Shorts seem to be good quality but a bit lighter weight than I had expected. Good for the price and should provide long causal use. Fit just fine and arrived quickly.

I have 3 other pairs of these same shorts, different colors of course. I am small in stature and would like a 6 in. Inseam option.

Really like these shorts, very comfortable material. They do run on the small size though so suggest ordering next size up

I bought two pairs of these shorts. One pair fits perfectly however, the other is too small in the waist for me to wear.

Decent pair of shorts. Fabric is a bit on the thin side. Should be nice when the temps and humidity climb. Makes me wonder how durable they will be.

Great shorts but the color wasn't what I thought it would be. I expected India Ink to be black, but it turned out to be gray.

I really enjoyed the comfort and fit I used them for golf and fishing. each time they performed great I will buy more of these

These are a great pair of shorts. They are cotton poplin, but when I received them I was surprised by their lightness. They have nice movement and are very comfortable.

I like the style and fit but I'm thinking the color is fading and getting small white spots. Not sure how that could happen since I've only worn them twice.

Quality and fit are good my dad loves the deeper pockets but after washing and drying they were extremely wrinkled. He doesnt iron and hes very particular about how he looks and his clothes. He said he could wear these to mow the yard he guessed.

The fabric is almost kleenex thin. I was surprised by how fragile they feel.

Too big. Don't know why every style that Columbia makes has to fit differently. My son wears a 30 in one style, a 32 in another style so very hard to order online

Great lightweight, comfortable, quick to dry shorts, but the issue is they snag on things and rip at the crotch and pockets easily. I have thrown out 3 pair that can't be worn this season. Will buy again but I'll wait till their on clearance.

Color on photo of "Sage" looks more like traditional khaki. What was delivered was more of a green tinted khaki. Size runs a bit small, mine is a tight 36. Fabric is a bit on the thin side, was hoping for a sturdy thick cotton fabric.

Good shorts. A bit to see through for me. Had to buy same color boxer briefs to wear under.

An ok short except the button closure thread broke first thing. I have seen other complaints along this line.

Nice style, basic good looking shorts but faded from the sun quickly on the tops of the leg and fabric wrinkles easily.

I usually purchase Columbia's ROC shorts in 30 waist and they have always fit perfectly. However, the Men's Washed Out shorts I recently purchased in 30" waist please were two inches too big. So, be aware that sizing may differ from what is listed. They appear to run a little big...at least that was my case.

Unlike most previous Columbia purchases, this item ran very small.

I am a XXL and ordered the city great in a 44. They were huge. But, I ordered sky blue in the same 44 and they fit. I believe I should have ordered a 42 being a XXL.

Bought two different pairs on line. Other pair fit well. These were way small.It took them 8 days to get them, even after paying for expedited shipping. Wasn't going through hassle of sending them back, so will see if they will stretch out a little.

I purchased one pair of these two summers ago - didn't get many chances to wear them but liked them enough to buy another pair last summer - still not getting many chances to wear them. This summer I've worn them several times. It took me a while to figure it out, but wearing these shorts was causing a pain from the crotch being too tight. The crotch of these Washed Out shorts doesn't have the typical gusset found in men's bottoms. It's disappointing finding something like this so long after the initial purchase. Otherwise, the Washed Out shorts were fine. I really like cotton poplin fabric for summer bottoms as they are lightweight yet fairly durable. The pockets are decent and the shape is not as baggy as a Modern Classic fit would imply. It's too bad they are kind of uncomfortable - I was close to buying more colors.
