These are really wide - almost too wide. So if you have really big calves they would be good - if you do not then I would suggest not buying these boots.

The foot fit was just perfect: snug and felt very stable. But the calf width, which was described as 16 inches (my exact calf circumference), was fully 20 inches! I looked like I had wings trailing behind my calves! Such a pity as they look great otherwise. And I don't see a medium-wide shaft version of this boot. Guess it's back to trying on boots in actual stores.....

Only made it through one winter. Zipper is not quality and the sole of the boot similarly felt cheap and not built to last.
