Nice lightweight pair of shorts for the Spring/Summer.

It's one of the few traditional cotton shorts around. Was somewhat disappointed with the hook and loop closure for the back pockets, and only 5 belt loops instead of seven. The stitches were very small and took awhile to remove the small pieces of the hook and loops. They did shrink some from washing, a bit in the waist and about an inch in length. It was appreciated that they were available in 8" length, and they're cooler than the longer lengths. Not sure they're heavy duty enough to beat any brush.

I like the no button pockets so they won't snag on anything. The material is a little thin don't know if they will last, time will tell.

Good quality would buy them again

These shorts seem to be excellent quality - but unfortunately these ran too small in the waist and will be going back. It's odd because every other pair of Columbia pants I own fit perfect in the waist at this size. Definitely recommend going up an inch or two.

I did not keep these shorts, however, they I think they would be great for spring/summer months...versatile enough to be worn out and about or on the golf course...Waist and length seem to be true to length, however, these shorts have no room in the crotch, so I sent them back. I'm 6'5" 250lbs

Bought these shorts along with 2 other similar style shorts from Columbia at the same time. All 34" W. Other styles fit correctly, but these ran very small. I wear 32 W jeans, but could barely get these buttoned.

Just ok. Better if L & R rear pockets had better security, e.g., zippers. Or at least left pocket. Left pocket for all drivers using US driving, (left side), for driving.

Runs small in waist. Need one waist size larger. Length is good. Lighter fabric than other Columbia shorts. Probably won't order again.

Columbia: If you want to reduce costs be smarter. Don't compromise the quality of your products. Too thin. I will return it.

Material is way too light weight. I don't see them lasting too long.

The light blue color you can see the pockets. Very light material. It's a shame the cut was perfect.

Light weight and comfortable. However, the fabric is so thin that the shorts are see-through. You can easily see the pockets and everything else

The shorts are great. However, the color shown was misleading. I wanted the dark khaki color as shown. However, it was labeled as sage. I though that was strange but ordered the shorts anyway. Sure enough, the shorts were not the color shown but in fact a green color. We needed the shorts immediately, so I chose not to send them back. However, we now have two pairs of these with little to match.

You get what you pay for. Cheap shorts. Run small and tight.

Love the material, but they run small and have very little stretch. Bought 4 pairs in sz 34 even though I normally wear a 32/33 and they were too tight without any stretch in the waist. There's much better values out there if you can live without the Colombia patch.

I bought these for my husband who is not particularly picky but he said he wouldn't buy them again and in fact gave them away after wearing them only twice. He liked the fabric but said that they would not stay up without a belt, the pockets were too deep and the velcro closure on one of the pockets tore almost immediately.

I really wanted to like these shorts. I bought 2 pairs. The first pair ripped at where the pocket joins the leg when I reached in to get my cell phone out. It tore the stitching. (I have a regular size cell phone). Columbia returned them and sent a new pair. The new pair did the same thing and also tore on the front of the leg a little. I am not sure what happened, but noticed a reasonably sized hole there after maybe 4 wearings. The original second pair that I have purchased is now showing signs of the stitching pulling at the pockets at both of them. This has left a bad taste in my mouth for Columbia. You can go to the big box stores and get better quality.

After many shorts and pants purchased and all fitting well, these pants are either sized incorrectly or not made by Columbia. How else could they be so mis-sized. Nice fabric though.

Just ordered these shorts and the Button falling off after three washings.

I wear a size 32 waist. These 32 are so tight I can barely button them and they are so thin they are see through. I just found out I have to pay for shipping if I return them. I've always been pleased with Columbia quality until now but this is the last time I will order from them.
