These are great and comfortable shoes - unfortunately they are now discontinued so buy a pair now before they're all gone. These are soft, look good with dress slacks or jeans, and age well. I've had a pair for 2 years and am disappointed that I won't be able to get another after this.

Zappos is the best -- lightning fast shipping and the best return policy on the Internet, although I've only had to return one pair and that was my fault, for ordering the wrong size. Rockport is a great band, and they call these chukkas "lite," but they really ought to call them ultralight. They are incredibly comfortable and weigh about half as much as they look like they should. I am a fan of the low profile soles on shoes like these because they do their job without getting in the way or making you look like you're wearing clown shoes.

A long wait for a desert / chukka boot in extended sizes has been well rewarded with this chukka from Rockport. Good looking, comfortable, and super light in weight, a feature not apparent in the write-up unless you dig to find the weight among the product details. They are so light that it's like wearing slippers! No arch support, but 3/4-length, flexible orthotics work fine in this shoe.

These shoes rock! Every bit as comfy as New Balance trainers (the only shoes I've worn for years) and even lighter. I bought two pair and have been hunting for other colors in my size. They are true to fit and so comfortable and they look cool! Get some (if you can find them!).
