The jacket is very good quality and functions excellent, but the only problem is that it runs large on size.

I don't leave home without it! It is small enough to stuff in the small side pockets of by day pack and has kept me dry through many intense thunderstorms. After a year of heavy use only just starting to see some signs of wear (broken zipper) otherwise still works great. I would buy this again in an instance.

This jacket does a great job keeping you dry. I was out in the pouring rain for 30 minutes and I was completely dry after.

This rain jacket fits just as it should, perfect for over a T Shirt in the summer or another layer in the cooler months. Th pit zips are ideal for cooling off and breatability. Very waterproof!

I used this jacket on a cool drizzling day. Im from south Texas and sometimes we get that constant drizzle but it's still warm. The jacket keeps you dry and cool.

My bf had the previous model of this jacket but it was discontinued so when he lost it, it was replaced with this one. This jacket is perfect for the NW weather. It keeps him dry and the best feature for him are the undearm vents. This is the only Columbia rain jacket (that's not on the far expensive side) that has them. It's perfect for hiking or biking in rain where you work out but still can let out the heat. He's normally an XL but the L fits him perfectly.

I love this jacket because it is truly waterproof, breathable and packs down to almost nothing! I bought it large enough (Mens 2X) to go over my fleece and other layers I wear in the winter and still have room to move. I bought the bright green color because I like to be visible in the woods when hiking...especially during hunting season! Would have like it a bit brighter but it will work fine for viability.

Wore this a few times on the JMT. Mostly used as a windbreaker but did perform as expected on the limited showers experienced. The side underarm vents were the key reason of my selection of this jacket and they performed very well. Internal heat containment was expected but the inner wicking lining and vents definitely helped eliminate the sauna effect. Very light weight and packable to store in the backpack. Will keep this in my Jeep when mother nature throws curve balls.

Took awhile for a rainstorm here in CA, but have worn this jacket in 3 slight rains. Completely waterproof, have not over-heated in it so far. Made an excellent windbreaker I might add. Only curiosity is the little velcro tab at base of hood - adjusts the size of hood to maintain it staying on your head even in high winds. I wish there was a way to roll it up and secure it when you don't need the hood. PS. Columbia dictates how your nickname should be???!!!

This jacket is definitely rain proof! No need to dress warm underneath, the inside retains body heat. Purchased this jacket for myself. After trying it out, went back for a jacket for my husband. He likes the fit, ability to change how low the hood comes down and water proof zippers. Excellent jacket.

The jacket has a nice comfortable fit...not too fitted but not large either. The rainproof material coating is effective and looks it. I like the style of the pockets...large enough, yet hidden well. Many rain jackets have overly-large side pockets which run diagonally across most of each side...too much, in my opinion. The jacket is pack able too, but I have rather wanted to wear it so far. A definite 10/10.

These jackets are absolutely perfect. They are 100% waterproof, warm for a chilly day, breathable enough to wear them inside, and look great. I have 2 of them because I love them so much. Only advice I have for other shoppers is to pay close attention to the sizing. I have had previous jackets and had ordered a Large to match other jackets. The large was very large. This is the only Medium jacket I own, but fits perfect.

My only regret is that I should have ordered one size larger to facilitate layering. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the product.

The most breathable rain jacket I've ever had that still keeps you dry, and I love that it's pack-able. The external material feels almost like rubber coated nylon, light like a windbreaker but with the water protection of full rain gear without feeling like I'm wearing a trash bag/sauna all day.

Perfect jacket when layering in mountains during spring, summer and fall vacation activities. Sudden rain, sometimes sleet and crisp weather make this an ideal jacket to have on these week long treks. Even in gulf coast showers it's perfect.

I purchased one of these for my boyfriend and he loved it so much that we ordered another for my dad. Fits true to size - both men wear larges. Light weight enough to wear for hiking during summer storms. Both men love the underarm vents. Great piece for layering as well. Seems to be completely waterproof. Great quality and holds up well.

Immediately upon receiving this jacket I took it to RedRocks and gave it the ultimate test. An hour of rain & hail and with this jacket in conjunction with the Rebel roamer rain pants I was dry as a bone after the deluge passed. The water just beaded up but did not penetrate. Several people commented on what a great jacket that was. I highly recommend this product!

I purchase this jacket for a trip to Costa Rica. I'm a woman with broad shoulders, so I frequently wear a Men's jacket, because the Women's jackets are too tight in the shoulders for me. This was true here too. We were caught in several downpours during a day in the rain forest and these jackets performed exactly as expected. Everything stayed dry, including my camera which I zipped under my jacket. It made the day very fun and enjoyable to continue trekking in the pouring rain, without being soaked to the skin. The vents are nice, because it was in the 90s. The sleeve cuffs are good for adjusting at the wrists (the sleeves are long for me). The hood performed well. The jacket is somehow supposed to fold up into itself in an inner pouch or something. It would be nice it if came with instructions for folding into the pouch. We couldn't figure it out. All in all, it's a great jacket that I'll wear for many years to come.
