I wear a 10 in other brands, but 9½ in Born. This fit perfectly in the Mai sandals. The brown will go with everything, but the other colors are awesome. My only complaint is with the strap keeper. It is sewn in and immobile so excess strap just hangs out. I always have to fasten straps at the shortest hole, so it is a problem with two different Born styles I own. It is still winter, so I have not had an opportunity to give an opinion on wear, but they are comfortable and cute.

Really love the look of these sandals. I had to return my first pair though because they do not run in half-sizes and the first pair was too big at a 9. The pair I kept would be completely perfect if it was a half-size bigger instead of an 8. Do love the sandals, though!

If you are between sizes, opt down for a narrow foot and up for a wider foot. I am usually an 8.5 in Born, so I opted for the size 8. The straps worked well for my somewhat narrow feet -- always tricky in sandals -- but I felt like my heel would roll off the slightly padded footbed. I tried a 9 at a store. The footbed didn't look too big, but my foot was swimming in the straps, and the back strap wouldn't stay over my heel. Overall, well made and comfortable -- if pricey. Nice style, not too orthopedic looking. The Panna Cotta (silver) color is a bit more like weathered gold than silver. A very nice, versatile color that would work with brown, black, etc. The back strap has a little elastic at the buckle, meaning you can easily slide the sandals on and off without unbuckling, which is great. Overall, a likable sandal, but the sizing just didn't work for me.

These sandals are very cute. I normally wear an 8 M and the 8 M fit true to size for me. The leather upper parts are somewhat loose, I wish I could tighten them, but that is the only drawback. I wanted the natural leather uppers, but Zappos sold out. I ordered the silver color and they are very pretty. The sandals are comfortable and stylish for a flat sandal.

I ordered two pairs. the baby blue, because you NEVER see a nice sandal in this color, and the silver one. Neither of these colors are true. The shoe is good, typical Born, comfortable etc. but the colors are off. The silver is absolutely gold and that "baby blue" is turquoise. It's weird because the sole bottom has leaves that are actually baby blue? I kept them but I was disappointed they were not light blue.

These fit nicely and I like the slightly padded sole. Previously I owned their flipflops, and the slippery sole makes it somewhat hard to walk properly in them. I also have wide feet that need a little bit of structure in a shoe. These sandals keep my foot in place. They are great for hot summer days when running errants etc.

Great, versatile sandal. I got a similar Born style last year and wore them non-stop. These are a little less flattering to my wide feet, but they fit! They are pretty comfortable as the sole has some padding.

These are comfortable sandals that look nice with pants, skirts and shorts. I love the gold shimmer throughout the pattern. The leather may rub the second toe a bit, but that's common with any thong. They are true to size.

These were comfortable right out of the box. I was really looking for a flat sandal that could go casual/dressy and this is definitely the perfect blend between the two. I can wear with jeans, dresses, shorts, etc. I really wanted something that didn't go between the toes but just couldn't find the right shoe (from Born or anyone else). I took these brand new on a beach vacation and while I wouldn't walk for miles in them, they were perfectly comfortable for walking to/from dinner. I have an older pair of Born sandals, similar style, that is a much better travel/walking shoe. I love it because it is leather - so looks a little nicer than a Teva/Chaco style sandal. Sadly the footbed on this style is not as substantial. If I had known they would discontinue it I would have bought multiple pair in every color. In the absence of that older model I love so much, this one is good enough.

I normally wear a 7 so last year based on reviews that they ran big I went down a size. They don't come in half sizes so I ordered a 6 and they were way to small. I returned them and didn't bother with a 7 because reviews. This year I decided to ignore the reviews and try them again, this time I bought a 7 in black. They fit perfectly. I then ordered the metallic and they felt a little bit bigger. I put the straps on the last hole and they work fine. If they stretch, I'll add a hole. I wore them again today and walked all over a college campus, they are super cute, super comfortable and don't need any breaking in. I have two pair and am considering other colors.

