Nice material but had to return it was way to small on arms and didnt zip but I have a northface that's xxl and it fits this one doesnt run to size

This seems like a very, very warm coat. It is gathered at the waist & it was kind of big on me so it was more like it was gathered at the hips & looked funny. If it fit you right, this would be very warm & could be pretty stylish. Seems like it needs to be tried on.

I don't fit in any size... small fit perfect from waist to down but little unbreathable from chest ....Medium is loose on me... I love the looks but it didn't fit me in S Or M size.

I was excited to order the new taupe color when I saw the camo lining in one of the images and disappointed when the product I received didn't have camo lining. You should remove that image from the product page to eliminate confusion.

I love the idea of a northface coat that goes in a bit at the waist, but this coat juts out sharply from the waist giving it an odd shape

This jacket is nice and light but not insulating for walking around in sub 40 degree temperatures. I returned this jacket for a thicker parka because this model was simply too thin to keep me warm

Love the coat but hate the fit at the waist

I love the fit and the detail on waist, but I've had troubles with the zipper,it get stocked easily with fabric, I bought it in grey color and it gets dirty easily ( and I'm a really careful person) . I wash it 2 times already and the feathers don't get back in place

My disappointment about this parka is the feathers that keep coming out of it! That and I find the zippers on the pocket are difficult to zip and unzip, which is frustrating when I only have one hand available. I do love the navy color and shape of this jacket. I typically order a size up in winter jackets, but I found ordering my typical size worked best for this parka as it defined my waist better while still allowing room for layering underneath. The only other change I would make is adding a layer at the wrists with thumb holes so the sleeves stay in place when you put gloves on.

This coat is fairly warm; the day I tried it outside was about 15 degrees and windy. I could feel a cold spot in the back of the coat where it is gathered (to make it more fitted). I was really unhappy with the pockets - the zipper pull is tiny (I would never be able to use it with gloves or mittens on) and I couldn't close the zipper unless I used both hands (one to hold the coat and the other to pull the zipper).

I selected this jacket for my in-laws to give to me as a gift for Christmas. I love love love the fun print and so wish it fit better. The arms fit strangely short, and I don't have particularly long arms (I've never had a problem with jackets before). It's a little snug on the body (though admittedly, I did gain a little weight recently), but that still shouldn't impact the length of the arms (specifically, while the fabric is long enough, the elastic cinching is approximately 1 inch higher up, making the sleeves FEEL shorter than they are...annoying. And then when I extend my arms, the sleeves are well above my wrist bone). I want to exchange my jacket for the Large, but is is no longer available in the color I so dearly love. A total bust of a gift, and I was so looking forward to this jacket for the cold winters in Boston!

Love everything about the coat with the exception of the pocket zippers they stick and this makes them hard to use. I washed the coat as per the directions and there is now what looks like "oil stains" in one localized area causing a darkness so I am now arranging a return and hoping this is a one issue and the replacement will be fine.

This jacket was given to me as a gift in size medium. In nearly all places, I buy my clothes in a size medium, however this jacket felt tight across my shoulders and hips. I ended up returning the jacket and the only reason for not repurchasing was finding the next tier up parka in stores at a local vendor. I greatly enjoyed the style and the length was great. It didn't restrict knee movement or walking other than the tightness across my hips.

I wish it had snap closures so I didn't have to bend way down to zip it every time I go outside! Otherwise I love it!

I love this coat and the color. Unfortunately I was unable to exchange it for a small size since the size I ordered was too big for me. The only option I had was to return it not exchange it. I was very disappointed. I did not return it however I gifted it to my mom whom fell in love with the coat and it fit her perfectly.

I would like it a lot, but down is coming through the outer shell whenever I wear it. Embarrassing and unsightly...

Disappointed with North Face....tried many of their coats, all seemed cheap made, this one was no exception. Zippers get stuck on pockets and front main zipper...and the feathers were coming out...normally these things wouldn't bother me but I treated myself to this coat,it was expensive.Positive? Love the length with leggings and it is warm!

I love the fit and style of the coat. I am just concerned about the 4-5 feathers that have come out of it when I have only worn it twice!

My husband bought this for me. I thought the metropolis parka was much warmer but this had a nicer cut. It depends on how warm you need to be when wearing the jacket.

I love the fit and look of this jacket. It is also very warm and I have tested it out in very cold, light snow weather for walking (not athletic kind of activities). The biggest problem I have with this coat is the static and the shedding. I realized quite quickly when I first wore it that I had things (as in lint, dust, hair, fuzzies, etc.) clinging all over the jacket and also my hair was standing up after I took the coat off from the static. I am hoping there is a way to help this. Also, it sheds tiny feathers quite often or has feathers sticking out of the coat. So, all in all, I'm happy with the warmth, but I do always have a worry in the back of my mind about things sticking to or out from my coat! So, considering the price, even on sale, I'm not sure I would recommend.

love the jacket, but the fit was too small. the next size up was entirely too big. exchanged it for the city metro, which i love love.

I really like this coat, except for the zippers on the pockets. I can barely grab the pull with bare fingers and not at all with gloves on. And, It takes 2 hands to zip because you have to hold down the bottom with 1 hand and pull on the pull with your other hand. Ugh!

I ordered a medium after reading the reviews and taking the size assessment. It is too big in shoulders and hips. I bought the coat online right before xmas and the overnight shipping was free. I also had vip points I used and a $20 promo credit from north face which made this coat under $230 for me. I tried to return online and by phone but I was told that if I returned by mail I would have to forfeit the vip points and promo $ because they do not do even exchange and no stores carry this style coat so it looks like if I want the coat in a different size I am going to have to pay the full price. Disappointed.

I like the coat, but don't like the zipper

I've only had this jacket for about a week or two now, & have notice the stuffing coming out in areas...I have not damaged the jacket so don't understand the tiny holes..I have sent an email asking about the warranty on this jacket, but have yet to hear a response.
