So happy with these boots! I am a South Texas girl who does not like to be cold and these boots did the trick! I wore these in snow and slush in mid 20-30 degree temps and with my warmest hiking socks on, my feet were kept warm and dry on a 5 mile hike. No problems at all in the snow and slush. I didn't expect them to, but know that these will not keep you from slipping on ice, but most shoes won't without crampons anyway. The next test was in the Adirondacks and the temps were 1-5 degrees. In those temps, my feet were freezing! Perhaps adding some thermal socks under the hiking socks would have helped. I will definitley try that next time. Besides keeping my feet warm (except for the ridiculously cold 1 degrees), these boots are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I wore them on level hiking ground (snow&slush), did several miles on a jetty that was rocky and sometimes wet. My feet were dry and comfortable the whole time. I would order a half size up to allow for thick socks. I love these boots and would order them again!

I put these boots to test yesterday when we had more than 6 feet of snow in Boston, with a wind chill temperature in the single digit. These had a good grip, did not slip at all walking in thick pasty snow. They kept my feet warm. Totally waterproof, had no problem digging my foot in snow. Very comfortable. I wear 7.5 in flats and ordered these boots in 8.5. Overall, satisfied with my purchase, they passed the snow test!

These are great boots. They are comfortable right out of the box and are very warm. I have done some short hikes in them and they are great. The grey color is super cute. I was a little worried about having white trim at the top, but it looks good. I would definitely buy again.

Wow- we had snow and I tested these boots. LOVE them. Toes stayed toasty warm, got good traction in the snow with an underlying ice layer. Shoveled the sidewalk and driveway and HAD FUN because of these boots. I feel so CUTE in them (actually it is the boots that are cute, but hey, if that transfer! Just ordered another pair of Columbia shoes- love this brand.

These boots are true to size and comfortable. My only complaint is with the laces, it seems you have to lace and unlace them every wearing.

I rarely write reviews, but these boots deserve one! I had previously owned boots by Kamik and while durable, they were way too heavy making them uncomfortable to walk around. Just got these boots, and they are the exact opposite! Lightweight, very warm and great in the snow-already got to try them out thanks to a storm. All that, and they're cute, too! Great job Columbia!

I like these boots a lot. But I ordered them for my grandmother and they're too stiff and long/high for a tiny little grandmother. But they are very well made, stylish boots for most anybody else.

I really like these boots. They aren't the cutest snow boots in the world, but they are incredibly warm and fairly comfortable. I wore them for a 4 mile walk straight out of the box. Over the past two weeks, I've worn these for hikes and errands. Best of all, in the below-zero weather, they keep the feet toasty!

Found these and took a chance...the most comfortable boots I've owned. Good for snow or rain. These boots kept my feet warm for hours in the snow. I plan to purchase a second pair in the grey. Look great and feel great. 5 stars!!

Bought these for a winter trip to New York. My feet were warm, toasty and dry after a very rainy week and even an accidental misstep into a deep puddle. These boots were great with leggings, and I could even wear my trouser jeans over them on my jeans days. I did buy a half size up, but think I probably could have stayed at my own size and still been fine (even with thicker socks). I would have preferred more arch support, but with the extra room from going a half size up, I simply slipped in some arch support inserts and they made a huge difference. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone trying to decide whether or not to get them!

Love this bootI I had sorrels and while they were comfortable to walk in and looked good, my toes were always FREEZING in those boots in the cold. These Ice Maidens look fab and keep my toes toasty. And they come in size actual 12!! Amazing!

These are most likely true to size if wearing with regular ski socks. I had to reorder them in my regular size instead the larger size.

Bought this boot for my daughter for her trip to Tahoe for New Years. She loves the boot. Cute but also very functional. Kept her feet warm and dry in the snow. Comfortable for her short hike. Definitely a keeper.

They are very warm and comfy

I'm usually a North Face girl, but decided to try these boots based on review. They are so light and comfortable! They are warm and keep my feet dry in the mountain snow. I usually wear a size 8, but ordered up a half size. This way, I can wear thicker socks if needed. Thumbs up for the comfort, price and warmth!

Needed boots for Minnesota winter work commute and these are perfect. Lightweight, warm, did not need to be broken in. They are cute enough and didn't cost a lot. I will have these for years to come. Great buy.

These are an excellent value. I got the shale/raspberry, which is grey (I was a little worried about the raspberry but it wasn't a factor). Size was exact. Faux fur top was cute with jeans. My daughter got the black and they were good too. These boots are very comfortable, warm and lightweight. I visited the CO mountains from Los Angeles, and I used the boots for hiking on packed snow, walking up and down an icy driveway, and as "apres-ski" boots. Absolutely perfect if you need a moderately-priced, easy-wearing boot for a cold-weather vacation. I can't vouch for them if you're a serious mountaineer, but for my purposes they were perfect.

I initially ordered these boots for my wife to take up North with us for christmas. When they arrived, they were so light and cute I ordered another pair for myself. I was surprised that they arrived in time as our trip was only 2 days away. We both wore them in the snowy cold north and they kept our feet toasty warm and dry. The only thing I would recommend would be to try them with an insert which has arch support as they are fairly flat inside. Otherwise they are a great little boot! Very cute too both over and under pants!

Comfy boot but the bulk at the ankle makes my feet look misshapen. Returning them.