As previous reviewer mentioned, my feet felt like they were "sloshing around" in these sandals, which surprised me since my feet are a bit on the wide side. I wish half sizes were available as the sandal seemed otherwise comfortable and well-constructed.

These are super cute! I have had them in two colors for almost a year. They are about as comfortable and supportive as a pair of minimal sandals can be. The straps are well placed, the footbed has decent cushioning. That said, they are still minimal sandals and I have mild plantar fasciitis so I can't wear them if I have to do much walking. That's not a complaint; these are way better than most. My big comfort issue with them is the footbed, which Born is using it on all of its sandals. It gives me serious blisters on the bottoms of my feet (!) and the embossed pattern is irritating. These were salvageable by adding a ball-of-foot cushion, but another style I had to throw out because I couldn't cover all the weird places I was getting blisters. If Born didn't fit me so well, I'd never buy another pair after spending days barely able to walk from blisters. They are good for slightly wide feet, like most Born shoes are.

Beautiful, soft leather. Pretty sandal. I really wanted to love these. However, my feet are somewhat narrow and there weren't enough holes in the strap to tighten it enough. Also, it was very difficult to thread the strap through the hole as the leather was so soft. I had to return them.

I love these. However, they did fit a half size smaller. I normally wear a size 9 and have several shoes from Born in a size 9, but these were short in the thong and my toes come right to the end.

Love Born shoes! Well made & comfortable right out of the box. They're made a bit wider than most shoes...my feet are not wide, most shoes are cut very narrow. I wear these sandals with skirts, dresses & jeans. My only complaint is the embossed footbed causes a sticking sound when walking. Giving 4 stars for this reason. Don't get me wrong, I have several Born shoes, boots & sandals.

I like these cute strappy sandal. They have some light cushioning in the footbed. I do agree with one reviewer as they fit a bit loose on your foot. I have a fairly bony foot and they aren't sloppy. I think that is what makes them comfortable and not rub. They run fairly true to size, perhaps a bit larger. I usually wear a 9-9.5 . and I got a 9 and it fits well. I wish they had been less expensive!

I purchased the black and turquoise pairs, and wish they had a brown pair. Light, comfortable sandal for the summer. It's a great shoe for work or light activity, but not for day trips where lots of walking and standing are required and not enough support in the shoe for that.

Super cute but not for me. For some reason the top outside top straps were not in the same place on the shoes. It made my right foot appear much larger than the left. Bummer. These are going back.

Very comfy. I'd prefer the base be more wide/flat (the way they do Born shoes is a little odd to me) but after wearing around office a few days I'm satisfied they'll be comfy for sure.

We ordered these for my teenage daughter. They are high quality and nice looking. However, we are returning them because she felt the straps were not as comfortable as she hoped. Perhaps it is because she has a very narrow foot. I would put up with getting toughened up to the straps if the foot bed offered sufficient arch support. Still, if you don't care about arch support and you are OK with getting toughened up to straps, these are really beautiful and practical.

These are very comfortable, flattering on the foot. I love the color...it's a bit softer than it looks which I really liked.

I loved these, but had to return. The orange is more of a yellow, and just fades against my feet. I wanted orange shoes that popped. I so wanted to keep these. They were true to size and very comfortable (typical Born shoes). But for this price, and I would still be on the hunt for orange sandals I just couldn't justify it. I'll watch them for a sale.

Nice shoe but a little short. Very good quality but not as comfortable as what I'm use to with Born shoes. The colors are not a brilliant tone, but a little subdued. Nice enough to keep but a little less than I had expected.

They were super comfortable, but I'm returning them. I am a teacher, and after trying them on at home, I'm fairly confident that they'd be comfortable even after a whole day on my feet. However, I was hoping for more versatile sandals for traveling -- I wanted comfortable shoes that could handle a notch below a real hike, a day walking around cobblestones, or a night out dancing. I opted for ones with ankle straps that seem much more secure; these feel like flip flops in comparison. These also look more like shoes you'd wear to work than anything else, so they wouldn't be as versatile as I personally wanted.

It is a decent walking sandal. I have a medium width foot. They fit fine, but the straps rub a bit.
