My husband purchased a pair of these loved the fit and how light weight the shoes were. It is not easy to find a size 14 that has a decent size toe box so you can walk for extended periods of time. Consequently, we ordered the second pair the next day so we have a backup pair and won't get caught if these are discontinued.

This style fits perfectly. They are truly a 4E in width. Other New Balance styles, although billed as 4E's, seem to be much narrower than 4E and don't fit but these are great!

have ordered these before ,but this time I had to send them back and get a half size smaller.Guess my foot shrunk.Comfortable,wide enough,not very stylish but comfortable if you have foot problems.

My husband has a very wide foot with high instep. Finding a comfortable shoe for him is a tall order. This shoe offers excellent support, generous toe box and doesn't look like an orthopedic prescription. Would highly recommend.

I've been wearing Eccos almost exclusively for the past 20 years because of the style, comfort and durability - mostly the comfort and durability. That was when I was still working and spending 10 - 14 hours on my feet everyday. Now that I'm retired all I wanted was a good economical walking shoe. Unfortunately I couldn't afford the Eccos that appealed to me so I ordered these. They were comfortable right out of the box. They are true to size and they look good. My hope is that they will be durable with the minimal demands I will put on them. My only quibble is the insert - it feels flimsy and I will be putting in some used orthotics swapped from a pair of one of my Eccos. I don't think the toe looks bulbous.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I use them primarily for walking for exercise, but I also wear them to the gym and I did a ten day walking tour in Europe this summer. I am so impressed that I just ordered a second pair to put away in case they get discontinued. They aren't bad looking but if style is more important to you than comfort, buy something sporty looking at Target.

This is a comfortable walking shoe. They felt good right out of the box. My foot is slightly wider than normal near the toe, and these have good toe room. (I don't do well with pointy toed shoes.) Typical for New Balance, I learned to order a half size larger than my shoe store measurement. (Stores measure me at 10.5 - so I ordered an 11.) This fits well for me. I saw a review complaining about style. I had to laugh. These are walking shoes. I thought they looked just fine, but then I am a retired fuddy-duddy. If you really want style, don't shop in the walking shoe section. I am happy with them.
