My husband has been wearing these for years, as he loves the fit and performance. He is on his fourth pair! One heading to the trash, one for yardwork, one for wearing around the house, and the newest pair to wear out in public. Guess he really likes them!

The 877 has been an easy shoe to break in and looks great.

Great sneakers. I have bought New Balance for over a decade because they come in widths.

After wearing heavy, restricted steel toe boots for 30 years, putting these on is like walking on a cloud !!

Bought these for my husband. He loves them. They are comfortable, look great. If they were offered in a slightly narrower width that would have been ideal, but these are fine.

for comfort, fit, flexibility and price. Sorry, LLBean, but your own brand walking shoes are heavier and less flexible. I've tried two pairs and while great for hiking in the brush or working in the yard they are not what I want for my daily walking exercise, whether out of doors or on the treadmill. Part of it is I have a wide foot and only New Balance consistently has been a perfect fit, providing comfort and full support. In my youth I ran, quickly going into New Balance's running shoes where I stayed for years - but now I walk...and after trying various shoe brands and styles (LL Bean being just one of many) I am back with New Balance Walking shoes (the old reliable) - and loving it! I even got a second pair so I could switch off every day.

First, as with all New Balance, LL Bean is correct is advising you to order half sizes up. I'm a reliable 10.5 and have found11 in NB to be a comfortable fit. For many years I've purchased LL Bean New Balance for my daily exercise and based on the reviews I decided to opt for this style and it has worked out beautifully. The shoes are extremely comfortable and great for walking/treadmill. They look good, too. On top of this, the price is also reasonable. Strongly recommended.

I recently wore these for the first time on a walking tour of Corkscrew Sanctuary in FL, and continued to wear them the rest of the day. They were so comfortable I really did not want to take them off. The liner is soft and comfy like a slipper, and they just formed around my foot. They did not feel like I was walking on a thick, cloppy slab of plastic foam as some sneakers feel. As an 80 yr-old I am looking forward to wearing them on a cruise!

The sneakers fit my foot perfectly. I would reccomend them for comfort and style.

This is my third pair of these sneakers. They are worn more or less daily and last about 2 years before the padding wears down. My feet are very happy in them and the gray color does not stand out like white ones or, worse yet, bizarre colors. Oh, I'm over 70 years old and don't want to be a "grandpa with white sneakers". These work.
