I wear them every day for work and also on hikes. I had bad feet and these are the only things that let me keep moving. I've tried so many others and these work for me. These shoes have been around the world and I honestly hope they never stop making them.

My son needed boots for hike with college buddies, and I bought them as a gift. There was no break in period as this was planned as a last minute get together before a wedding event. The group summited two, 4000 footers in the white mountains of NH and he had no foot issues (blisters, discomfort). I have huge age related foot problems and totally believe you need to take care of your feet before you need to or even have to think about it. Buy these boots- quality, support and an annuity for your future foot health.

I use this boots to hike and they have a very good grip! They are also very comfortable and doesn't let you be fatigued. I really like them!

Worked great for me in Acadia

I bought a pair in a store over 5 years ago, wore the tread out on them and needed another pair. I bought these as a replacement and they are almost identical. Feather weights! You will be amazed at how light these are compared to traditional boots. I've worn them a couple weeks, and they are as good as I remember. Bonus, they are not squeaking on the floors at work like my others brands have. Different rubber bottom? Not sure.

I'm a big guy ( 6'4" and 320 lbs) and these are some of the most comfortable boot I have ever owned. I'm on my feet all day and have yet to feel it in my back. I would definitely recommend these boots!
