These are my favorite athletic shoes I have ever owned. Comfort in a shoe is very important to me and these are extremely comfortable. I don't think I will ever buy another brand again and the extra money spent was well worth doing. I always buy 1/2 size up from my normal shoe size when purchasing sneakers because of what I read years ago in a running magazine. I usually walk about 3 miles per day with some jogging included in the walk. They provide just the right support for my flat feet. Love these shoes and will definitely buy another pair when these wear out.

These are the shoes I've been looking for. They are so comfortable. The cushioning is over the top. If you're looking for cushion and stability these are a good bet.

I have been purchasing Asics Gel Kayano for a long time. I wear them for 3 mile walks & they are the best sneaker I ever wore. They fit true to size and are comfortable on the first wearing & every one thereafter.

Very happy with the shoes. Accidentally ordered a half size bigger than I meant to, but they are still fine. I always buy Kayanos and I am always happy with them!

Originally bought these for my 15 year old daughter at a local shoe store. Once she tried these, she didn't like anything else! They are on sale at Zappos for a great price, so I ordered her a pair to have when her current ones wear out. Great stability shoe without being too stiff, and plenty of cushion.

These are great shoes, not only for running, but walking and daily work-outs. I originally was fitted with the Asics Gel Kayano 20 at a running store and ever since then have picked this brand. The toe area is wider which also is helpful to me.

Love this running shoe! Tried a different Asics model for a while, as well as a Mizuno, and still love these the best.

I was just looking for a cushy jogging shoe. I've had Asics before so wanted to try one with a sturdier sole. I have a narrow foot so can have problems finding a sports shoe that doesn't swim off my feet. Seems fine so far.

Love these shoes. Absolutely the most comfortable running/walking shoe I have ever owned. I bought these for a back up, once my others wear out!

These are amazing runners. I've had 18, 19 and now 20. All have been supportive (I pronate a bit) and very cushioned (I like a soft ride for my 10 miles/week). I tried Glycerins and my form fell apart as soon as I got tired - pain! Went right back to Kayanos and I'm so happy. And Zappos price-matched when they went on sale after I bought them. Love!

These shoes are very comfortable and supportive. I pulled them out of the box and walked around an entire city with NO break-in time needed. Half-sizes make this shoe legit. Buy it.

For the first time in my adult life, I have a pair of shoes that fits well right out of the box. Cute women's shoes, too! My feet are very hard to fit, since they are wide in the toe box, narrow in the heel, and quite low volume. With my custom orthotics, these shoes feel like they were made for my feet. (Note: Shoes would have been a little too "deep" for my feet without the orthotics.) Thank you, thank you Asics for making a women's 12.5. Those of us with large feet need half sizes, too. I'm grateful at least one shoe company realizes this. I have the Kayano 19, but the 20 just feels better on my feet. Perhaps a bit roomier in the toe box / bunion area. While both shoes are fairly supportive, it seems like this support is more smooth and even in the Kayano 20. The only thing I would change would be the color offerings in the wide and narrow sizes. I have the White / Island Blue color. This is a very nice color that would work well for any age. My mom, who is in her early 60s, would like a pair in a wide width. She thinks the black / plum / blue offered in the wide width is very bright for someone her age (at least in a size 12). Offering an additional color in the wide and narrow sizes would be great. Asics, these are perfect. Don't change a thing. Zappos, thanks for not giving up on me.

Just a quick one....I am typically the girl that goes for last season's (or the season before even...)Gel-Kayano in order to save a bit of money. Huge fan of the shoe. However, I splurged on the GK 20 due to buying in to the hype about the updates and I am SO GLAD that I did. I still rotate my shoes, but that even drives the point home more to me how great the latest version is. Well worth the price and I am afraid I am going to have to get other 20's for my rotation.

I have been wearing Gel Kayanos for several years and find they are good stability shoes. I run outdoors so the soles wear out fast and hence must get new ones about every six months, timing these purchase with ongoing sales. I got a stress fracture on my right ankle so, after it healed, my orthopedic surgeon told me to have therapy and wear orthotics when running. I did both and my therapist said these are the best shoes for pronators. Because of the orthotics, I bought half a size larger, 8.5. I have to add that the 20's seem to have less support and cushion than the 19's. Finally, color choices were not that great this year. I bought the purple/white/lavender combination because, all in all, I do want to be visible when I'm running outdoors!

Runs 1/2 size larger than my other Asics. Returned them and had new shoes in no time. Amazing, quick service.

Fantastic shoes for over pronators and those with sensitive feet. I must have tried ten pairs of Asics and Brooks shoes before finding the Gel-Kayano 20. Brooks changed the fit of their Ariels, but these Asics came through. I bought two pair. This shoe along with a Feetures light cushioned sock have controlled my edema and pronation problems. I don't even use my custom orthotics in these. Nice wide toe box, so I went with a M. Went up a half size from my normal shoe size. I've been wearing them for almost three months and still love them.

I love these shoes. They come in narrow and hug my feet nicely, keeping my knees stable. They are great for walking around and the dark color is great with yoga pants.

Love these running shoes! I have a hard size to fit -- 11 2A in athletic shoes -- and some shoes in that size still don't feel slim enough to hug my feet without the fabric gathering at the toe, which is uncomfortable. These shoes fit better than any other Asics (or other brand) I've owned. I'm not a runner but do a lot of walking on hills, stair climbing, and gym workouts, and these feel great. For me, because options are limited, they are worth the very high price.

These are great. I took a long walk with them right out of the box. No break in time was needed! I cannot say that I love the colors. But the fit is good!

This is a great running shoe. Extreme cushioning and support. I have gotten several compliments on the color already. The first pair I ordered were defective and Zappos took care of it. The same model wasn't available so they upgraded me to this shoe and Zappos paid the difference. Thanks for great customer service!

Comfortable, supportive shoe. Since I am between sizes, I went with 1/2 size larger than my usual for a good fit.

I planned on wearing these shoes just for my exercises and walks, but now I wear them just for fun! They are very eye-catching. And people want to know where I bought them. I wear a 5.5 shoe. This size is difficult to find, but the ASICS were readily available. I'm not a "technical" shoe geek so I cannot comment on their specs.

This is the second pair of Asics Gel-Kayano's I've owned. I'm 59 yo, 150 lbs, and have a skinny over pronating foot that, with age and weight, is now size 8 instead of 7.5. I chose medium width instead of narrow since I can lace the medium tighter to my foot and still have plenty of room in the toe. Asics has been a better fit for my foot than other brands. It lets my foot "roll" the right way and offers plenty of cushion.

This shoe was really a difficult fit. I am usually a 9.5aa in nb run shoes and others but the 9.5 n in this was too narrow with socks. Beautiful colors so I bought the 9.5 medium- not the most cushioned but supportive.
