Wide width not wide enough for me.

First time Columbia Footwear buyer. Half sized up for thick socks and custom footbeds. Plenty of room. Super comfortable. Okay on ice but not great. Bought them as work boots for shoveling snow, etc. Got the green. It's an awful army green color. They are pretty frumpy looking but will be functional for me. Love the comfort. Maybe they would be better in black.

I so wanted to love these boots, but the fit is too narrow altogether. I tried sizing up to 10.5, also narrow. Very few Columbia color/style options available in wide widths. Sadly returned them. Bummer. For reference, i typically wear 41 narrow in Birkenstock or Asics sneakers.

I ordered the same pair in 2 different colors. This one felt MUCH narrower. Returning and keeping the other.

I needed a pair of comfortable waterproof boots for a trip. These were not it! Very stiff and uncomfortable, couldn’t wait to get them off my feet when I tried them on. But they are cute! I think Columbia should have it figured out by now how to make a comfortable boot.

I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 depending on the style of shoe. The 9 1/2 seemed like a good fit at first but when I walked around in them, they hurt the balls of my feet. The footbed doesn't fit my foot at all! I really like these otherwise, they're exactly what I've been looking for, but they are uncomfortable so I'm returning them.

If you have ever wanted to know what it feels like to wear shoes made from 2x4’s, these are for you. Super stiff!!! It’s really too bad because they are so adorable.

I bought these boots, because l really liked the color and style, and when l read the description, l decided to try these Columbia boots..but in the first 2 hours of wearing, l knew these boots didn’t work to me..how it says it bring a supportive midsole and all- day comfort.. after two hours l started to feel my left knee was hurts me.( l got a lesion on it Around a year ago) so l try to wearing shoes being enough comfortable with a very good cushion to wear it all day.. Also they fit a little bit wider..another detail is the temperature was a 30 degree and my feet got so cold.. l didn’t test them in a wet weather, so l can tell nothing if they really are water proof or no..what l can tell is these boots have not enough quality..that is probably are cheaper compared with other Columbia models…

Fit is too narrow even though it was a wide width. If you truly have a wide foot they won't work. The style is great but the material is very hard not giving. Returned, too uncomfortable.

I loved the look of this boot and it's very sturdy but not very comfortable; too rigid. I did return.

I normally wear a regular width 6.5 or 7, I ordered these in a 7 wide because the insole is removable, and I had plans to switch it out with the Ugg insole sheepskin replacements for added warmth. I did this, and the fit was exactly as expected, and I could actually wear the wide without the Ugg insoles and just thick socks too. I am not sure how warm they would be, they seemed decent when I was trying them on but never took them outside of course. I sent these back because of the color. The picture looks like they are 2 tone, with the suede and nylon in contrasting colors (Cordovan/Siberia), but when I got them, they just look like the color varies slightly between the two materials, and it's a weird greenish brown. Not at all what I was looking for. If the color hadn't been ugly, I might have kept them.

I bought these boots to replace some old boots. I was very excited to get them because they look so nice. We have recently had cold and snowy weather in Chicago. These boots are NOT warm. My feet are freezing in them. It is better if I wear couple pairs of wool socks. I bought wide size and there is plenty of room for a lot of socks. The boots are very comfortable. They are very stylish. Traction on the snow is good. Today after scraping snow off my car for 15 minutes, my toes were numb. I'm a little disappointed because I thought the Columbia brand had a good reputation. I won't recommend or purchase Columbia again. My advice is buy big enough to be able to wear lots of thick socks.

Well, I was able to give them the full test today. So here goes: I normally wear an 8.5 but I buy size 9 so I can insert my orthotics. I don't have wide feet but I had a broken toe recently so I have been buying shoes in wides. So I bought a 9-wide and I'm glad I did. I read on here that you can remove the insole but I found that very difficult. So I gave it a shot and left their insoles in the boots and put my orthotics in on top of them. It actually worked perfectly, which is amazing. There was still a ton of room in the toe-box and their insole clearly doesn't have much of an arch because it didn't affect my orthotics. The boots are very comfortable and were easy to walk in. We had a ton of snow this weekend and yesterday we walked around on snow, plowed snow, compressed icy snow, and bare pavement. The boots were great on all of the above. My husband was slipping a bit but I wasn't slipping at all. I stepped through some slushy puddles without any water getting in. I didn't stand in them for any length of time so I can't really vouch fully for the waterproof-ness. My one complaint: My toes got cold. The outside temperature was about 18º-F, so boots this heavy and "insulated" should be keeping my feet warm. That was disappointing because it was my primary reason but buying the boots. I mean I wasn't ice cold but my toes were definitely cold. Other than that, they're nice looking and I like them.

I thought I would love these. The light blue laces are fun but there's a pair of black laces if you prefer to go under the color radar. I just couldn't fit my wide foot into these. I would call them more of a W than a WW width. They fit, but the side of my foot felt like it was squeezed too much. I even waited a few days to try them again at a different time of day, thinking my feet might have been swollen. Nope, still not comfortable for me to walk around in all day. Sadly, these are going back.

Not much support, which I need for my plantar fasciitis.

Adorable boots, but had to return them as arch support was minimal at best. I wish more brands would describe the level of arch support their shoes have in their description - not a word about it so I took a chance. I should have known at this price point not to expect too much. Definitely for someone younger with healthy feet!

Not particularly warm. One shoe felt ok comfort-wise, the other shoe was quite painful on my ankle after walking around. Probably the most uncomfortable snow boots I’ve worn.

True to size. Cute. But ABSOLUTELY NO arch support. Now I have to buy inserts to put inside them because I need support for my feet.

I bought these in a size larger than my actual hoping my wide feet would fit. They don't. I have bunions, and I know shoes often do not fit me. I wish the company sold a wide size that would fit my feet.

Fit was good, but the shoes were harder than I expected. Uncomfortable when worn for too long, and too tight when worn with thick socks.

The fit was off for these so I had to return.
