I love Columbia shorts and these are very comfortable, great for camping.

I adore these shorts. They are so popular I was unable to purchase locally and had to go online to obtain them. Love the, love them, love them.

I love these shorts. They do run a bit large; I do not like tight fitting clothing so if you like a more fitted look, I would order a size smaller.

I bought 3 pair of these shorts to walk on the beach in the early morning. They were cool, dried quickly when I happened to get more than just my feet wet while walking, felt super light with no chafing! Could not have asked for a better pair of shorts to beach walk, use as a bathing suit bottom cover up or just for plain walking, lounging around the house, etc.

Nice color & weight but short rise- if you’re 5’7 & shorter these will probably work. Not for me

These are a nylon and very thin. They are comfortable and would work to wear of a swimsuit.

These are a great fit and feel. I bought the light peach color knowing they were going to be sheer and they are.

Very pleased with the fit and quality of the product. I only warn that these are slightly transparent so keep that in mind with the underwear or swim garment you choose to wear under these shorts.

Not super comfy or stretchy. They are kind of an itchy fabric. If I were to purchase again, id size up.

love the material, the quality of the shorts. it is true to size. I have ordered color yellow and its a see thru color, just returning and ordering different color.

The shorts are lightweight and well made. Two problems - I am in-between sizes so they are a bit big (M) but small is indeed too small. Second problem - pockets are not deep enough - can't carry a small phone.

Love these but wish they had more/deeper pockets so my phone doesn't come out

These mediums are slightly tight. I wear a size 6 and ordered a medium. Any future purchases might be a large.

Great water use shorts. Like these for kayaking. Rapid dry. Only drawback to me is front pockets should be as large as shorts allow. No size for phone, to and from boat.

Comfy & lightweight. Great for summer and all the activities!

I got the yellowish orange color of these shorts, and I love them! But faith warning, these specific shorts are a little more orangey that depicted in the picture I thought they were going to be a bit more yellow. But I still love them!

These are (almost) exactly right for melightweight, quick dry, comfortable, good pockets! I saw an older woman (in her 80s!) at the beach wearing these and thought she looked great. When I wear them (I'm a young-looking 64 years) I look good, but not great. If Columbia were to make these 2" longer, at a 7" inseam, I'd never stop buying them. Older women like shorts, too, and we can look awesome in them. But a tad longer version would help us really kick it up.

anted a pair of thin, cool shorts for beach walking - these are nicely made, but are just too blousy - making me feel like I have on a short skirt vs a pair of shorts. Sadly, am returning.

I am super bummed. They fit well, not too tight at all. If you want them smaller you should size down. I got my normal size because I like that they are a bigger fit. They are light weight. I do have to send them back. I got them to wear when I hike with my dog, and they trap every single piece of hair. My dog barely sheds and they just suck everything up. They are not very soft either. But if you do not have an animal and want a good light short that dries quickly, these would be great for being outside!

The quality and features of the shorts are good. Sizing is accurate/generous. The elastic at the waist stretches very easily and is on the "loose side" for me. I thought the interior cinch cord would cure that issue, but NOPE! The interior "cinch cord" to tighten the waist and keep shorts from pulling down/sagging when carrying items in pockets etc. is sewn in, in the central back, the cord is slick and very hard to tighten then "tie" and when done is never tight enough to do the job. I tried adding a spring-loaded chord clip, but the slick cord just slides right through. I'd hoped to replace the cord with similar sized elastic cord, but because it's sewn in, that won't work. A different "material" for the cinch cord, and/or NOT sewn in so it could be replaced by consumer, would turn these into a 5 star product.

I bought a large and the waist fits well, But the thighs are slightly on the tight side. Because I like the style I decided to buy an XL and the thighs fit perfect, But the waist is huge on me. Even tying the waist band as tight as possible, I still can't really wear them so I will have to give them away. ;-; They also tend to ride up on me a lot. But overall, I like them and would recommend them. Just a warning if you're curvy and considering buying them!

Nice shorts in many ways, but the fit is a little "poofy" across the front of the crotch, at least the M was for me. Waist was fine, so there must have been extra fabric in the hip area. However, that was not a serious enough problem to take off a star by itself. They were also quite a bit shorter than they appear on the models. More like short running shorts than general purpose shorts. Fabric is quite nice, and wide waist band is comfortable. For those wanting shorter shorts, these would be a good choice.

If I had known I would have selected a small rather than medium. They are comfortable, but I really have to cinch in the drawstring to keep them up. Awesome color
