This coat has been great when it has been -10 degrees. It keeps me very warm and comfortable. I just wish there was a way to snap the collar down some. It crowds my face too much.

Thank you santa!... i love this coat! the color called me & i'm glad i answered. 5'6" 136 lbs, med is perfect for me. some reviewers didn't care for the magnets, i love the way they "click together" over the zipper, omg the pocket in the forearm, perfect spot for my glasses! I like having lots of pockets, gloves, keys, mints. We've not had enough rain to really comment on that but, it can't possibly be bad. I'm looking forward to visiting relatives further north just to enjoy my coat in more extreme weather conditions.

Use this jacket for the cold winter days in NYC. Stylish jacket with fine details. The stitching, buttons, pockets, and sleeves are different from the other models. Thanks north face for making a great product.

I live in the land of 10,000 freezing lakes and really need a hard shell/down coat that could last me awhile, keep me nice and toasty and still remain fashionable. I got the bright red coat as I love the color (color appears as it does online) and I live in the city so i thought taxis would see me more clear when crossing the streets. I got a size small and I'm 5' 6", 124lbs and it fits true to size on me. I can wear a sweater under and still can move and groove in it. The only thing about this coat is that the zipper can be REALLY HARD to zip up and for the built in mittens (optional to wear), I have to close my hand, making a fist, for it to fit. Everything else, this coat really nais it on the head! LOVE the color. LOVE the style. LOVE the magnetic buttons. LOVE how warm it is. I think you get the picture. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

I have owned this coat since the winter of 2015 which was a doozie up here in Boston. I was SO GLAD that year that I had ponied up the money for this coat since i pretty much lived in it that year. This is my third winter in it. I love it. It is warm, long, has so many excellent pockets, the color is great, it washes well, IT HAS MAGNETS that close it when you are too lazy to zipper it.... It is the best coat I have every owned. I find all TNF runs narrow in the shoulders so I always size up. If you are on the fence just get it.

I was desperate for a cold weather parka that would get me through a long, cold, windy New York City winter, and so far, the Tremaya fits the bill. It does a great job of blocking the wind, and it's very comfortable to wear either walking around or sitting on a subway. I LOVE THE MAGNET CLOSURES. Sometimes, I forego the zipper and just close up the front with the magnets, and it's quick and easy. It could be a little more fitted around the waist/hip area, and also not loving the two headed zipper. It takes a little finesse to get it aligned properly to zip up. Otherwise, excellent purchase!

This is the best coat I have ever owned. We are in the midst of a vicious Chicago winter and this coat has kept me perfectly warm in -10 weather. I am not exasperating...I feel NO wind, not cold whatsoever. I also can wear it when it is 45 degrees and not feel hot. This baby is a gem. I no longer need to dread winter!!!

This coat is the perfect mix of style and practical. Living in the Northeast, I've always struggled to find a winter coat that would keep me warm without making me look three sizes bigger than I am. This coat can handle the cold days while still making you look stylish with its modern fit/cut.

I LOVE this coat. I spend a lot of time outside in NYC weather. This keeps me warm. The cuffs unsnap to stop wind when I am biking in the winter. The arm has a pocket for my subway card. There is an inner pocket for my phone and money. I wish the inner cuffs had thumbholes to keep them on my hand when I put gloves on but I sewed a thumb loop in and am happy. The hood is a little big but overall the coat is so well fitted and looks so great, I don't care. I am 5'5" and 130# and got a small which is perfect. The medium looks too bulky.

This has got to be the warmest parka I've ever owned. It really is wind and water prof and will keep you pretty warm even with minimal layers. It fit a little snug at first but stretched a bit. I love the little hand covers and the magnetic buttons. The zippers are not great - even the zipper on the hood, which always seems just a little bit undone. Knowing all that though, I'd buy it again cause it's cute and oh so warm

Great coat very stylis!! Love the side pulls to sinch you in giving you a nice pear shape. I'm curvy size 14/16 5'4" and was worried about the sizing as I love a tight fit. The Large was way too tight and couldn't zip up comfortable around my booty area lol. Retuned and exchanged. Had to get the XL fit tight still but enough room for my curves. Very happy with my present!!

I've been shopping forever for a longer parka with a hood, and this has been (by far) the best jacket I've ever owned. I'm 5'10, 150 lbs and got the medium and it fits perfectly. It's very warm and you don't need many layers underneath, to keep warm. It is a bit thicker and can be kind of cumbersome when you try to move around (i.e. sitting at your desk in it, isn't recommended!) but it's worth it. I live in Seattle so it doesn't get too cold, but it's been in the low 30's all week and I've lived in this jacket! It's also perfect for those rainy days-- the hood is LARGE and encompasses your whole face.... no needing to keep pulling back the hood to keep your face and head dry. The snaps at the waist allow you to cinch it in, for a more feminine look, which makes it look less bulky. The one downside (if I had to pick one), is that it's a heavy jacket.

Purchased this coat and the Artic parka after a fab sale during Black-Cyber weekend, then had a terrific time deciding on which one to keep. I originally ordered a size small in both, the exchanged for mediums (zappos is just so super fab with this!). I typically wear smalls in most items, but the cut on both was a bit narrower, particularly in the shoulders and chest, so ordered up. I trialed these coats as best possible with in parameters-walked outside to get the mail and around the house. I live in northern Ohio and the winter wind is no joke. Have a long Patagonia that just doesn't cut it, wanted to try NF for better wind protection. While I felt the Artic was roomier, a bit more cozy, this cost was fierce against the wind and won out. As soon as I committed, our weather turned nasty cold quick, and early. Im dang glad I choose this over Arctic. I do get a little warm in stores, but I dont have to bulk up layers to go out, so Ill take it. The Artic would be ideal for a bit more fashion, or tepid climate. Its also cheaper, but for a reason. Neck area a little awkward, but when its blowing and your full on covered, grateful is the correct term. Would be nice to have magnets to keep collar down when not needed. Very happy with this investment.

I absolutely love this jacket! I can go out in 20 & 30 degree weather with just a thin shirt underneath, and I stay warm and snuggly. Not sure why people want to pay so much more for a Canada goose jacket when North Face's quality is so much better (and less expensive). Trend perhaps? It just makes no sense. I've been buying NF brand coats, jackets, hats, gloves, hoodies and snow boots for myself, and for family for years, and I don't plan to change. I love the North Face brand!!

Wow....warm. Moving from Southern California to Toronto was quite the culture shock. But after ready all the reviews about north face decided to give it a try. Was indeed happy. I hsvr a dog so outdoors a lot and jacket was very warm. Although had to layer a little I bought a size up. The in sewn gloves served emergency gloves are an added bonus and would for sure tell a friend to Buy this jacket. Just for Info i am 5'6 and weigh 140. So I opted for the extra large which is quite flattering.

My daughter recently moved to Chicago for medical school, and having lived near New Orleans most of her life, was unprepared for the cold and windy weather. She walks to class and is often out early in the morning or late at night when it is the chilliest. Tremaya Parka to the rescue! This coat is perfect--cozy and thick without being bulky and covers down to her boots so her legs stay warm too. Beautifully made and the belt adds a flattering feminine fit. Expensive, but like medical school, worth it!

I love this for cold windy winters up north. I live on a large college campus and have to walk almost a mile to get to and from classes so this coat saves me from becoming a popstickle
