The jacket keeps you dry. plain and simple. I wasn't looking for something with all the bells and whistles, I got a great jacket that is functional and has enough use.

I put it to the test and stayed dry for the duration of the rain. It also acts as a good wind jacket too. Glad I purchased it.

I wore the jacket in some very heavy rains recently and it kept me very dry

Wore it in a rainstorm on campus and it made sure I was dry for my next class!

This is a perfect basic rain jacket. It is light and keeps the rain out for most city and light use. And it packs up super small! You might choose something more heavy duty for heavy extended rain though.

Light and keeps you dry. It would have been better if it had inside pockets.

Loved it so much I am going to keep it. Ordered it as replacement for lost raincoat, which was returned by friend day after I ordered a new one.

This is a very nicely designed light weight rain jacket and wind breaker. It could be improved if there were a way to tuck away the hood (into a collar pocket, for example) when it is not wanted or needed. Also it would be nice to have some soft lining around the inside of the collar. But all told, it is a good deal and it is nice looking.

Haven't really tested it on a really good rain, but for the light showers and drizzle it's holding up quite nicely. I haven't noticed any leaking. Definitely runs big but that's ok with me since I tend to layer underneath my rain gear. Can't beat Columbia gear.

Good fit and finish. Color works this time (after trying 2 other colors as depicted online). Sizing is certainly not narrow.

This is a very basic rain jacket but it's handy to pack in your backpack for emergency

Purchased this as a gift for my partner who is 6'2 and weighs about 175. The large size was a great fit and even the sleeve length was adequate for his long arms. Enough room to wear a warm sweater underneath without being too bulky in the overall fit. Pleasantly surprised that the red color was a nice deep red and not super bright. This is mesh lined and has velcro secured flaps to cover the zipper. Keeps him dry on his bike rides to work. Only complaint is that I wish the pockets on these jackets were more reinforced. Otherwise, great price for a great jacket.

I got this for my partner in the New Olive color, size L. I originally got him a M, and it fit as long he wasn’t wearing anything under it. I think if you’re between sizes or plan to layer under it, you should go up a size. The color is nice, but I feel like online it looks more brown. It’s definitely more green (like an olive) in person. Overall he likes it and it feels sturdy.

I have 2 of these jackets both in great condition except waterproof is gone. 'Waterproof' lasted ~1.5 Oregon coast rainy seasons before giving up. Purchased 2nd one after 1st lost it. Dear Columbia, any recommendation on a spray to waterproof these? Again, jackets are in great shape and still work well for coastal winds and daily wear the rest of the year but waterproof is nada. Love the jacket

I live in south Texas an so a lightweight breathable jacket is a must have. The fit and packability is great. It's fine for a light rain, but in a real gully washer with large wind blown raindrops you're going to get wet.

This is a good rain jacket. It gets the job done just fine, but I've got two small *fit* criticisms. I'm 5'11'' and weigh about 160 pounds. I bought a size small, and although it fits nicely around my torso, it's a little long, so it feels like it constricts my walking motion a bit. I wish the jacket were 2"-3" shorter. I also think the arms are a bit long. It would be nice if they were 1"-2" shorter. It seems like they made the *small* to fit someone who was tall and long but thin. Since I'm not tall and long, it doesn't fit quite right.

Great jacket, great feel, but could use a couple of extra pockets (1 exterior chest pocket on the left & 1 interior chest pocket on the right)
