This was what I was wanting, I use this with a hoodie in the early winter and early spring. I stay warm and dry. Layers are important to me.

I never do reviews but I have to. Recieved jacket on day of NYC record snow fall. So I thought perfect time to test watertight 2. I not good at words but this jacket is outstanding. It kepted me warm and dry as I shoveled 20 inches of snow out of my driveway. Now of course my wife wants one too and I'm more than happy to get for her. You won't be disappointed in purchase.

I got this for my boyfriend. We live in Oregon so he needed something like this. This does the trick! Waterproof and breathable! He loves it.

I just received this jacket for Christmas so I haven't put it through the rigor of the demands that I usually put products through but it was pouring rain outside today so I put it on and went out to test it. Water beaded up and ran off just like it should. Was bone dry everywhere that the jacket was covering so it's working great so far. There are only two things that I can say. 1. The velcro that secures the cuff on the sleeve is very skinny and I believe that I might would want it a little wider. Haven't really had it long enough to decide though. 2. I have pretty long arms for my body size so if you are like me, you may want to get a tall size for less restricted arm movement.

I love the blue color!! This is a great thin rain jacket. Keeps out all the water and seems nice and durable so far. Has taken a few downpours and kept me bone dry. I'm 5'8" ~160lbs and the small fit me perfectly.

I commute every day on the train and I need a light weight waterproof jacket that offers protection from the wind and rain. I wanted something that was waterproof and broke the wind, and light enough to put in my backpack when I don't need it. This jacket allows me all of these things and it is a great jacket. Great quality and great value for the money.

Fits true to size, excellent protection against rain...my husband has never owned a rain coat (he's 57)..he is ECSTATIC about this one.

I bought this jacket for my husband. The jacket does its job, especially up here in WA state.

I got this for a trip to Iceland. I had to wear it today and it was POURING - it worked GREAT! not a leak or single problem. I got this to layer so I bought it larger than needed so I put that it's true to size.

People have stopped my son and asked where did he get his rain jacket from. No joke they are shocked at how the water beads up and rolls off the jacket He loves this jacket. I might order a female one for me.

When I buy gear to hike and travel I want to look sharp, and get the best lightest weight gear for the task. It is always nice if the price is reasonable. The Columbia Watertight II Jacket is FABULOUS on all the criteria. I've purchased probably 10 jackets over the years. This one is less bulky, is more stylish, breathable (does NOT stick to the skin!), is water PROOF (much different than "repels water") and it is about less than all the other ones I've purchased. My husband loves it and I love it on him. Because I wasn't able to find one I liked as well for ladies - I decided to try this men's jacket in small and see if it was good for me. PERFECT!! All my other jackets are going to charity and I also now have more room in my closet. Best I've found for both of us in last 15+ years.

I purchased this for my husband as we were temporarily moving to England. It worked great during wet and cold days in the UK and he was satisfied with the quality. It blocks rain and wind and it keeps you warm and dry inside. I got small size as his usual and it is true to size. The description says it's slightly small but it was not the case for him. When temperature drops, you can comfortably wear fleece jacket inside and layer this shell over. It's also very light and packable and makes a great piece for travelling.

I just got this coat a few weeks ago, after getting a fleece and a winter coat. I realized I needed a rain coat that wouldn't make me sweltering (I live in FL), and this coat was the answer. I love it and it is perfect for these hot days in Florida where it rains every afternoon - I can keep the coat in my truck or backpack and pull it out when the rain starts. Highly recommend.

Perfect weight for a light, water repellent rain jacket!

Jacket is just as pictured, decent quality, fit is true to size. Haven't worn in the rain yet, so can't attest to whether or not it will hope up in a storm.

Purchased this for our cruise to the Norwegian Fjords this summer. Norway tends to have plenty of rain so we wanted to be prepared...they have a saying that "there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing." As it turned out, we only had one real rain day but several days when it was a bit cooler. The jacket performed exactly as advertised when I wore it on a three hours walk and there were showers the whole time--I was perfectly dry underneath. Also good for some protection from wind and cold with layers underneath when worn in the 50s. About the only possible downside is the jacket did not seem to breath well as it was easy to feel a sweat buildup underneath when we were walking uphill...overall I am very happy for the price. BTW I ordered both the med and large because I have a tall slender build. The med fit OK but I wanted a little more room for layers underneath so I went with the large.

This Columbia jacket is amazing. It cuts the wind, rain, and keeps me warm, but still breathes.

Already owned a Columbia raincoat that I like. We camp a lot and received this one just before a rainy camping trip. This coat is even better than my other one. I keep one in each of our fifth wheel campers. It's also a stylish color and I've gotten several compliments.
