The nice full box toe gives my toes the room they long for. These are back to the old last of 4-5 years ago. Although they may not be 100% American Made, I prefer the fit to another recent pair of NB (of the same size & width) that cost $185! Out of the box, they feel like bedroom slippers. Make more of these, please, New Balance!

Been a New Balance fan for years but was having trouble replacing my old NB walking shoe. Needs to be light weight, comfortable, and not look like clod hoppers. These 877's meet all requirements. The shape of the toe took some getting used too but fits great. Very happy feet.

Usually buy NB running shoes to walk in but saw these on Bean. I use Sole insoles and I pulled them out of my running shoes and they slid right in these walking shoes. I like it when a company has reliable sizing.
I've got about a hundred miles on these and find them comfortable, supportive although not a cushy as a premium running shoes.

I read one review that said there very heavy. I found them to be super light and they wear like slippers, probably the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever had. I can only do what I can do but try to buy only American made everything which is so difficult and shoes are very hard so I only buy new balance (not all are made in USA so beware.)

I recently had a total knee replacement and had been advised not to run anymore. I have been looking for a comfortable shoe when I walk. I generally walk about 4 miles per day with my dog and love that my feet feel great after a walk. I have only worn New Balance shoes for my past running and walking. I would like to see a few more colors for these shoes, maybe blue of black.

I had been wearing the 577 as my daily wear, but these 877's are a step up! Very soft and lightweight for a very comfortable shoe I can stay in all day.

This is the second pair of 877 I have bought. My first was in 2016. I still have them they are a size 12 D , worn frequently. Since then I have gained arthritis in my feet and swelling and had to go to the 12 4E. Still the most comfortable shoe I have owned. My 2016 pair is still in good shape however I now need the extra width. I recently tried a variety of other brands and none compare. With the SL2 last (regular heel , wide toe box) they fit my feet perfectly. I compared my 2016 shoes to the new ones. The only 2 differences are the leather on the toe of the new is slimmer giving a sleeker look and the insert is not the quality of the 2016 model. Price believe it or not, is the same, probably the result of the cheaper insert (I put my insert from 2016 in the new shoes, works) . Somebody wrote this is a clown shoe, yep, it fits big feet comfortably. If you are looking for style then this is probably not your shoe. However if you are looking for a shoe that is comfortable , allows for wide feet, and wears well this is your shoe.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance in shoes , Old friend in slippers, Propet in slippers

Have (or have worn out) more NB shoes than I can count. These 877 walking shoes are similar to another, older pair (can't remember the model) but have an "enlarged" toe box that looks a little funny but should certainly provide plenty of room for toes to "wiggle" or expand.. Very comfortable, lightweight, great NB quality and workmanship. Overall, very "consistent" with about every pair of NB shoes I've owned. Good value.

This is the 4th time I have ordered these walking shoes for my husband. He has problems with his back and feet and these shoes make such a difference. I am so happy you have larger sizes because he takes a size 15. They are true to size. I highly recommend New Balance shoes.
