Gorgeous, well-made boot. I wear and ordered an 8W (wide calf) and this boot was waaaaaay too narrow and super long! It was also just barely too tight for my 18in calves.

I ordered a 9 wide (I'm a 9/9.5 and the 9.5 had been too big in the toes) and the boot was too narrow (which is odd as my feet are wide but I usually wear M width shoes...) The heel is too narrow or isn't made well. Not comfortable and difficult to zip at the bottom over the heel. The leather is a nice quality and I like the color. Bummed they didn't work out.

I ordered both these and the original Penny boots, and was disappointed with both. I am in between regular and wide calf, but neither of these worked for me sadly. The Penny was incredibly narrow (both in the footbed and boot shaft), but the Penny wide calf was far too wide. I wish they would have worked, because they were beautiful boots! If you are in between, I would recommend trying a bigger size in the regular boot, as this wide calf is VERY wide in my opinion.

These boots are really gorgeous, but something odd kind of sticks up in the sole and pokes right into my arch. (I have high arches, this doesn't usually happen.)Otherwise, I would say true to size. And I love the styling and color.

I ordered these in the 10W extended calf. I am normally a 10M but had heard these ran narrow. The extended calf was great but the boot was VERY narrow. I tried to wear them around the house for a bit but couldn't stand to have my feet in them for long because they started to go numb. Great looking boot and style but no way I could keep them. I'm returning them even though I wanted them to fit so much!!

These boots are great! Except they aren't wide calf. Or wide width at all. The footbed itself is very narrow. And the calf wouldn't even zip. Unfortunately many boots advertise themselves as being wide calf because they simply have a tiny bit of elastic on the side that doesn't provide much stretch. Unfortunately this is just another one of those. The only true wide calf boots can be bought at women's plus size stores. Thanks to Zappos great return policy though I can send these back for a full refund.

I got these boots and was so excited - the calf was cute and perfect, but when I put on the Wide version, they were too narrow for my feet. I almost kept them hoping it would stretch but am returning to try another brand as I can't get any wider in this version. It's amazing how different boots for the same size fit completely different depending on brand - these are flexible with soft leather.

These did not feel like true wide-calf boots. The shaft is shaped like an upside down triangle, very narrow at the base of the calf but very wide at the top. I could zip them up but they were extremely tight around the lower calf muscles and huge (gaping, enormous) at the opening just below my knees. I like the look of these, and the leather is gorgeous. But they did not fit me and I had to return them.

I am a size 11, medium width foot with a 19 inch calf. The boot shaft fit my leg comfortably with very little stretching required - the small fabric insert barely expanded at all. In that way they were excellent, however, I found the boot to be extremely narrow and tight across my arch. Quality of leather was good, but I will be returning due to the width.

I love the way these look, but they don't fit in the calf. I wear a size twelve and have a 16" calf, and so we purchased the wide calf version of these shoes (the only one which wet up to size twelve. The sizing DEFINITELY changes with shoe size. The circumference was 19," much too big.

Really nice boots but the wide was way too wide so had to return

Ordered a Wide and it was Very narrow! Could not even get my whole foot into the shoe. Nice quality leather- it's a shame it is cut so narrow. Calf seemed to be cut nice and wide.

I'm so disappointed, these are beautiful boots buy the right boot fits the left won't zip up! They are stated to be 18" calf width but they are not when you measure them. The left was a full inch less in diameter. For $150, problems like this shouldn't exist with this boot. So, sad.

My calf is 15 3/4 at the widest part and I would tolerate the boot just because of the wonderful leather and styling if not for the HUGE gapping at the top. Just can't handle that.

I loved how the leather felt & it fit my legs great. However, I wasn't impressed with the support in the sole, so I returned.

Loved the look and comfort level of these boots but I believe I was way too short to pull these off unfortunately, which is why I gave 3 stars. The angle the top portion of the boot cuts at isn't super flattering if your legs aren't long but regardless they think they are super cute.

I opened the box and fell in love with these boots; the color was great and the boot looked fantastic. Sooo, I was completely devastated when I put them on and they looked awful on me. I believe it might be the asymmetrical design, but they were extremely unflattering and looked almost like a rain boot. I will have to return these, unfortunately.

I mostly bought these because of the price. They fit excellent and look good, the quality is just on the cheap side.

I wanted to love these so much, and they are beautiful. They were true to size (size 9), and fit my "wide" calves (15.5"-15.75"), but the length of the toe was too much for me so I ended up returning them.

These boots are nice, but a very weird shape. My heel felt like it was hanging off the back of the shoe - not because they were too small, but because if you look at the pictures, the heel of the boot extends slightly past the sole of the shoe! They are VERY wide at the top, gapped about 1/2-1" around the tops on me which just looked strange.

Runs big. Color is different than pictured. Looked cheap and returned :-(

I bought this boot in both the regular and wide calf. I could not fully zip up the regular calf and the wide calf gaped 1/2 to 1 inch all around the top, so I sent both back. I sometimes wear a 6.5 and sometimes a 7. I sometimes wear a medium width shoe and sometimes a wide. If the shaft of the boot had fit, I would have kept the 6.5 wide.

Very stylish boots! I found these boots to be very narrow in the foot. I have a 16" calf and would be able to tuck a legging or skinny jean into these, more than enough room. Didn't keep them because they were just not comfortable.
