Perfect all around shoe. Ideal for bunions as there are no seams in that area. Not much for arch support. I had to buy inserts. After trying several pairs of shoes, these were the keepers.

If you are looking for a running shoe that is comfortable, light weight, and long lasting, then this is the shoe for you! In my review of this New Balance running shoe I am going to look at cost, style, fit, durability, color, and the brand. As an active individual who enjoys comfort but doesn't enjoy spending a ton of money I am very impressed with New Balance as a brand. Their shoes are very affordable. Usually I will not spend this much money but I wanted to give the brand a try and I had been having problems with my legs and feet while running. For example, I was getting cramping in my calves as well as pain in my feet. Every time my feet hit the ground it was as if needles were poking the bottom of them. So, I thought, I would try and invest some extra money into my running shoes to see if this affected how my legs and feet would feel. It was well worth it! I couldn't believe the difference! It was as if I was running on clouds! I usually wear a five and a half normally but they truly fit the best when I bought a size six. There was no rubbing on my heels, toes, or ankles! They are just comfortable! New Balance has a wide range as well as a wide variety of athletic shoes which allows for a range in price, which, is great for anyone's wallet! I bought the black with pink as I am not much for color but I thought a dash of bright pink would be just fine! They are tasteful but fun! They have so many different colors and patterns that I think that was the hardest part possibly! They truly have a style and color for everyone! I also wanted a shoe that wouldn't fall apart a month after I got them. I run three to fives times a week in all weather so I needed running shoes that could hold up to my standards. New Balance brand held up very well! I actually had to replace them due to wear in the arches and not the outward appearance. I only have this probably because I am rather short and I have extremely high arches and small feet so when I cannot feel the bottom of the shoes against the arch of my feet anymore I get new shoes other wise some of my leg pain will return. This brand has an amazing design that will fit everyone's feet! I love them!

These are very nice as an everyday shoe. I like that they're not bulky. The heel area is not very fitted, so I wouldn't choose this as a running or serious hiking shoe. I find the support and cushioning to be just right.

Light weight exercise shoe. I took out the removable sole & put in my own. The shoe runs about a 1/2 size small. I am usually a 7 1/2 Medium. I had to exchange it for an 8, which was slightly short with my usual socks. I got some lighter weight socks which worked fine. There's not a lot of support, but the insole helps.

Nice, lightweight summer sneakers. I purchased half size larger to accommodate my orthotic insoles which works fine. There is very little cushioning or support overall. The yellow is super bright!

I had been having some trouble with plantar fasciitis and thought the solution would be a softer cushion on my shoe. These felt immediately comfortable, but after 7 hours on my feet in these shoes I thought I was going to collapse. Not good. I believe the problem is not enough arch support and since I've been wearing these around for a month or so I can't return them! ;-) However, they are truly well cushioned and are a great feel for walking or shopping if that's your purpose for buying them. They're pretty nice looking, also, and they come in wide, which is not always available. Good overall shoe, but not if you have foot pain.

First, I am not a kicks aficionado, but I saw the red color and was hooked. I was looking for a comfy shoe to walk in. (I run in Brooks Dyad.) These fit the bill and walked me comfortably over 50 miles in Tokyo, supporting my feet very comfortably. The sole has great traction, the upper is light and very breathable. It's almost sock-like. The heel has a great cushioning insert which I appreciated for all the asphalt I was pounding. For walking, it was a great and stylish pair of sneakers.

This is a super cute shoe that runs true to size. I ordered the 5. However, I don't like that the sides are cut low and a lot of my sock shows. If you wear a size 5, you know that low cut socks never look like they should because they don't fit our tiny feet! The shoes looked silly even with low cut socks. I bet someone with a larger shoe size would not have this problem because their socks fit correctly. Sadly, I returned this shoe.

These aren't quite as comfortable as I would like. They feel very narrow. I like the look of them, I just can't wear them for anything other than running around. I wouldn't really exercise in them if I plan on doing any kind of cardio.

These shoes are adorable. I have big feet and they do not look huge in these. They are lightweight, but the forefoot is quite flexible,so this may or may not be a good thing for you, depending on your needs. Also,do not expect much cushioning in the forefoot area. They tend to feel a bit thin in that area, but overall these are not bad little sneakers, and Zappos' service is great!

I bought these shoes based on a recommendation out of Shape magazine. Best decision ever! These tennis shoes and the lightest shoes I have ever purchased. It feels like you aren't even wearing anything. They are also very "breathable". My feet do not get hot when I am working out. I bought these shoes primarily for exercise classes at the fitness center, but have ran in them as well. I would not recommend buying this shoe as your primary running shoe. Not enough support. Otherwise a great shoe!

These shoes are cute, lightweight, comfortable, and the price was right. My only complaint is that they don't have great arch support so after wearing a bit, my feet are rolling in a little.

Very comfortable shoes. Only problem is the mesh lets in water, so if I walk on a wet lawn my socks get wet. I like that the inner sole is flat, without one of those annoying arch bumps.

I saw these shoes recommended on the Today Show. I do not run so these shoe are for the all-day-long marathon that is my life. I did have to return the 9.5 for a 10 so, for me, they run a little short. You have to know that Zappos is the best at returns. I love Zappos and I really like these shoes.

Such nice shoes but the side padding inside the heels are awful. I have problem feet and the 711's are hard to find. I wish you still had the 715's they were the answer to people that dont have perfect feet!

These are a nice-looking shoe with what seems to be a great amount of support, a stable feel and durability. Unfortunately the opening rim of the shoe around the ankles is very rigid. It hits against the bottom of my ankle bones and is too painful to keep these shoes. They also fit rather wide. Other than those aspects,, a nice shoe.

I ordered these online, and when I received them, they were too small. I have never encountered this issue before; all of my previous New Balance shoes fit me very well. I must return them....

I always wear a size 9 in women's and I was even a little nervous about getting them in wide because I thought they might be too loose. The opposite was actually true. My toe was jammed right up against the end. I had to return them because there was no way I could wear them being that small.

Love the shoe, but it runs really small. I even got the wide and this shoe is really tight on my small feet.

I am disappointed in this new version of 711 Mesh Trainers. I own 3 pairs of 711v.2 and they are roomier, and have more cushioning than this version. I wish NB would stick with versions that work for most of us. When comparing the two versions side by side, I can see that the newer is of less quality, and cheaply made.

The item is great except that it wore a hole into top of the shoe quite quickly.

Online, the Marblehead with Conch Shell looks to be in the "bronze" family of colors. However, upon receiving - it's grayish blue. Which isn't what I wanted at all. I love the 711 - but this photo doesn't reflect the actual color. Sent them back.

The shoe is OK. But the insole is too soft and has deteriorated much too soon. I contacted New Balance about how to find a replacement and they said they don't offer them. I don't need an orthotic insole just a decent insole. A previous pair of New Balance fitness shoe had a much better insole.
