Even with buying a wide, the boot was still really narrow. I also sized up just like the other reviews said to but they were still too small. I decided to just return instead of exchange.

Beautiful boots, but they run big

These are fine, but not for me. I gained a little weight & discovered that my regular tall riding boots don't fit anymore, so I tried these. But these are too big for my legs (and so were another brand of wide-calf that I tried at the same time). Now I'm looking for regular-calf boots that have more give and/or a little stretch built in. If you're like me & just BARELY don't fit into regular-calf boots, these probably won't fit you well. But for slightly wider calves, I bet they're perfect!

I literally want to cry. I finally found a pair of boots that fit my ridiculously big thighs and they happen to run extremely narrow in the heel, arch and toe box. If I size up they will be too big.

Fit was large in the foot but very, very large in the calf. I know these are wide calf boots and I have wide calves but these were humungous. I ordered the Frye wide calf boots and they were a much more appropriate fit in the calf area. The leather itself also looked a bit cheap to me - I had to check to see if I had mistakenly gotten faux leather.

I ordered a wide width but the footbed is no wider than a medium width tall boot. The boots are wide at the top like pirate boots, which isn't too much of an inconvenience since I bought these to wear with long skirts. The large neon green stickers on the sole of each boot were tough to remove. Also, these boots had been reboxed because the original box had been damaged. Overall, not the usual great buying experience. Would not buy this brand again.

I have never had to order a pair of wide calf boots in my life. But, that seems to be the situation I am dealing with now. I have tried 9 pair of boots, all to be returned. I have athletic calves, but I would not call them wide. I am a 14.5 circumference for reference. And I can normally wear a 6.5 with no problems. I do wear 7 In Athletic shoes. I thought this pair might be the one. But, they too had to go back. I could put my entire hand in the shaft behind my leg. So, the search continues. The leather is beautiful and there was no ankle sag, which I found with the Frye, but they were about 3 inches too big in the calf and looked like I could have been in a pirate boot

Love love love these riding boots! I ordered a wide width for my medium width feet so I could wear socks however the wide width is more like a small medium width! These are gorgeous boots with amazing style but unless you have a slender or narrow foot, these boots will be too tight. They are not a true wide! I’m so disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful boot but they were not wide enough for my calf’s. Very disappointing. I have a 16.5 calf and wear a size 8 b

Beautiful boot but they are not wide calf boots.

I wanted to treat myself to a pair of leather boots to last more than a season or two. These were lovely coming out of the box. They were snug on my calf as the circumference was just wide enough to accommodate my leg with some skinny ankle pants, but knew it would have likely loosened over time. The color was a different lighter brown, but pretty. Unfortunately, I had to return as the zipper on the left boot would not budge from the top leaving it impossible to put on.

The extra wide calf size was huge. I am returning.

Leather is a bit thin, and zipper was sticky and hard to get up but the style is very nice. Going back because they'd do better on someone taller, there was a bit of a gap at the top and they were a bit tight on my wide toes.

These boots are great except for the zipper up the back. Horrible idea - took about 10 steps in them and it was already digging into my Achilles. Sat down like I was driving a car, and it was even worse! Returning.

The boot was definitely a different color than online image (more orange/lighter). The leather looked a bit cheap to me. Boot overall was comfortable.

The wide calf didn't seem any wider than a regular calf. Loved the boot just didn't fit.

The boot seems to "stick out" on the side at the top, which I didn't notice in all of the pictures. While they fit my calves now, I am worried that they will stretch too much. They are also very hard on the foot - no relief for the sole! The redeeming feature on these boots is the quality of the leather. I had looked for black boots for a long time - these seemed just perfect, but I now realize they are not. Unfortunately, I have discarded all of the packing material. Is there any way I can still return them?

A nice looking boot, but it is going back. I should have heeded the reviews: the wide calf is not all that wide. I couldn't even zip it up with stockings, much less tuck any pant legs inside. Also, the W-width is quite snug. Maybe okay with stocking, but definitely no socks. I also have reservations about having the zipper on the back: I have ruined many pairs of stockings by crossing my legs with boots w/zipper at the back. Was going to give these a chance because there is a bit of a cover over it. I guess I'll never know...

I really wanted to like these - the styling is nice, quality of leather is nice - the calf was too wide (and I have wide calves) and as a result my foot slipped around a lot - the disappointment was that this is the first boot that fit my instep as you step into the boot from the back zipper (another nice feature)...just bummed it did not work out.
