I've had these for three weeks and for the first two they were fantastic. I love the look and they were super comfortable. This last week, however, the metal shoelace attachments have started to dig into my feet making walking unbearable. Every step is a shot of pain. I've tried wearing them both loose and tight and it's the same problem either way.
I almost bought a second pair but I'm glad I held off. Went from my favorite shoes ever last week to probably the worst I've ever had this week...Also the logo is already fraying off the tongue but that I could live with.

These are great looking boots and they seem to be well constructed. However, I need a wide, not extra wide, just normal 2E. The 2E's for these boots are not wide at all. They are medium. I find this with most companies, that the wide versions are really medium. Do these companies think that peoples' feet are shrinking? I am at a loss to find boots labeled "wide" that are actually wide. So these are terrible for not being wide when they are labeled wide. If your foot is anything wider than what the mythical "average" person is, then look elsewhere.

Ordered online, big mistake for shoes. Very uncomfortable. I would have known that at a store.

This seemed like a good boot but at the top of each one on the inside there is a seam that rubbed on my ankle bone just enough to cause me to return. Not sure if I have extra big ankles but it's never been a problem with other boots.

I was surprised (being that they are Timberland) how cheap a feel these boots had. This sole made me feel like I had sneakers on. Hardly and under support under the balls of the feet. I returned them and went with a pair of Oboz. I guess that is why they are inexpensive. They aren't uncomfortable, but the sole is too thin.

The top of the left shoe is dented in the toe area. A rigid layer crushes your toes and can't seem to be fixed. I don't know if this is a defect in the shoe or if it was damaged in shipping. Either way, they are nearly unwearable. My previous Timberlands were great.

These boots only lasted 6 months. I absolutely loved these boots while they lasted, they were extremely comfortable. They were waterproof enough that I could walk through creeks and ag. fields without getting my feet wet, but breathable enough to be comfortable wearing them working 12 hour days in 100 degree heat. I loved these boots, and worked them hard, but I bought Timberlands because I thought they were good quality. A good quality boot lasts more than 6 months though, despite their comfort, I will not be buying Timberlands again, they just do not hold up to the rigors of hiking and working outdoors like a pair of hiking boots should.

For a hiking boot they are very thin/lite .Not sure how they are going to hold up thru hiking rough trails and climbing rocks. But my first impressions are way too lightweight and thin to be a good hiking boot.

This is my second pair. First pair wore like iron, in fact still wear them on occasion. Liked them so well bought a second pair about 2 years ago. The seams on the new boots are breaking free already. My old boots' seams are all still fine, but on the new ones the threads that hold the seams is breaking (rotting?) and the seams are coming free.

I have worn Timberland boots for over 25 years. These are comfortable as usual but after only 4 months they look more like I have been wearing them for 4 years .

These were great boots, they felt comfy and looked great. Good support under your feet. The bad.. narrow, even normal socks are tight near the toes. Really loud on smooth floors. I returned these as I didn't want to wake the neighbors when walking in my house.

I find the trend in timberlands are that they run short and narrow. This fell into that category.

I wore these boots to work for only three days and the rubber on the toe started to peel away. Comfortable boots but not durable enough to be used as work boots.

I have been buying Timberland leather hiking boots to ride on my motorcycle forever, this is the last time. The boots prior to this failed in 2 seasons, I don't ride in Winter, its Utah. Prior boots the leather just tore at the ball of my foot where the leather meets the sole. the reason was leather is so THIN!
It used to be Timberland used thicker better quality leather. As soon as I opened the box I noticed this leather feels and looks even thinner. The fit is good Styling is good and this wont need breaking in as the leather is thinner than my tshirt. As Usual Zappos was awesome with less than a day shipping. I'll keep these & hopefully they last thru this summer.

Way smaller than marked. Unbelievably narrow. I can't stress that enough. Also, they are very uncomfortable. It feels like I'm standing on cement in bare feet, so I bought jell inserts which made them even tighter. I forced myself to wear them, hoping they would stretch. so it's too late to return them. If you have wide feet buy something else - don't trust the sizing info for this shoe.

I wore these exactly 12 times. Collectively about 30 hours of use. Always cleaned afterwards. Stitching already coming undone on the outer seams. I was hoping for a hiking boot that would actually be worth more, these ARE NOT WORTH BUYING! I'm better off going to Walmart and getting their pair that will last longer. Buyer beware!

We received these as a gift for our toddler. At first I loved them on her, she loved them, too. After the SECOND WEAR I noticed that the soles on both boots had separated from the bottom. The left one separated at the toe, the right one had completely separated at the toe, heel, and started to separate on the inside of the foot. I tried talking to a rep (Jana) via chat and she informed me that because they were a gift I could attempt to file a claim but it wasn't guaranteed. What? Why ask if they were a gift in the warranty claim then if it's not viable? Can Timberland no longer guarantee or stand by their products? I am SO upset about this. My family has always loved our "Timbies" because of how durable they've always been. We've been able to wear them in all seasons. The fact that the quality has very obviously gone down SIGNIFICANTLY is pathetic. You seemingly can't find well made boots anymore. So much for being a trusted brand. Don't waste your money on something that is now merely a "fast fashion" item.

Barley lasted 2 years without the sole undoing itself from the leather. The sole still got alot of thread left too but its looking like the whole sole is going to unglue itself.
I bought boots from here and it used to last me years without the boot sole coming off. These are looking like it'll come off in half a year. I will be looking for a different brand of work/hiking boot since the quality has dropped.

I had the White Ledge boots and wore them to falling apart! The perfect work boot! Decided to try these and can barely walk after 10 minutes! Extremely painful on ankle bone but since they are worn cannot return. What a waste! The white ledge were super comfortable and perfect! These look nice but are a huge no

After 20 minutes walking in wet grass socks wet. These are my 4th pair of white ledge boots. The 1st 2 pairs were faultless until the soles purely wore out. The next type were OK and waterproof but goretex web detached before boots wore out, but I wear them all day everyday, for gardening, diy and general work. The new walking boots leak from new, not in heavy weather, just wet grass walking the dog.

Okay, so when I got these boots, I was super excited about them. I have had a pair of Timberland boots since high school that have served me well, and these looked just as good as those ever did.
I took them out for a backpacking trip: 11 miles in and 11 miles out. Okay... that was too much for their first trip, but the aftermath was horrible! It took about 3 weeks for my ankles to recover. The padding is so thick around the ankles that it actually caused Achilles Tendonitis from the lack of flexibility and stiffness.
Once my ankles were back to normal, I tried them again. This time, I made sure to keep the boots loose, since I really wanted these boots to work for me. But, only about 5 minutes into the trail (no elevation) I had to swap them for the sandals I had along with me, because the pain had returned just by wearing the boots.
The only solution I can see is tossing these. Better luck with another boot. The boots are great, but they've got one serious Achilles heel.

Previous lifelong timberland boot owner. First picture is my prior pair that I hiked and backpacked in from 2018, hundreds of miles on them. They were due for a replacement so I ordered same model, same size, which is the second picture. I took them for a practice hike of about 4 miles and found their sizing had changed and the size 13s were now significantly larger with my feet sliding in them on downhill sections. Timberland would not process the return even after I cleaned them, zero scuffs and no dirt. Will never buy a timberland product again. Previous lifelong timberland boot owner. Bought a pair of Danner boots that fit properly and am very happy with that brand.
