Cheap zipper. Not with the price!

I love my coat; it was replacing almost the exact same one purchased 6 years ago. BUT the zipper works about 25% of the time. Why can't they get this right? Yesterday was 10 degrees in Chicago and I had my coat on 5 different times and it never zipped once. The day before my luck was better. My previous North Face coat had a similar issue, but it had 5-6 snaps, so if my zipper wasn't working at least I could snap up. This Gotham Parka II has no snaps, so when I can't get the zipper to work it hangs open. It will be a pain to return since I bought on-line. But How different will another one be?

I gave my sister my old north face parka and bought this one. Was surprised by the poor quality. Doesn't keep me warm even with layers when it is less than 30 degrees outside. Also the down keeps coming out and it is difficult to pull back in from inside. I loved my last north face coat so was disappointed in the quality of this one. Seems it was made for late fall New York weather.

I am so disappointed with this jacket! While the body is fairly warm, the wind blows right through the sleeves! To the point that I thought there was a hole in the jacket! This definitely can't handle Canadian winters! For over $300, I expected more from this jacket!

I loved the print of this jacket. it looks black and white on the website but it has some colour sprinkled through the pattern. Very Pretty. I thought this jacket was nice, nothing super special, the hood doesn't unzip, there is not collar on the sleeve to stop snow/wind going up your arm. Overall, I could not keep the jacket. It was so light that it didn't give me confidence that it would really keep me warm in temperatures colder than -20 (celcius) and in Ottawa, you've got to be ready for -40/45 temperatures. Ultimately, the return experience was positive because it was quick but I have a real problem when the NORTH FACE CREW will not pay for return shipping! It cost me $14.00 to send the jacket back, that is absolutely insane and unacceptable for a company as large as this one. I still love the North Face and bought a more expensive jacket - because I love your stuff - but I cannot give this jacket more than 2 stars because I had to pay for my return.

Exchanged this for the Metro. This coat was flared at the bottom and the quality did not seem the best for being a North Face

The jacket itself was nice but I did not like the fit on myself. It has a built in belt right under the chest area that I did not like. Also the pocket zippers are tiny and difficult to open.

I loved the fit of this Jacket. I am 5'7 and 130lbs and a MD was perfect. The bad thing about this jacket is that I was covered in white feathers. The material used to make this jacket was very thin and low quality (not like North Face made in the past). When I washed it the first time after many months, the zipper broke (hand cold washed as advised). It is a shame because this jacket was super warm and very comfy. I returned it.

stuck out all over

I was so disappointed I normally wear a plus size 2x returned for a 3x & was still to small I would have to get a 5x to fit which don't have was a big disappointment

The jacket stains easily and does not wash out even using a stain remover. I sent my jacket in for warranty and was told by North Face they do not cover stains on the fabrics. They would not stand by the product.

I would love this coat and yes I kept it because the second I walked in the store in STL MO I was told..it looks that way, "kinda dirty". Then fix it!

Everyday winter coat for Midwest winter lifestyle.

I loved the look and feel of this jacket. I got it for Christmas 2 weeks ago and have warn it maybe 5 times total and the feathers are poking through in several different places. For the cost of this coat and for it to fall apart this quickly

I read up on this jacket and ordered it after I had gotten another one that wasn't very warm. I was understanding that this would be a true winter coat and even with a sweatshirt on underneath, I could still feel the cold outside. I live in MN, today it is 13 degrees here. Idk, I guess it just wasn't enough good down or something.

I didn't even take this coat out of the shipping box. The online photo of the blue frost showed a pretty light blue. Actual coat has an overwhelming metallic purple/pink hue. The blue undertone is barely visible. Not at all what I was expecting to receive. Very disappointed!

I haven't had the coat for a month and the feathers are coming out everywhere.

I ordered the blue frost new color that came out this season and was disappointed to see the color is not even 5% of what was pictured it is more of two tone color blue purplish not frosty blue so please beware of the color .. the bad review is only for color not being pictured correctly other than that the jacket is warm and perfect

At this point, there is not model North Face long down coat that fits. I think their sizing is off. My experience is that the M is an 8, and the L is a 14. For a winter coat, I would be looking at about a 10 so that I can get a sweater underneath. I just received a Gotham II L as a gift, and I am swimming in it! Hips are wayyyy too big, sleeves to long, whole coat is baggy. Yet I tried the Gotham II M, and it had a tight fit (think sausage). North Face, you need to fix your sizing!

I wanted this as a casual winter coat, but as a plus-size person it wasn't to be. The sleeves were long enough, but not roomy enough around the biceps. Because of this I cannot review any other qualities of the jacket.

Coat runs very very small. I am about a size 18 and the 3x would not even zip. This 3x is more like a size 16.

Was looking for a new winter coat when my coat broke. Had to return because it was too big and wasn't warm enough.

I am currently awaiting the e-gift.
