Good

These sandals have a slight heel, which caused my feet to slide forward. As a result, my feet pushed towards the front of the sandals and caused pain as my toes continually pushed into the thong.

These were OK. Cute but the strap between the toes was uncomfortable for me. Scratchy - seemed to rub my toe. I can't imagine wearing them for very long.

I previously purchased these sandals in blue. Unfortunately, this particular pair in brown did not fit properly on the right foot only since the manufacturer attached the left piece to the right foot. If you measure the strap attached to the toe piece for both the right and the left shoes you will discover that the straps are the same measurements for both outer straps. Thankfully I was able to reorder these shoes in another color.

Born always makes comfortable shoes. Unfortunately this shoe was too wide and I have purchased/tried on other Born shoes in my normal M width without having an issue. When you have already have a long, narrow foot, the last thing you want is a too wide flat sandal.

These were cute and had a comfortable footbed, but seemed very narrow. I usually take a normal width and occasionally a narrow, but I felt like I kept falling off the edges on these.

They were cute and fairly comfortable but just seemed kind of flimsy, so I decided to return them.

Hard to adjust because the leather is so soft it won't go through the buckle strap. I have to slide them on and off instead of unbuckling them. Other than that cute, comfort is better than average.

it's very pretty but runs small!at least half if not a full size.

Loved these sandals and wore them around the house all day...trying to make the annoying rubbing on my right big toe go away. Alas, I have learned over lo these many years...if they don’t feel perfect right out of the box, they’re never going to be perfect. The toe strap was fine on my left foot, but seam on the right shoe was just THAT much too close and it rubbed. Boo hoo! Sending them back.

I own several pair of Born shoes (all size 9), these run extremely small. Returning for a size larger. Hoping they will fit properly.

These are cute but were too small. The straps also felt kind of flimsy to me, like they might break with wear. It’s a bummer because I had a similar pair years ago and loved them, but these were a no-go for me.

These are beautiful shoes but the straps are much taller than my foot (if that makes sense?). They are loose and cannot be tightened which means my feet slip around and are unstable. I would also need to drill another hole in the strap to make the buckle fit tightly. If the straps could be adjusted more snugly, I think they would be great, comfortable sandals. My feet are pretty skinny/narrow/bony so if you have a little more meat on yours, you will be fine with these! Also, if you are ordering gray...these are more taupe than gray. That's another reason I returned them.

I really wanted to like it. It's hard to find sandals that have a bit of support and don't like grandmotherly. While these look good, the thong is positioned inappropriately (too far to the side). It is extremely scratchy. I can't see how I could take 10 steps in it without pain. Luckily it's easy return with zappos

The size was true, but the arch support was just not there. Secondly, the piece/area between the big toe and the second toe on the left shoe was very uncomfortable. Third, the color description was navy, but the shoes I received were a light blue.

I was so excited to get these, they are adorable, go with everything, the straps stay on well, and seemed totally comfortable out of the box, gave them a 5 star review.... but here's the update: the cheap Target sandals I had that these were supposed to replace, I had them for at least 2 or 3 years, wore those every day on two trips to Brazil, and never felt uncomfortable. The Born Mai, although sturdier construction and real leather, I wore walking around my neighborhood on a hot day and was starting to regret wearing them by the end of the walk. The seam that goes right under the ball of the foot becomes noticeable, the strap starts to rub along the big toe, and the tiny lift at the heel that is just a hair smaller than the footbed starts to feel wobbly. They are lovely for low-key activities in warm weather, but not great for much walking. So I ended up buying a new pair of the Target sandals too. More expensive is not always better....

I usually like Born shoes a lot; these were just meh. The look was okay, and if they had lived up to the hype for me (probably great on others), I would have kept. Needed a comfy shoe for standing/walking a lot, and this was just not it. Thong felt tight, shoe felt very flat and lacked support.

Sandals are extremely comfortable! I ordered the white (which looks pure white in the online photo). In real life it’s more of a sand color. I’m choosing to keep them since they are so comfortable and match other outfits, but I’m still in search of a pure white sandal. That is my reason for giving a 3 since finding a white sandal was the whole reason I purchased them.

I love the style of these shoes. I was very disappointed? in the fact that there was no arch support at all and even though the footbed was padded it wasn't padded enough for me. The straps were comfortable with no rubbing but even with the heel strap tightened my feet kept sliding around. Great on looks but that's about it. I couldn't walk two blocks in these. Sending back.

I really wanted to keep these as the leather was super soft and the bottom had nice cushion but the width of the shoe was so narrow that so much of my foot went beyond the shoe. I do not have wide feet. Plus the show was so soft my foot slid out to the sides when I walked. The bottom of the sandal needs to be wider.

They seemed flimsy and didn't fit well on my 9.5 feet. I don't have overly wide feet, but I felt like I was hanging over the edges a little bit. Adorable onscreen, but the fit made them just not the right shoes for me.

Returning these. They're super comfy, but the gray color is really blah.... wish it were a few shades darker or metallic.

I'm a fan of Born shoes so I really wanted to like these. I love the style - exactly what I was looking for - but there's not much to these shoes and I can't justify the price for so little support. For a Born shoe, I expect more than minimal padding in the footbed.

Not all straps adjustable, so for other 7AA/AAAA heels ladies, this one will not work. Yes, I know: it's not marketed for a narrow foot, but sometimes I get lucky! So sad--love the look/feel of this leather sandal!

I liked the style but my small toes landed in the wrong place. Also , not enougharch support.
