I really like the style and color of the coat, but it was too snug in the stomach and arm area. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

I like everything about this coat (length, weight) EXCEPT the bright white NF lettering on the front and the back. Just that little detail makes it look more sporty than I want. I want a coat that can also be used for slightly dressier occasions. When wearing a dress or nicer pants, I want a coat with a more neutral look. I may return it just for this little reason!

I wear this coat recreationally

This coat keeps me warm while I am out on the playground with my students.

Definitely buy - keeps you really warm and is a nice fit - I bought a small because the medium made my hips look big

The style, color and length of the coat is perfect. The only thing I would say as a con is that about a month after having the coat, the water resistant seal rubbed off in two spots by the zipper. I could not figure out why but I took it back to North Face and they swapped it out for a new one on the spot. I was really happy with the customer service. Overall really cute and warm coat for Rocky Mountain weather.

Bought for my older mother. She had trouble with the double zipper. Also the coat is very bulky to wear need up exchanging to a lighter weight but warm north face that she liked better

Love the jacket!

This was almost the perfect coat for me, but I returned it. I did not like the white North Face logo on the front of the black coat. I have a longer North Face coat, that I love, which as the logo in black on the black coat. I will hope they change it next year and I will definitely buy the coat. It felt great as soon as I put it on. Even better would be if it came in Navy, with the logo in navy. If you do not mind the contrasting logo, I would recommend the coat.

Stylish & great color

The only sizing concern is that the sleeves are a little tight under the arm pits slightly limiting free movement. Otherwise this is a great cost.

A little snug accross the back bu t not restrictive, warm, good hood, like the length to just above knee, will wear for cold weather walks

Bon produit leger et comfortable eviter la pluie

It's very stylish, and I've received many compliments on it. Pretty warm, though I wish it provided more warmth for days of temperatures dipping into the negatives. Another down side is the down feathers that seem to leak out once in a while. But other than that, it's a very nice parka!

This jacket is so warm and comfortable. I'm happy to know that it will last for a long time (part of the reason for paying the expensive price). However the feathers do tend to poke out of the fabric.

I love my parka. It fits perfectly..

Sitting at hockey rink

I tried seceral coats before deciding on this one. I learned about it at a barrel tasting in Napa, the wine maker was wearing this coat in a 50 degree cave all day. It looks great and is perfect for chilly rather than freezing temps. Love this coat!

This coat is perfect aside from the arms being snug at the bent elbow. I have very thin arms and this coat feels tight in a size large or medium.

I am 65 years old and bought the same coat for my 30 year old daughter and she loves it! Just waiting for some cold weather in Connecticut.

I got this coat as a gift because I've always wanted something longer that would look casual but also work in the Iowa wind. It's very lightweight which surprised me, but it's extremely warm. The only thing I did not like is that I got an XL and it does not support more endowed chest areas, as it's a struggle to get enough room to zip. Other than that I have no complaints!

I like to be able to put my hands in my pockets and they are a little awkward to access
