The coat is warm but I expected it to be more so than it is. I have a NF short jacket with 600 fill that is actually warmer. Especially in the sleeve areas. For the difference in fill, 550 vs 600, I didn't expect to see that much of a difference in warmth.

Nice jacket and pretty warm for a jacket that wasn't too puffy, but I ended up keeping the Marmot instead. This was a thinner profile (so it didn't look as puffy) than the Marmot but that one seemed warmer to me. This jacket also seemed to be bleeding feathers, and I wasn't sure if that would get worse. I prefer a removeable hood, and didn't much like the curved zippers on the side pockets. But still quite a nice jacket.

Love this jacket but really wish the north face logos were white and not black like the old ones and wish it had 600 down but otherwise great jacket.

I really like this coat. The length is perfect. The coat is nice and warm for a NJ winter without being bulky. My only complaints are the zippers, feathers, & hanging thread. The zipper doesn't seem that durable and keeps getting stuck so I hope that it lasts. Feathers are coming out but not enough to worry me, it's just a little annoying. And I've had to cut a number of loose threads all over the coat which just look bad. Overall, I would recommend this coat because it is very warm & comfortable and not at all bulky.

Love the feel and length but wish it had a furry hood like the short version does!! It would just put this jacket over the top.

This product keeps you warm but started shedding after 2 weeks. Stylish and comfortable but doesn't fit true to size

I really like this parka. I was looking for something that would keep me warm and protect me from the horribly cold and WINDY winters we have here. The only things I have to complain about are the pocket zippers and the hood. The zippers are a pain to close when I have gloves on, and I wish the hood was a big larger.

This coat is super comfy and warm. It's cute, but I'm not sure that it's very flattering. It's kind of boxy around the chest and shoulders. I am 5'8" and 150lbs...originally I purchased the large....it was WAY too big. Extremely boxy around the chest/armpit area. It was not flattering at all. The medium looks way better, but it does fit snug and you can't wear a sweatshirt underneath.

I really like the weight and look of this coat. I ordered the grey and loved the color of the outside of the coat but I couldn't get over the hot pink/orange color of the lining. I ended up ordering the same coat in black and kept that one. I wanted something more unique than black but oh well, I'm still happy.

I order this jacket about 3 weeks ago and I'm loving it. It gets super cold in Michigan and this keeps me warm without feeling too heavy and bulky.

This is a great jacket but it didn't work for me. I tried on the navy in sizes xs and small. First off, the color is beautiful and the fabric is cozy - great weight jacket but should be noted I live in seattle and our winters are not as harsh as other regions. My complaint with this jacket is re fit + sizing. I am 5'6" 36b slender/athletic build - def not super thin, would consider myself sort of broad-shouldered w/ long torso vs long legs. the small, to me, was too big - the style of this jacket dictates a more fitted look and the waist + underarm areas were not even close to fitted to my body. I know people like to leave room for layering sweaters in such but I could've easily worn two thick sweaters underneath and still had room to spare. So I tried on the xs - it def fit better at the waist + underarm areas - the way it looks on models in the pics - BUT it was pretty tight across my chest and I could prob only get away with wearing a thin-medium weight sweater underneath. Who knows - my idea of fitted could differ from many since so many of the reviews indicated ppl actually went up a size to accommodate layering. I typically wear a size small in North Face - a medium would've been way too big on me as the small had a loose and very accommodating fit but too large fitting for the style of this jacket. so this style didn't work me and the search for the perfect winter jacket continues!

Love my new coat! It's stylish and warm. I'm tall and have long arms so I was worried about the arm length but it fits nicely.

I purchased this coat because of its style and color (urban navy). It fits nicely and is a good length too. The color is darker than the photo. I only wish the zipper pockets were not inseam type zippers and had larger zipper pulls and that there was greater than 550 down like previous North Face coats. With all that said, it is a good price and a cute coat. Hoping it will keep me warm this winter!

A little puffy in the shoulders, but fits great everywhere else. I'm 5 foot and it's not too long on me.

This is a beautiful coat! I am 5'3", 113 lbs and a small fit just right. This is my personal opinion: it is too long for my height. Would be perfect for a taller person.

I brought this as a gift for my mother and she is very picky. This is the kind of coat she would love

This jacket is great for walking around town in the winter. The jacket is long enough to keep everything warm. The only thing is the zippers on the pockets kind of get stuck when zipping them up and down. Also it hasn't been that cold yet in MD to test out (if it really keeps me warm). I was a little cold when I was in 40 degree weather in it, so it would probably not fly walking around in below freezing temperatures when I used to live in Colorado.

It is a good quality coat. warm and light weight. Hope it could be a bit more stylish.

Was a bit frustrated initially by the zippers on side pockets - they didn't move up/down smoothly. After looking closer, noticed that pockets are curved, so zipper needs to be pulled in a curved direction. A-ha! Problem solved....!

A nice jacket but not what I was expecting. The waist almost looks like it has a belt. I wanted a long jacket with some shape but the belt like middle was a little much and makes the bottom look like more of a A-line skirt. I returned the jacket for a different style long Northface jacket.

The coat fits great, feels comfortable. Hopefully will keep me warm enough for my first Chicago winter :)

I just got this coat a few weeks ago. I love the fit but wish it was just a little longer. I look forward to facing the winter weather with this coat.
