I am very small - only 105 lbs. I got the extra small. it was very tight across the chest. Every other coat that was an extra small fit fine. its going back. Order a size up!

Was very excited to receive the jacket but when it arrived I was disappointed with the colour. I had ordered the graphite grey, which was lovely, but the pink lining that initially attracted me to the coat in the first place was very bright and made the coat too casual to wear with smart clothes. Didn't get to try it out in cold weather but seemed very warm. I've exchanged it for a black one so fingers crossed!

I've been looking for a North Face jacket for 3 years. Every time I went to buy one they were already sold out. I purchased this one because I wanted a coat that was stylish, figure flattering (it has a cinched waist) and WARM. I'm 5'2 and weigh about 112 lbs. Unfortunately the waist hit me at an odd place, making me look bulkier than I really am. The cute bubble hem also didn't help. Unfortunately I had to exchange it for the North Face Miss Metro. I'm sure it'll be cute on others, though!!

This jacket fits very small through the waist and bust. I am 5'7" and a 34 C and it felt very tight in the bust. Sadly returning for a better fit.

Love the coat, but what happened to the white emblem I love showing off that I have a north face but miss the white emblem. Please bring it back!

I do like how light the coat is while still being pretty warm. I got this coat because I wanted something longer but this is too long for me. I am a tiny girl, bought size XS and the coat fits everywhere else but it is just a little too long. The coat took about 2 weeks to arrive too. Not entirely happy with this purchase

It seems to be a nice quality jacket but it had to be returned b/c the sleeves were too long and it has somewhat of a bell shape - flared at the bottom a bit - which was not flattering. Also didn't love the hot pink interior (w/ dark grey exterior). A little pink would have been nice, but it was too much. Will have to keep looking.

Boxy shoulders, sticky side zippers and a humongous bell flare at the bottom ruin an otherwise nice looking coat. I tested last years Metropolis and Transit and those literally poured out feathers, especially the Transit style. As I put this on and began moving around I was pleased to find there were no feathers sticking out. So hopefully The North Face is getting better on quality control. I am sure it would probably be warm enough for cold weather but for the money I don't want to look like Joan Collins circa 1980 on top and Marie Antoinette on the bottom and struggle with sticking pocket zippers.

I purchased the previous version of this coat and although it was warm with an awesome hood for northern Canadian winters, the sleeves were a bit too short and the zipper FAILED after only 1 winter. It would constantly split from the bottom up if you so much as bent forward to pick up a mitt from the snow. Very disappointing considering the COST of the coat. Cheap zippers.

Love how the coat fits but hate how you can see the down right through the Vintage White.

I bought this jacket trying to replace the old one I had that I just couldn't find any more. I definitely tried. I feel like Northface prices are still right up there but the quality just isn't. This coat is not warm. I keep grabbing my old one which the feathers are coming out but decided I didn't care. I miss the detachable hood, the zipper sticks, looks dumpy, and I don't know if I answered the sizing questions correctly because I'm always a small in northface but the small was too small and the medium too big. Not sure if I will keep.

Sleeves felt short, no stretch in shoulders and arms for optimum movement. This is not a comfortable coat. I will be returning it. I like North Face products and styles, however do not find them comfortable. I am 5'4", 130 lbs. While I am in shape, it would be nice if more stretch could be incorporated in the outdoor gear for maximum movement of active people. And please add an inch to the upper arm, shoulder/armpit area. A coat sitting up in the armpit is not comfortable.

I liked the "Frosted Blue". The stock photo is pretty and the same on other screens. Stock photo and description do not match the color of the coat I received. It is GRAY. Iridescence is pink/purple. Lining is thin. Sticky zipper. I like the hood and the warmth. Arrived with 3 dark spots: 2 on a sleeve, 1 near pocket. I'm a bit disappointed in the quality. It isn't anything like my other NF coats.

Not flattering, the waist area looks nice and goes in but then it puffs out below the waist in a way that makes your hips look huge! Returning for a different style.

I should have read all the reviews before purchasing. I agree with some of reviews that the style is weird. It gathers in at the waist in a way that made it flare out too much at the hips. Does not look attractive at all. I typically wear size 2 or small. Maybe this jacket is not made for slim people.

Warm jacket and very stylish. However, it's not worth the purchase. I've noticed the this jacket's material is MUCH less durable compared to the material of the similar style jackets from other brands (e.i. Patagonia). I got this jacket last Christmas, but didn't wear it much until this year. Feathers come out EVERYWHERE, I already have two holes in it, and there are strings sticking out from stitching that is loose in many places. This is all from very gentle use. If I'm planning on doing any sort of activity besides walking to and from my car for work I make sure I put on something else yet my jacket is still a mess. I really wanted to love it, but it's too cheaply made.

Hated the fit of this coat... I do not have a large chest but it was really compressing me at the chest area. I did not like the way the waist looked... it might have benefitted from a built in belt. I did get it in white... maybe that contributed to the unflattering shape lol but ultimately it was uncomfortable. Material was quite nice though and felt warm enough. Sad to return.

This jacket is keeping me warm in this colder than usual So Cal winter. I've had it a few weeks and feathers are coming out of the seams already! My black tops get coated in tiny feathers on the back. Disappointed in the quality! Not what I expect from North Face! I have a cheap Uniqlo jacket that never had this problem!

The coat looks good online and seems to be good quality, but the lower half looks strange and unflattering with the fabric flaring out at the hips like a bell. Exchanged for a different coat.

I bought this for college in Michigan which is pretty cold depending on the day. I've washed it once and after the first wash I could never get the feathers to go back to what they were. My coat is now very very thin and I walk around freezing on campus.

I bought this product due to all the amazing reviews and the high quality of this brand but this jacket has really let me down. Within 2 months of purchasing this jacket little feathers all along the seams started peaking through and actually falling out. Feathers have also punctured through the material in the front of the jacket and come out. Really dissapointed as I had such high hopes for this jacket! I've sent it back to be replaced as I hope it was just a manufacturing default.

I'm so disappointed to be returning this, but the fit was not as I had hoped! This goes in at the waist much more than I'd realized and between this hourglass shaping and the thick puff rolls, it created a ton of extra volume I don't actually have. Wish it was a straighter silhouette.

I was excited to receive this jacket, but when it came I was disappointed. Right away I noticed a smell about it, almost like a paint smell from the color. And the fit wasn't flattering, it fits nice in the waist but then bells out towards the hips. I've owed a few other North Face can't stand and my Sons also do too, but the quality and the fit wasn't what I expected. I will be returning it.
