Lightweight and stable. Wide toe box feels terrific !

Stability/ Recovery from Spinal Injury. Needed wide toe box & not too much bounce in the heal.

This is my second pair of the New Balance 887 walking shoes and they're perfect. Absolutely the best-fitting pair of walking shoes I've ever owned.

I've been wearing New Balance running or walking shoes since '73. I'll never wear anything else for athletic shoes.

The product is shoes, so how used is obvious. I wear them daily.

I use the shoe for everyday wear. It's very comfortable and rises high enough on the sides to cradle my ankles one of which was injured a couple years ago and remains tender.

Good walkers with good support and Very comfortable

I'm an older guy and these are the best shoes for walking city streets I've ever had because they're cushioned, thus easy on the knees, and the sole design puts a spring in your step

As a person with flat feet, it is often hard to get a comfortable pair of sneakers for everyday use. I found the New Balance 877 a perfect fit and a well designed product.

Was hoping these would replace the 587 for me, so far they have. It should be noted these are walking shoes not running. I did not wear the 587 for running. I wore them because of the SL2 last. I wear EE need a roomy toebox and narrow ankle. I really have to make the laces snug on these, I would be happy if the heel was a little more narrow. I also wear custom orthotics. Due to limb length discrepancy, I have added height on one of the orthotics, these shoes are deep enough to accommodate the height of the orthotic. They also come in size 7. Its hard to find any shoe that is 7EE on an SL2 last (roomy toebox/narrow heel). So I am glad NB makes these. I like the color as well. People might complain that these are 'ugly', well if you usually have to wear "nurses' shoes, these are downright stylish! Ive purchased 3 pairs so far. Please dont stop making these. It is so hard for me to find shoes that meet my needs.

I buy most of my shoes from LL Bean because they always have my size. I walk a lot, several hours a day. These shoes are very comfortable, even worn constantly on a 3-day trip. I have a long, satisfactory experience with New Balance.
