This was the 2nd order I placed for boots from Zappos. The 1st ones were too small, so I tested the return policy. It was exactly as advertised. I saw the credit to my account in less than a week. Then I ordered this boot in brown. They are extremely light, much like a pair of running shoes. When I first put them on, I was inclined to return them. They felt tight across the top of my foot and toes. I kept trying them on and walking around the house over the next week. They felt better each time, until I decided to keep them. Now I wear them every day, to work or when we go out. I plan to order another pair in black right away. I usually wear a 10 1/2, but I ordered an 11. I am about 225 and the cushioning in these boots is perfect, without being too soft. I have problems with my feet and ankles and I love wearing these. I highly recommend them.

Shoes as light as a feather, yet remarkably comfortable and sturdy. As with most Rockports, I have to buy the wider option, but this is universally true across the board for me when it comes to Rockport (consistency with sizing).

I have a love-hate relationship with these shoes. They are surely very comfortable and very stylish shoes. They are great for everyday use, look great with chinos and jeans, and can be fairly dressy. The reason that I hate them is because they are absolutely horrendous in rain. I know these shoes are not waterproof and they do not advertise themselves in that way, but they are positively the worst shoes I have ever owned when it comes to rain. It is like they were designed to get your feet wet. I sprayed the uppers with some Kiwi spray which certainly helped with the water coming in on the top, but there is still water coming in from the sole. The sole is apparently designed in a way that water somehow enters where the pieces come together. So even during a very light sprinkle, if the ground is wet, your feet will be wet. After a few times wearing these shoes in the rain, they smell horrible. I am very disappointed in this design, I expected more for this price. Overall, I like the shoes, but if I had known they would be this terrible in the rain I probably would have looked elsewhere.

Awesome shoes from the first I put them on. I wore them everyday so far in frozen rain, snow & rain & they stayed dry. They are great ion the heat of Florida too. The size is a perfect fit and they are made well. I am going to order me another pair.

I had to order 4E wide and a half size larger (size 12) to allow room for plastic leg brace (footplate of brace fits inside shoe) due to spinal cord injury.brace allows me to not use a cane. The shoes are very cool, lightweight, and comfortable.

May be the best shoe I ever bought. Light comfortable and easy on my bad knee. Getting all kinds of good comments from people I work with which is unusual, who comments about your shoes. Great with jeans or for business casual. no break in required feels great first time. If you have a wide foot I would go with the 4E versus the 2E. getting another pair now in different color. Not a bad weather shoe i.e. snow. great for hanging and walking.

Very comfortable shoe but the sole is kind of soft since it is not rubber. These are not shoes I would wear when the weather is bad out as there would be no traction. But they look great and I have gotten compliments on them.

I love these shoes. Bought them to try out, unsure if I would like their appearance in person, so to speak. Once I tried them one, I didn't care what they looked like because they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have generally average feel except they are quite wide for their length - 9 4E. These shoes felt like home the minute I put them on. They have held up really well over the years and have made me a fan of Rockport shoes. Hope very much they begin producing these again so I can buy more.

These shoes are so lightweight. It's like you're barefoot. This color can stain fairly easily so be careful. Overall they hold together well.

Buying shoes online is always a worry but since I found ZAPPOS that worry has been almost eliminated because they really are "Powered By Service". I have brought my second pair of these boots and they are such great quality, lightweight and comfortable I will probably buy more.

High quality boot. My husband had a wide foot, and the wide size in this boot fit well. He said it was very comfortable. Looks great too! Would recommend this boot.

I cannot believe how light these are. It is incredible. I have been wearing these to work and they feel great. I love the look and the feel. I will definitely be purchasing more of the same type of footwear from Lockport. They have done a fantastic job in designing the Lite 2 Chukka.

This is the first pair of shoes with laces that I have bought in about eight years. Guess I'm lazy. I was quite pleased with the fit and comfort of these Lockport shoes! Have been looking at them for about three years. Finally bought them. Glad I did!

This is my second pair of Rockport Chukka 2. They are the most comfy shoes Ive ever owned and the added bonus is how many times Ive had friends and co workers ask me where I got them and how much they like them. This is a good shoe and I am looking at a different color in the same model. I have a pair of black ones for work.

I ordered these in extra wide. The width for the right shoe felt a tad narrow. So I wore them inside the house for a week before deciding to keep them. I like the look of chukka/desert boots and these are some of the very few that come in varying widths.

This is a great shoe. I have worn it almost every day for the past year. The soles have worn considerably but the leather (on the brown buck skin variety) is so soft, and the shoe is so light they are like a pair of moccasins. They look great in jeans and I have worn them at work. I can't remember but they may have a short break in period, but the leather on the buck skin like variety just ages beautifully and conforms to your feet. I bought another pair before Zappos and/or Rockport stops offering them. I have them in black too, but that leather is stiffer. Still comfortable but I don't wear them as much and they still breaking in. They are a bit on the minimalist side, the natural foot movement that's popular now, but overall a great shoe.

Ordered this shoe in Wide and they must run narrow, exchanged for extra wide and couldn't be happier. Its one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Zappos service was excellent. thinking a buying a second pair in another color.

This shoe is lightweight, very nice. I wear a 14 2E and ordered 15 2E, so get a larger size, but very good shoe. Excellent customer service. Shoes were sent to me in Korea and arrived in 9 days. That is great for FPO addresses. I highly recommend.

At a size 15 shoe, my shoes are frequently heavy. These give good support of my foot and ankle and are not heavy. They look good on and I have had several compliments!

My husband loves these! They require no break in time. They are comfortable right out of the box. They are very lightweight but still sturdy.
