Living in Georgia rain can come at any moment, this jacket can handle any storm you throw at it. I have worn this jacket along with the Columbia rain pants in Hurricane weather the past two years and made it back inside dry as a bone. I gave it a good on the function because it can get wet on the inside from your own sweat. The jacket is very water tight but that also makes it keep in your moisture. I'm currently buying a second jacket to keep at work I love it that much. I am 5'11 200lb, I bought the XL. The XL is big on me but I use it during the winter to wear winter clothes under it. I'm sure the L would fit perfect.

Bought this for an upcoming trip and had the chance to field trial it during some nasty weather. One of my issues with truly pack able rain gear is that the sleeves tend to stick to you skin and make you cold even in warm climates. Not the case with this jacket, While the sleeves do touch the transfer of temps is not bad at all. Also, the vents work awesome! Allows air to escape when you working but does not let water in. Great jacket especially for this price.

Bought this for our son who is doing his residency at a college for athletic training working in all kinds of weather...he needed a light jacket that was water proof and easy to be mobile in. He loves it. Highly recommend. Columbia products are well made and great prices

After examining many Jacket, I decided to purchase this Jacket. I was looking for a Jacket to run in the rain that would be water resistant and ventilated. The jacket is lightweight, thin and suitable.

I work in public utilities. Staying dry is a constant challenge, even when it isn't raining. This jacket has not let me down. The jacket is well made, with tight seals. Zipper is a little tight but expected due to seal. Jacket fits loosely except the back of the shoulders when fully flexed forward. Of course this is being overly picky. Jacket is cooler than most rain coats, sheds water well, and keeps me from overheating when working. I'm 5'11 , 200lbs, 42" chest.

This raincoat repels water perfectly, looks stylish, and does exaxtly what it should. More pricey that their basic raincoat but this material is higher quality and the ourside zipper makes it so easy to take on and off

It does what it's suppose to. Looks really good, pack-able, lightweight and keeps you dry. And with the Zippers under the arms, overheating is non-existent. The hood is also one of the better things about this jacket. Even with a ball cap on water doesn't get inside. It also doesn't feel thick like a poncho. All in all a really great rain jacket.

I bought this as a replacement of an older Columbia jacket and is a great shell for light weather to extreme weather. Price point is great to value. I'll keep being a return customer.

The jacket arrived fast. I am impressed with the fit and look. I have worn it everyday for the last 2 weeks since I got it. I put it to the test when it rained, I stayed dry and the Omni-Wick Evap, allows the jacket to breathe from the inside out. I will be buying another one in a different color. This jacket also allows you to layer up under and stay warm.

A few features that make this a great jacket are the taped zipper and under-arm vents. I use this jacket for hiking, skiing, fishing...just about everthing. If its cold out, putting a fleece or extra layer is easy and makes this a great shell.

This jacket performs really well in rainy weather. Completely waterproof. I bought size medium and it fits about true to size, maybe a bit big. I usually wear 15.5 x 34 slim fit dress shirts and 41 regular suits. I'm 5'11" and weigh about 175. There is still some room in this jacket when wearing layers or a think wool sweater.

This coat fits the bill nicely! Great for traveling as it folds down to a compact package. Keeps you dry and seems to "breathe" as noted in the description.
