These are outstanding! They are probably the most comfortable shoes that you will ever own. It feels like wearing a pair of Nike Airs (Adidas cushioned the heels in these) with soft bounce to the sole and they are feather light at 11 ounces for the pair. With four different colors, you will probably come back for a second pair like I did.

Looks great. Quality is super. They weigh nothing...but they run short. I'll have to go up from a 12 to a 13... and hope it won't be too large - there is no 12.5.

Light as a feather and incomparably comfortable. I wear them to work, out and about the yard and when I go to the gym to walk the treadmill and lift weights. The soles are made by Adidas, so these are essentially tennis shoes that look like desert boots. You can't beat these for comfort.

Ordered last Friday and received them today, Tuesday. Took out of the box, little tight across top of foot. Loosened up with wear within very short time. Wearing them now at work and do they feel just great. Can hardly tell I'm wearing them. As a nurse, my feet take a lot of punishment from walking during a shift. But going from straight from the box to wearing these shoes at work with no break in period; it is just unreal! I purchased the 4EEE after reading another review about having wide feet. Brother, you were right. The shoes look great and are very comfortable. Thanks Zappos!

Amazingly light and well fitted, but a size too small. I'm going to hate wearing them for work, they're such great looking new shoes. I think I'll just splash some paint on them first and get it over with.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They're so light and flexible that it feels like I'm wearing shoes made of air. I like them so much I bought another pair after I'd worn them for two months, just so I'll have some for the foreseeable future.

Excellent shoe! I am in middle of width went one wide up and the fit was excellent. Wearable right out of the box. Not sure of wear, but very comfortable shoe.

Really good looking shoes that nice and comfortable. They do have a very thin sole, I think I'll probably get some extra SuperFeet insoles to help with that. I just received them today, so maybe that won't be a problem, however.

I don't do these reviews often. And when I do I try to exercise some brevity. So, let me quickly sum up my opinion here. I'm 55, 6'4" and over 230. In my many days I've had a good many pair of shoes. These Rockport's are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in my life. Period. Bar none.

Outstanding shoe, period. I have walking issues (semi-functional quadriplegic) and these shoes provide me the opportunity to walk with minimal assistance. I can feel the ground and make adjustments in real-time. Superb comfort with its cushioning. Bought three pairs!

Very high quality and comfortable shoe. I buy many Chukka type shoes and this one has a real nice comfort to it. Don't think it has much arch support as I'm flat footed and if feels fine. Insole provide is very comfortable though. Soft leather, soft fabric entry trim. Simple style but looks nice with jeans.

Bought these for my husband to wear to work. He loves them. Will probably be getting another pair for him too. True to Rockport fit/feel these are lightweight and easy for him to wear all day.

Lightest and most comfortable shoes I've owned. Support is adequate for such a light shoe. I will definitely get another pair down the road.

This shoe has become one of my favorites. It is so lightweight and comfortable. It feels true to size. I wear a size 11 and am about190#. The support is very good. I've worn them for hours and didn't know I had them on my feet.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are very nicely cushioned and they fit perfectly, both length and width.

Cool looking, especially for Rockports. Super lightweight but great sole support. Required zero break-in period. Going to use them for touring abroad and think that they will be perfect.

Highly recommend these chukkas. They are literally the lightest shoe you've ever felt - probably weight less than most flip flops. The 4E width is true to size. Just be aware these are purely meant for casual wear, not work.

I am absolutely in love with these shoes! They are so light, it's like wearing house slippers or a pair of sneakers. I've gotten a number of compliments on the shoes, so in addition to how comfortable they are, they are really stylish. They look great with jeans or khakis; I've worn them to football games and during a night on the town with my wife. I can't say enough about these shoes, except I'm seriously contemplating getting another pair.

I bought these shoes after bone spur removal because the were very soft and comfortable. They are very light and I would recommend them.

These shoes get lots of compliments, and are really comfortable. Must be the adiprene, as the footbed is really soft and cushy. Easily the most comfortable shoes I own.

The style of this shoe caught my eye, but the comfort of this shoe caused me to buy (a second pair). Extremely light and all-day comfortable. I weigh over 200 pounds and find that this shoe gives me comfortable support all day. Feels almost like a moccasin with a very low heel and feather weight. Bought the light nubuck and asked Santa to bring me a pair of the brown leather. Can't say enough good things about this shoe. Rockport did it again!

Light as a feather, and oh so comfortable. Love these shoes. Wore them everyday on a trip to Spain and loved both the look and the comfort.

Most shoes weigh well over a pound each. These shoes are less than 9 ounces each. I found myself high stepping when I first put them on because they are so light. The shoes are comfortable out of the box, no breaking in required. The color is like you see on the web site. I like the matching laces and soles. I don't think these are harsh weather shoes, and I haven't walked on rough gravel so I can't tell you how much protection the sole would give you on rough terrain. But for urban dwellers, these shoes are terrific, they go well with shorts, jeans and khakis. Well done Rockport.

Finally, desert chukkas like the red sole chukkas from the past. Wonderfully comfortable and easy to walk in. They're so good, I bought two more pairs!
