Short on model looks longer, im 5'3 length its ok but though it was longer. I really liked them in terms of fit, usually Medium it runs at actual size.

These shorts are great quality and exactly the type of shorts I was looking for. I typically wear a size 4/6 in pants and a size medium on athletic shorts. When I purchased these shorts, I was not familiar with Columbia sizing, so I followed the sizing chart. The shorts were snug on me and I did not comfortable have full range of motion (deep squat was a no for me in these shorts). Ended up gifting these to a friend.

The pockets are very shallow and my phone falls out. I stitch velcro myself to solve the problem

Love these shorts! Very comfortable. Only wish there was a 6" or 7" version for those of us who prefer a bit longer pair of shorts.

I bought a large, i would size down they are really baggy in the front. I love the color and how light they are !

Great fit, cute and super comfortable. My only complaint is they wrinkle easily. I wore them all day and they were super wrinkly and they looked terrible. I purchased 3 pairs. Unfortunately I will be returning the other 2 pairs.

Dries extremely quick and super comfortable for hiking and swimming but a bit long for short people :)

These are great for me, I walk usually 4 miles a day.They have pockets for dog treats. I'm from AZ, now living in TX I sweat a lot. These dry quickly and don't stick to my sweaty legs. I also wear them when we go fishing.

I wear a size 14 in most brands. I ordered a size Large, however, had to return as they were tight in the butt area. I returned and ordered a xlarge and they fit perfectly. Very satisfied with the product. I like my shorts a little roomy and not too tight.

These shorts have great function to them - they are nice and light, dry quickly, move well, and have great pockets. I am an athlete so finding shorts that fit correctly is a difficult task, but these shorts fit nicely - though they are a little loose in the thighs (since it's the style). For reference I'm 5' and 125lbs.

Lightweight - yes Color - ugly Comfort - good If you have a "toddler" butt like me and I'm a grown woman clearly not doing enough squats then don't buy these shorts, totally unflattering.

I love these shorts! They wick away moisture, dry quickly, and are really cute/comfy. I would definitely recommend them. Great camping shorts!

This is my first columbia Purchase. I was looking for walking/hiking shorts for summer. These shorts are comfortable and cool to wear during hot summer days in Arizona. The quality and style is good and love the pockets. Purchased three at once based on the reviews and sale price. My only complaint is the inconsistency in the fit. One was bigger than the 2 however kept all three and would purchase more at the sale price in different colors!

Have worn Columbia Sandy River cargo shorts for over 10 years, first time owning this style. Purchased these to wear while working in the yard but they would be good for multiple activities. The fit with 5 inch inseam is good, they are cool, comfortable and dry quickly. They wash & dry well and the colors are pretty & bright. Highly recommend.

the shorts were a very good quality and I was very excited about them but the large was too large and the medium was too small. Maybe I'm just hard to fit or the sizing has a gap. So I spent postage on two orders and still don't have water shorts.

Passed them down to my granddaughter as they run a little small. Normally wear a MED, but didn't care for the fit. My granddaughter loves them.

These fit TTS! I am 5'6" 125 lbs and I a small, 5 in. They are a bit on the thin side but not see through

Nice lightweight shorts that dry quickly.

These shorts are amazing. I went to the beach and got them wet and dried quickly. I ended up buying more pairs in different colors. I had to size up because I have a bigger bottom and thighs. There's no real stretch to them. I don't mind because the waste has a strap to tighten them up. If you aren't pear shaped then stick to your normal size. I could have worn a medium but I'm sure it would have been pretty tight in butt area. I'm 5'8" 160 pounds.

These shorts are great! Super comfortable and practical. The material is very lightweight and they dry out fast, which is great for lake days! I got a size Large and typically wear a size 12 in pants.

These shorts fit their function very well. Keep moisture away and dry quickly. Easy to transfer between wet and dry activities. Love the pocket features and durability.

Love fabric, but these shorts wonderful but they are a little short for my taste. Great though for outdoor activities!!

I got these to hang out at my house and they are my favourite. I got 2 colors and they are light and super comfortable. For the hot humid weather in Florida they are terrific .
