutes! Extremely painful on ankle bone but since they are worn cannot return. What a waste! The white ledge were super comfortable and perfect! These look nice but are a huge no

After 20 minutes walking in wet grass socks wet. These are my 4th pair of white ledge boots. The 1st 2 pairs were faultless until the soles purely wore out. The next type were OK and waterproof but goretex web detached before boots wore out, but I wear them all day everyday, for gardening, diy and general work. The new walking boots leak from new, not in heavy weather, just wet grass walking the dog.

Okay, so when I got these boots, I was super excited about them. I have had a pair of Timberland boots since high school that have served me well, and these looked just as good as those ever did. I took them out for a backpacking trip: 11 miles in and 11 miles out. Okay... that was too much for their first trip, but the aftermath was horrible! It took about 3 weeks for my ankles to recover. The padding is so thick around the ankles that it actually caused Achilles Tendonitis from the lack of flexibility and stiffness. Once my ankles were back to normal, I tried them again. This time, I made sure to keep the boots loose, since I really wanted these boots to work for me. But, only about 5 minutes into the trail (no elevation) I had to swap them for the sandals I had along with me, because the pain had returned just by wearing the boots. The only solution I can see is tossing these. Better luck with another boot. The boots are great, but they've got one serious Achilles heel.

Previous lifelong timberland boot owner. First picture is my prior pair that I hiked and backpacked in from 2018, hundreds of miles on them. They were due for a replacement so I ordered same model, same size, which is the second picture. I took them for a practice hike of about 4 miles and found their sizing had changed and the size 13s were now significantly larger with my feet sliding in them on downhill sections. Timberland would not process the return even after I cleaned them, zero scuffs and no dirt. Will never buy a timberland product again. Previous lifelong timberland boot owner. Bought a pair of Danner boots that fit properly and am very happy with that brand.

I wore this boot about three times to hike flat trails in the nearby botanical garden and one of the top hooks that hold the lace broke off completely. Worse, when I wrote to Timberland asking for a replacement, they refused citing the usual warrant expired excuse. You would think they would stand by their product given that I hardly used it but they chose to save themselves some money but not replacing an obviously defective product. There are many awesome boots out there from different manufacturers. Stay away from this one.

Shoes are junk. The rubber on the toes is peeling off after only a month. I wear them M-F while I drive truck for work. Not worth the price you pay. Not buying Timberland junk anymore. One month!

There is a lack of padding that causes the closure eye to dig into my ankle. Very painful.

Terribly uncomfortable. Don't know if mine were defective or not, but where the tongue attached to the side of the boot by the laces, there was a protrusion that poked into my foot.

The left boot was excruciatingly uncomfortable. It was a flaw in the way they were made. The right boy was actually very comfortable.

I wore these boots for about 3 months when they started coming a part. At first they are comfortable the water proofing is mediocre. They didn't even last a year before the sole wore out and started separating from the leather. The insole wore down also. If you plan on using these more than once a week don't waste your money..

This is the fourth pair I've have bought. These new soles are giving me hot spots on my big toes and the balls of my feet. I'll go back to my old pair with the worn out stitches.

Product is advertised a waterproof. They are most certainly not waterproof. I would say they are water resistant. 3rd day of wearing them at work I had to step in a large puddle while getting out of my rig at work and both boots had water in them within seconds. The water line never reached the laces of the boot. Anyone that works in the elements will tell you wet feet will make your day miserable. Not recommend if you want your feet to stay warm and dry though out your day.

First, these are offered in a EE wide size on the site, but they aren't actually EE, they are just marked W and seem to be E wide at best. Second, the sole has started separating from the shoe in less than a month. They have probably been worn less than 40 hours total and are already falling apart. Absolutely terrible quality.
