If you need an orthotic like Hank Hill to sit on your riding lawnmower these are the shorts for you.

Very poor quality material - these shorts need ironing if you don't want them to be ridiculously wrinkled - they are very high maintenance, which most definitely should not be the case for a basic pair of shorts. I have tried a regular drier cycle and even used wrinkle-release products but they come out every time with the hems looking chewed up and the legs extremely wrinkled. Compared to pretty much every pair of shorts I've ever owned, these are the absolute worst - would not purchase again.

Received the wrong size. Bag was labeled with the correct size but the shorts were not the correct size. I returned them and was charged for the shipping eventhough the mistake wasn't mine.

Right belt loop to far from zipper, causes belt to raise above shorts.

Disappointed - the fabric is too thin and you can see through them.

Thea shorts are not a khaki color more of an olive green color

I wore these fishing on my kayak for a full day out in the sun. These literally look like they were bleached

WAY shorter than the picture!!!! Now I'm stuck paying returns shipping for a product that wasn't even close to the picture!

The sage color does not match what was on the website vs what I received. The color I received has a resemblance of a "hunter green". I am disappointed because these were to be worm for Mother's Day pictures and now I will have try and find some that match our theme in the midst of this COVID disaster!!

The color of these shorts fade really quick. I have purchased 7 pair of these shorts since school started and none of them are wearable.

So they run a size small, plus they are a cheap material that's already torn. Oh and btw, you have to pay $6 to return their crappy product! Guess I won't be shopping Columbia anymore.

I have purchased many shorts here and this is the first time they did not fit. They are made at least one size to two sizes too small. I don't know how Columbia can sell these with how they are sized. I had to return the item. The material was thin but the design was standard Columbia, which I like. Too bad they had bad quality control on this one.

Pant was nice but my husband is a true 36 and he couldn't even fit one of his legs into a 36 in this particular style. But in the PFG shorts they fit him perfectly

The Washedout Shorts seem promising at the start. However the material is easily torn or shredded by pretty much anything. I have owned 2 pairs and they have both ripped. The material is lightweight and they feel great to hike, swim, or casually wear around town. I doubt there is any ripstop feature to the material, which is strange because it was 2016 when I bought them but maybe that's too high of a standard. My second pair just got ripped up by a front loading washing machine or dryer. Just goes to show the durability of this product.

I purchased two pairs of these short. First time wearing them I walked to my couch sat down for twenty minutes then stood up. The fabric had ripped from the waist to the cuff down one side of the back. Might as well be made of tissue paper. I'm afraid to wear the other pair in public, I don't want to be charged with indecent exposure if they are the same as the first pair. Very poor quality material. For the sake of common decency don't buy these.

My husband loved these but had an incident where one of his two pairs ripped. I assumed it was a fluke and bought him 3 pairs for his birthday in June. Out of 3 pairs only one remains in tact. He is not hard on his clothes as he rarely gets out of his work clothes. It is now the beginning of August and the pair he is wearing literally just ripped from top to almost bottom and not on a seam. I am very disappointed in the quality and will think twice before buying Colombia shorts again.

I took a chance on these shorts and really enjoyed them the first two times I wore them. They fit perfect, were super comfortable and dried very quickly. BUT, the third time I wore them them split right in the seat. Not even on the seam, but in the middle of the fabric. I am not a big dude. I weigh a shade under 160 and am not acrobatic at all. How these shorts split, only the Good Lord knows. These shorts fall short (sorry,no pun intended) of what I've come to expect from Columbia. Like the title says, I'm very disappointed.
