I bought theses sandals as I am tired of wearing my tennis shoes with inserts day in and day out. Especially since it's been way too hot. I've dealt with plantar fasciitis in my right foot since April. Some days are better than others, but for the most part I still have it. I have another pair of slide on Orthaheels with a velcro back that I wear occasionally. I need to get use to the high arch. Planning to wear these more often to see if it helps. So far just been wearing the sandal around the house to break it in. Orthaheel sandals were recommended by a friend, so I thought I'd give them a try. Hoping they help as I know my regular flip-flops have no arch support and aren't good for me. I was worried ordering a size down, but there is enough room about 1/4-1/2 inch in back.

The arch is too high for my foot, but otherwise it is super comfortable. I need a more moderate support.

The shoes were a present and she really enjoys them. They are comfortable and I am thinking of getting myself a pair. I had an issue with shipping but otherwise, they are excellent.

I was hesitant to get these because of other reviews saying how Orthaheel changed the style. My first pair from 2 years ago were perfect! This pair also fits really well. Yes, the fit and style have changed slightly but I also love this pair. When comparing my old and new pairs side by side, the new ones seem more narrow but the arch supports feels very similar and they are still comfortable.

Great for anyone with plantar fasciitis. I have a very high arch and was having trouble finding any shoes that had a high enough arch support to meet my foot. These fit the bill perfectly. They're very wide for my somewhat narrow foot but I don't mind if they'll help heal my plantar fasciitis.

They feel great on your arch. A little tight on top part of strap that rubs for a while until you break them in. Great for plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinitis.

This is my 7th pair of Orthoheel sandals, so obviously, I like them. They are terrific if you are having any problem with sore or aching heels. I will have to say that my last 2 pair were purchased after Orthoheel became Vionic, and the quality has definitely declined. The materials and construction are cheaper--but they still have the great support for the heel.

I like these shoes - the sole is super comfortable. They are the only pair of flip flops I've had that I can wear all day with total support and comfort. I wear a size 8 100% of the time and these fit but barley. There is no room on either end. Furthermore, the strap is very tight (and I don't have wide feet or high arch). It has stretched out after 3 to 4 wearings and they are fine now. It was just odd that they'd run a bit small. If anything, I thought they'd run big based on other pairs of shoes by Vionic. I'd recommend them...just a heads up - maybe order a size up or don't order if you have wide feet or high arch.

Nice summer flip flop if you want a nice support but like the look of a slim flip flop these are for you! I would have given it a 5 star but for me they were a little loose on top. I normally wear an 8 1/2 but had to go to a size 9 to fit. This could be why? I have a normal width foot. It was not too loose, so I am keeping. I just would prefer a little snugger around the top of my foot.

This looks like a terrific sandal for someone with high arches. It didn't work for me. I was looking for arch support but not that much. Otherwise, it is a very well made shoe.

Love the Stylish versatility and Super arch support of this sandal I wear every for every occasion! Size 7 is a tad long, yet arch support is perfectly centered for my feet. Greatest disappointments...heel bed isn't higher compared to ball of foot bed and foot bed has "stinky feet" odor after wearing outdoors in heat, the 1st of which influenced my not purchasing other styles of Vionic sandals. Other reviews were invaluable in my research of primarily high arch support sandals. Thank you, Orthaheel therapy makers and reviewers!

First of all, I have plantar fasciitis & this seems to be helping! I am size 7.5 with narrow feet. I ordered a 7 and and 8 and am keeping the 7, so fit is according to advice to order down. With a wider foot, this might not be the case. The color is more beige than gold--appears khaki almost--but I didn't want bright shiny gold, so that's ok. The arch support is "aggressive" according to my podiatrist. I have a high arch and I feel it. It's a little hard to get used to, but I've had the shoe on all day today and my heel does not hurt!!! That's very good news. I don't know if the arch support would bother someone with a flat foot. The toe thong could be a little thinner, flatter--it's round, but not hurting. The strap is lined with fabric--not super soft, but ok. The sole with which your foot is in contact is rubber (or similar), so my feet feel warm on this 95 degree day. It's not like a soft suede. But, I really want these to wear to pool and beach, so this is what I wanted. Flat flip flops were not working for me. So, I'm pleased with the choice.

Some reviews for Vionic said this brand runs large - I say the length runs true to size. However, these flip flops are too wide/roomy and I can't keep them on my feet. It is too bad since I love the arch support.

Love the foot-bed and the support. I thought the ribbon post would be soft and comfortable, but it wasn't for me. I also have a dorsal bunion on my right foot that was irritated by the strap - sorry Vionic. I'll have to try another style.

This is not an exciting shoe, however, if you need support for your arches it is terrifically comfortable. I wear these a lot and they look nice with jeans and capris.

I really like the arch support and footbed shape on these. They were a little bit heavy for my preference for flips, so that's the main reason I returned them. The straps were also a little bit loose, but that alone wouldn't have been a deal breaker. It's that plus the combination of the weight of the shoe. I have a need for good arch support (especially after breaking my foot two summers ago) and have relatively high arches and narrow feet. I tried a few other brands with similar arch support at the same time as these, so the Vionics just didn't make the cut this time. However, I'm glad I tried them and will have my eye on this brand in the future b/c they do seem to have some trendier styles. I usually end up with pretty boring or sporty-looking shoes for reasons of comfort, so it's refreshing to see the variety they have beyond just basic black and flips and slides that have arch support, but don't look like they are too bulky.

These shoes do relieve my heel pain, but they are very uncomfortable between my toes. Once I find a good fix for the latter, they'll be perfect.

I liked the look of these flip-flops OK, but my foot slipped around a bit too much in them. For an orthotic sandal, I like a more secure fit. Otherwise they were fine.

The arch support makes this such a comfortable flip flop! I was so excited when I started wearing it. But then by the end of the day the space in between my toes started to really hurt. Hopefully my skin just has to get used to the part in between the toes because it is stiff?

Strap is much too large for the size...and the shoe would be too short if I sized down a whole size. Excellent arch support, nice looking shoe...if you have a wide foot, this is the shoe for you. Great support.

These are cute and comfortable, but I did not like the plastic footbed. As I walked I felt like my foot was slapping on the footbed. While the sandal itself is comfortable, I would say the footbed is not so comfortable.

For those of us that need good support, the Tide II is a cheap version of the original Tide. Very disappointed in the new shoe. Will not be buying again & I have been a long time lover of these shoes.

They run big, so order one size down since they don't have half sizes. I wear 9-1/2, bought size 10 and they were way big. Had to reorder a 9 which fit great. I wore them for a day and my feet were sore, they have great arch support and wasn't used to that. Overall good quality.

I, too, had a pair of these back when the company was just Orthaheel. These are certainly different. The look is better, but the feel is different. The heel cup isn't as deep, but then again, the shoe is softer to walk on. The toe post does not fit me right or something. It digs in. I wear them every other day and alternate with my old ones! The quality seems fine. They are narrower than my old ones...not as sloppy of a feel. My previous Tides completely resolved my plantar fasciitis. They were a miracle. Now I wear them just because they are comfortable. If you're struggling with PF, give them a try. With Zappos awesome service, you can't go wrong.

Bought these for foot support (heel and arch), and easy on and off (like a slipper), and they succeeded in these areas. They're a rubber like material so not cuddly at all. If you have problem feet, you need these and you'll wear them. If you have no foot problems, you'll find something more attractive. I always order a size down for sandals - did so for these and that worked just fine (five rather than a six). I gave the sandals an overall 4 because of their support.
