I work in a hospital and am constantly on my feet. Walking, sometimes running from one floor to the other and on top of that I have constant knee pain. My first day of working in these I felt so relieved and like I found the miracle shoe. There is cushioning galore in these things. I am always looking for a shoe that provides shock absorbency for my knees and these definitely did that. I found that the cushioning took a lot of pressure off my knee joints. So why did I return them? These shoes run small (in my opinion). I am a true size 10 and as a matter of fact in other Asics I can wear a 10 with room to grow. I also felt these were narrow which is saying a lot for me because I have narrow feet. By the end of the day I found that my feet were sore. The design of this shoe is intended to cradle the foot for extra comfort and support but instead it's like a vice grip that by end of the day left my Achilles heel hurting and gave me a limp. The design of the shoe where the stripes run is just and the design cut into my toes a little. This could also be because I ordered in a 10 and because this shoe ran small these things affected me. Overall I found that the cushioning did not out weight the pain at the end of the day. I will have to start my search all over again.

BIG disappointment. It's strange because I've never had a shoe that didn't hurt while I was wearing it, but made my foot hurt the entire next day.

This used to be the best shoe. I cannot count how many people I have convinced to buy this shoe including everyone one of my family members. This is now a cheap poorly made shoe that I wouldn't even give away to a stranger. The shoes have no support and feel like something I would pay $15 for at Kmart. It started with the Kayano 19 and obviously they have not lost enough customers yet to go back to quality.
